Travis Kelce and Other NFL Tight Ends Reveal Their Favorite Taylor Swift Song

Travis Kelce revealed his favorite song by girlfriend Taylor Swift, but said he was "too shy" to sing any lyrics Other tight ends like George Kittle and Rob Gronkowski also revealed their favorite songs by Swift The most popular Swift songs among the tight ends were "Shake It Off" and "22"The guys of Tight End University have great taste. After fans went wild over an impromptu performance from Taylor Swift at her boyfriend Travis Kelce's Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville, the tight ends were asked to reveal their favorite song by the superstar singer in a video on the Bussin' with the Boys podcast's Instagram account. The first tight end shown is Rob Gronkowski, who won four Super Bowls before retiring in 2022. Gronkowski, 36, said his favorite Swift track is "Shake It Off," which was the song she performed at the concert on June 24. Kelce, 35, said his favorite song by his girlfriend is "So High School," from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department. The song's lyrics are seemingly a nod to her relationship with the Chiefs star, who gave PEOPLE the same answer at his Kelce Car Jam in May 2024. After revealing his answer, Kelce was asked to sing a few lyrics, but became nervous and laughingly said he's "too shy." Threads Expands its Hidden Words Options

This story was originally published on Social Media Today. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Social Media Today newsletter. Threads continues to steadily separate from Instagram, and add more customization and control options, this time with an expansion of its 'Hidden Words' settings, so that you can block unwanted discussion from your experience. As you can see in these example screens, Threads has now added another element to its Hidden Words option, with an optional toggle to block offensive content, and/or set your own custom terms and emojis to filter out of your Threads experience. The update is an expansion on the Hidden Words features that Threads first launched back in April. As explained by Threads chief Adam Mosseri: '[The update] includes newly added custom filters to block words, phrases, and emojis in batches, with optional time limits. Threads is about fostering an open exchange of perspectives, and to do so people need to be able to shape the experience into one where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. This is just one more idea in support of that goal.' In terms of time limits, users can choose to block certain words, phrases, or emojis, and set an expiration date on that setting within 30 days. So if there's a topic that's really annoying you, or TV show spoilers you want to avoid, you can erase them from your view for a certain time. It's a significant update, in more ways than one, because up till now, Threads has primarily relied on your IG settings for the same, using your Instagram profile as a proxy for your Threads experience. But with Threads evolving into its own platform, the Threads team is now adding more options that are separate from Instagram. Which is a smart move. While it made sense for Meta to boost Threads take-up by integrating it with IG in its initial launch stage, the way that people now use Threads is, for most people at least, very different to what they come to Instagram for. As such, Threads needs its own settings, and its own processes, separate from your Instagram interactions and preferences, in order to build it into its own experience. The Threads team has already taken steps on this front, by removing Threads follow recommendations based on what you engage with on IG, while it's also testing the option to create a Threads profile without using your Instagram login. These are all important steps to separate the two, and enable Threads to grow into a new platform of its own. And with 350 million users, Threads should now have enough engagement insights, based on Threads activity in isolation, to have a clear understanding of engagement trends and interest graphs separate from IG. Providing Threads-specific controls is another step in this direction, as Meta looks to build it into the next billion-user platform. Is that even possible? I mean, Twitter/X has never exceeded 600 million users, so it does seem like the interest in a real-time, text-based social feed like this is limited. But maybe, if Meta can get it right, it could well overtake the growth of the format's originator at some stage. Sign in to access your portfolio

Alo And Mandarin Oriental Bodrum Debut A Wellness-Focused Beach Club

This summer Alo and Mandarin Oriental Bodrum have partnered up to create a wellness-focused beach ... More club. When you think about a beach club, chances are you imagine a bevy of cocktails, alongside easy-to-eat bites (like fish tacos or a burger). However, this summer Alo and Mandarin Oriental Bodrum have partnered up to create a beach club that'll leave you feeling good inside and out. The branded pop-up will serve up healthy bites, fresh coconut drinks and freshly made detox juices, which are all items you wouldn't commonly find at a beach club. 'This is truly the first of its kind for us—an immersive beach club pop-up that brings together fashion, wellness, and lifestyle in one seamless space," explains Summer Nacewicz, EVP of creative and marketing at Alo in an interview with Forbes ."Our goal was to create something that felt natural to the environment, yet distinctly Alo. From movement programming led by our international instructors to design choices like locally sourced materials and a plant-covered ceiling in the boutique, every detail was intentional. It's more than a pop-up, it's a wellness sanctuary by the sea." While the pop-up includes a massive 700-square-foot shop, the real standouts are the food and beverage offerings, which take wellness to the next level. For instance, visitors can enjoy coconut refreshments from a custom Alo-branded cart or order health-conscious dishes from the menu. In addition, there will be a huge selection of wellness sessions led by international Alo instructors, including meditation, Pilates, outdoor strength workouts and sound healing. The Alo Beach Club will be open from May to September during the busy season in the Turkish Riviera. ... More 'We've elevated the beachside experience with Alo-branded touches, including a signature coconut cart offering fresh, whole coconuts for a hydrating moment between sun and swim,' says Nacewicz. 'We've also reimagined the beach menu design to reflect Alo's clean, elevated aesthetic, while keeping the incredible culinary offerings from Mandarin Oriental intact.' In other words, the brand worked with the hotel to bring Alo's lifestyle to one of the world's most iconic summer destinations. 'This partnership allowed us to create something truly immersive: not just a store, but a full sensory experience rooted in wellness, movement, and mindful design,' says Nacewicz. 'It's the ultimate expression of studio-to-sand living.' While the beach club itself is stunning (it's outfitted with gorgeous beachy neutrals), arguably one of the biggest standouts to the pop-up is the detox juice menu.'Our detox juice menu was thoughtfully crafted to support digestion, boost hydration, and deliver delicious nourishment using locally sourced, organic ingredients," says Nacewicz. 'From green apple and flaxseed to turmeric and wheatgrass, each blend is rooted in wellness and designed to help guests feel refreshed, energized, and aligned.' According to Nacewicz, creating the concept for the pop-up was all about thoughtfully layering. 'We didn't want to replace what was already great—we wanted to enhance it," she says. 'We worked closely with the Mandarin Oriental team to introduce subtle but impactful Alo-branded elements, from the menu presentation to locally inspired wellness-driven touches. It's all about adding moments that feel intentional, fresh, and aligned with how our community lives and dines—clean, nourishing, and refined.' All in all, the program is meant to offer a comprehensive mind and body experience, beginning from the inside out. All the food and beverage offerings are intended to aid in your wellness journey. The club will be open from May to September during the busy season in the Turkish Riviera.
