Saudi citizen airlifted from Azerbaijan for treatment
RIYADH — A Saudi citizen was airlifted to Saudi Arabia from Azerbaijan after falling ill so as to provide him with better treatment in the Kingdom.
The Saudi embassy in Azerbaijan evacuated the citizen on board a medical evacuation plane.
The evacuation was supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by the Saudi embassy in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.
This was in coordination with relevant authorities in the Kingdom, and that was in implementation of the directives of the Saudi leadership.
