Harry Styles drops sex toys, not songs — fans say 'We Wanted Music, Not Vibrators!'
This week, Harry Styles got a lot of attention when he posted an unusual update on Instagram Stories. Some fans thought he might be announcing new music, but the former One Direction star instead said he would be putting out a new collection of clothes from Pleasing, the lifestyle brand he started in 2021.
Harry Styles kept his cards close to his chest at first in the update. He shared a mysterious picture of someone setting a glass of milk on a table and then tapping something in Morse code while a woman heard and looked shocked.
Pleasing Instagram profile
While playing at home, the text said, "For those 18 years of age and older," and it then gave a link to a website that said the same thing. After that, the site said, "Something Nice is Coming Soon" and "Not Everything Needs to Be Spelled Out."
The company has now announced that there will be a new line of sex toys. The toys are called "intimacy tools" and are meant to put pleasure where it belongs: in your hands.
There are now two items on the market. "The Pleasing Lube" is an FDA-approved silicone lubricant, and "The Pleasing Double-Sided Vibrator" was created by Pleasing and author Zoe Ligon.
The first one costs $25 (£19), and the second one costs $68 (£50).
The Pleasing brand used to only sell nail polish and a few skin care items, but this marks an increase of its offerings. Since its start in 2021, it has grown to include clothes, accessories, candles, and scents.
Styles' new release has caused mixed feelings among his fans. Some are happy that he is focused on growing his business, while others are upset that his most recent Instagram posts didn't hint at new music.

One person on X/Twitter said, "Harry Styles is putting out vibrators before going to the studio and making HS4," and another said, "We didn't ask for this; we asked for new music..."
Some people were more positive about the launch, though. One said, "All my years of being a One Direction fan have led me to this time... I'm going to buy the Harry Styles vibrator." Harry Styles Vibrator is the straight woman's Sydney Sweeney bath soap," said someone else, comparing it to the new soap from star Sydney Sweeney.

In the past few years, Styles has been busy with many things besides singing. He was seen in the crowds in Vatican City earlier this year, witnessing the election of the new Pope. Before that, he ran the Tokyo Marathon.
The singer and Dua Lipa were both on the list of the richest UK artists under 30 years old last year. It comes after his net worth has grown since he started working alone.

He has been at the top of the charts many times with songs like "Watermelon Sugar" and "As It Was." He has also gone on a world stadium tour and won many BRIT Awards, Grammys, and Ivor Novellos.

Sydney Sweeney 'Great Jeans' Ad slammed as tone-deaf and racist
Published July 28th, 2025 - 02:54 GMT ALBAWABA - People don't like Sydney Sweeney's new "great jeans" ad campaign because it seems racist. The Euphoria star is in a new ad campaign for American Eagle. The motto is "Sydney Sweeney has great genes." But a lot of people on social media have pointed out that the play on words with "great genes" has racist meanings because it's linked to eugenics and praising whiteness in the past. "That Sydney Sweeney ad didn't make sense to me at first, but then I realized I should watch it with the sound on, and OH MY GOD." "Yeah, that's some fucked-up Aryan eugenics shit," someone wrote on X. American Eagle Instagram profile Someone else said, "Maybe I'm too fucking woke." "But getting a blonde, blue-eyed white woman and basing your campaign on the idea that she has perfect genes seems strange, especially given how things are in America right now." "I don't like the Sydney Sweeney jeans ad; it makes me wonder why we're promoting eugenics when the country is in such bad shape. NO, I don't want your genes." "Fuck you, American Eagle," said a third. "Are Sydney and American Eagle really hoping that people won't see this as a code word for eugenics and white supremacy?" A fourth wrote. I didn't know what everyone was freaking out about with that Sydney Sweeney ad but then I realized I should watch it with the sound on and OH MY GOD. Yeah that's some fucked Aryan eugenics shit — Dr. Mia Brett (@QueenMab87) July 27, 2025 The campaign also wants to bring attention to domestic violence through a line created by Sweeney called "The Sydney Jean." The full price of the line goes to the Crisis Text Line, which helps people with mental health issues. Maybe I'm too fucking getting a blue eyed, blonde, white women and focusing your campaign around her having perfect genetics Feels weird, especially considering the current state of America — David (@davejr307) July 25, 2025 However, some people have said that this part of the campaign is tone deaf, with one writing, "Is this really the ad they came up with to raise money for a domestic violence organization?' ✨Re: Sydney Sweeney'Genes are passed down from parent to offspring, often determining traits like eye color, personality, and even hair color…' So Sydney (& American Eagle) somehow expect audiences to not interpret this visual as a euphemism for eugenics and white supremacy? — My Fairy Godfather (@MFG_iWPJ) July 26, 2025 Another person told MailOnline, "As someone who has used and volunteered for this organization, this is SO disgustingly tone-deaf." Sweeney's next movie will be the drama Christy, in which she plays boxer Christy Martin. The movie is set to come out in September. In other news, the actor said she would like to be in a Barbie sequel with Margot Robbie. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (

