Anderson .Paak Confirms Musical Collaboration With Mariah Carey For Her Upcoming Album

Anderson .Paak has confirmed collaboration with Mariah Carey. The 39-year-old singer-songwriter and producer appeared on Track Star on Friday. The highlight of his appearance – his Mariah Carey T-shirt. Further, what added to the fans' intrigue was his confirmation about the project with Carey which is in the works. The confirmation of his collaboration comes months later .Paak and Carey were seen holding hands at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March 2025. The rumoured couple was also spotted leaving the Birds Street Cafe in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. At the award function, Carey received the icon award and was helped by .Paak to get onto the stage for her acceptance speech.
In her speech, Carey said, 'Thank you iHeart for this incredible honour." She joked, 'As a kid, I used to listen to my favourite artist on the radio and dream of being on the airwave myself. Now, for those of you who may not know what airwaves are, think of it as the non-Wifi version of streaming, OK?"
On the work front, .Paak is known for his work in Silk Sonic, for which he collaborated with Bruno Mars. Additionally, he has four original solo albums, Venice, Malibu, Oxnard and Ventura to his credit. .Paak's debut album became a blockbuster success after he appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series in 2016. It was also referred to as 'the most popular in the history of the series."
Carey, on the other hand, is currently busy working on a new album. However, she is yet to disclose further details at this time.