Piers Morgan slams Stephen Colbert after firing: 'Just a Democrat Campaign Puppet'
ALBAWABA - Piers Morgan has something to say about the end of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert." The TV personality told X on Sunday morning that most late-night shows are now just "hyper-partisan activist hacks" for the Left and that it's "no wonder" Stephen Colbert was fired. He also showed a front page of the New York Post that said, "No wonder he was fired, 'The Left Show With Stephen Colbert.'" Morgan wrote: This is so damning. Most of America's biggest late-night hosts have become nothing more than hyper-partisan activist hacks for the Democrats - a party that's rarely been more unpopular. No wonder Colbert got canned. More will follow. This is so damning. More will follow. — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 27, 2025 Morgan isn't the only TV expert who has spoken out against Stephen Colbert's firing. Also on Sunday, Jay Leno, the former host of "The Tonight Show," said that late-night hosts "cozy up" to one political party too often, which turns off some of their viewers. Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and US President Donald Trump (by Brendan SMIALOWSKI / AFP) By all means, allow me to say that I enjoy political jokes. That's what happens, though, when people get too close to one side or the other. David Trulio, president and CEO of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, talked to Leno about this. "Why always aim for half of the audience?" Why not try to get the whole thing? I mean, I like showing people how things fit into the bigger picture. UPDATE: Just watched a drooling @60Minutes segment tonight about John Oliver who was proud of telling his viewers not to vote for Trump at last election. He told them to vote for Kamala Harris instead. That's not comedy, it's partisan political activism. — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 28, 2025 The 17th of July brought the news that the end of the "Late Show" would be for all of its versions, not just Stephen Colbert's. CBS said the move was a "financial decision," but some people have thought it was to make the FCC happy because CBS' parent company, Paramount, and Skydance are about to merge.

UK citizens use Norman Reedus's Death Stranding face to bypass age restriction
ALBAWABA - Graphics so realistic they bypass the law: Citizens living in the UK recently went viral after reportedly using Norman Reedus's face in Hideo Kojima's game, Death Stranding, to bypass the country's recently introduced "safety measures" for internet age restriction. Kojima's recently released game, Death Stranding 2, received critical success for its stunning graphics, unique gameplay, and engaging storyline. However, UK citizens are taking advantage of the realistic graphics to reportedly bypass age-restricted content on porn websites, Discord, and Reddit. The new law aims to make it harder for children to come across adult content or harmful material on the internet. According to the BBC, platforms that ignore the new law could face a £18 million fine or 10 percent in world revenue. Ofcom, the media regulator, which implemented the law, is using estimated age selfies, credit card checks, and photo ID matching to verify the user's age. The move sparked widespread debate on social media, with many adults protesting. Some individuals raised concerns about sharing sensitive content such as ID and credit cards on the internet. Several others said they are willing to use a VPN to bypass the new law.
