Nikki Sixx reveals why Mötley Crüe didn't perform at Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath farewell show — after Sharon's disinvite shocker
The heavy metal band was speculated to have been the group that Sharon Osbourne disinvited from her husband Ozzy Osbourne's final show with Black Sabbath last weekend.
But co-founder Nikki Sixx recently clarified the reason for the band's absence on X (formerly Twitter).

'We have been having health issues within the band….,' Sixx, 66, wrote on Friday in response to a fan who asked why they weren't at the farewell concert.

Sixx then shared a lengthier message on Instagram with more insight into his health.
'I work HARD and i'm not interested in dying from work and BS STRESS,' the musician wrote. 'I work up my blood twice a year and WE'RE focused on always evolving health my goal. Just got back today's newest results and considering some misadventures in the past this 66 year old pirate ship looks ready to go back to sea.'

'I have a wonderful wife, 5 golden children and a beautiful granddaughter. Do you think any part of my past indulgences Is worth destroying the beautiful life I built?' Sixx continued. 'Never. This is it.'
The rocker added: 'Either get your s–t tighter or die a slow death crawl. We all die, some just give up sooner….I'm planning on cracking 100. That will piss off the critics. Enjoy your weekend.'
Sixx made no mention of Sharon, 72, amid the rumors that a band was disinvited from the big show.

Mötley Crüe, which is currently made up of Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil and John 5, delayed their Las Vegas residency earlier this year and canceled their show at the Boardwalk Rock Festival in April due to Neil's health issues.
In a statement, the band said that Neil, 64, was 'recuperating after a required medical procedure advised by the doctors.'

On July 5, Ozzy, 76, performed his final show with Black Sabbath at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England, where the band was formed in 1968.
Due to his Parkinson's condition, Ozzy sat on stage in a black leather chair for his performance.
The gig featured additional performances by Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and Rival Sons.

Before the concert, Sharon sparked a social media firestorm by stating that a band was booted from the event because they wanted to cash in on Ozzy's final farewell.
'It's not the time to make a profit,' she told Billboard. 'After the show, I'll let everybody know who it was. I think people will be shocked.'

Following Sharon's remarks, fans quickly began speculating which band was disinvited from the concert.
Mötley Crüe and Kiss were the most common guesses in a Reddit thread about the drama.
One fan said: 'I think it's Motley Crue because they made so much money on [their] Farewell tour and said they were done … then all of a sudden they want to come back for another cash grab and that's when [guitarist Mick] Mars left the band. Even if they have money. They need more.'

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are 2025's newest 'it couple': Why fans are rooting for the co-stars and their 'budding' romance
Pamela Anderson and her "budding" romance with Liam Neeson have captured the public's attention. (Image via Getty Images/Yahoo Canada Illustration) Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are, without a doubt, the most buzz-worthy couple of 2025. Fans spotted the pair's undeniable chemistry while promoting their new film The Naked Gun — there were flirtatious moments on the red carpet, alongside plenty of laughter, smitten smiles and seemingly intimate body-language. The press tour for the reboot of the Leslie Nielson comedy has generated buzz — not for the film itself, but for letting spectators fall in love with the idea of 72-year-old Neeson and 58-year-old Anderson finding love. According to People, the pair are enjoying the 'early stages' of a 'budding romance.' Advertisement 'It's clear they're smitten with each other,' an anonymous source told the magazine. Social media has gone into a frenzy at the prospect of Anderson and Neeson being the real deal. (Images via Getty Images/X/Yahoo Canada Illustration) Although the source said the relationship began after filming the movie, Neeson has been effusive of his feelings for Anderson. 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with,' Neeson said in an October 2024 interview. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with." Anderson reciprocated, calling the British actor a 'perfect gentleman.' Plenty of press tours rely on the chemistry of stars to sell tickets. You don't have to think too far back to the likes of Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell seemingly leaning into rumours of an on-set affair while doing press for their 2023 film Anyone But You. And you can forget (or perhaps forgive) Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for purposely leading audiences to believe they 'fell in love' through their film, A Star is Born (2018). Advertisement So, what makes fan fascination with Neeson and Anderson any different? It turns out, plenty. Neeson and Richardson (pictured in 2008) were married for 16 years prior to her death in 2009. Musician Tommy Lee and Anderson (pictured in 1996) made headlines for their sometimes tumultuous relationship. (Images via Getty Images) Aside from being a revered and celebrated actor, Liam Neeson's personal heartbreak has endeared him to fans. In 2009, Neeson's wife, actress Natasha Richardson, died after sustaining a head injury while skiing. The couple had been married for 15 years and shared two sons who were in their early teens at the time of her death. Richardson was a beloved actress in her own right, and a member of the Redgrave acting dynasty. Her role in the '90s film, The Parent Trap, as Lindsay Lohan's lovable bridal designer mother Elizabeth James, cemented her as a sentimental touchstone for millennials who viewed her death as the loss of a pseudo-mother figure. Questions about dating over 40, marriage, divorce or anything else? We want to hear from you. Email us at relationship-questions@ and your question could be featured in an upcoming article. Even though he previously denounced dating, the prospect of Neeson finding love again is heartwarming, but it's whom he's "smitten" with that fuels interest in his personal life. Anderson's past contains its own heartache. She's been a misunderstood public figure and in many ways, a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. Anderson's past contains its own heartache. She's been a misunderstood public figure and in many ways, a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. After experiencing sexual abuse during her childhood, she was catapulted to fame as a sex symbol. Her tumultuous romantic relationships made headlines, as did her private home video with ex-husband Tommy Lee which was stolen and sold without her consent. However, unlike Marilyn, the dismantling of a toxic Hollywood star-system has allowed the mother-of-two to rewrite the narrative assigned to her. In 2023, Anderson debuted a new look that included minimal makeup and high-fashion designer clothes. (Photo by) The former Baywatch star has shed all remnants of her former image, opting for a high-fashion, minimalist, fresh-faced aesthetic. Through her autobiography and documentary, the public has been able to see Anderson as a woman who has struggled with depression for "decades," a dedicated mother and artist who leads a "lonely" and "solitary" life. While there's shame in how she was treated by the media (and rightfully so) the public's embrace of the real Anderson includes rooting for her to find happiness, which might come in the form of a romance. Advertisement And while we all know that romantic relationships aren't the be-all and end-all of life, it's touching to see people find love in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond. Prior to Neeson and Anderson, the internet rallied behind actors Meryl Streep, 75, and Martin Short, 76, who began a relationship while filming the TV show Only Murders In the Building. Streep had separated from her husband of 45 years, Don Gummer, while Short's wife of more than 30 years, Nancy Dolman, died from cancer in 2010. Meryl Streep and Martin Short have become one of the internet's favourite couples. (Photo by JC Olivera/WireImage) While the internet can be an ugly place, the support for Streep and Short, as well as Neeson and Anderson, is wholesome. If we were to speculate why, it could be that aside from being beloved celebrities, these couples are examples of people finding love later in life and shining a spotlight on a demographic of people often excluded from traditional dating narratives. Many people are led to believe that women over 40 or post-menopause have somehow lost their appeal and are no longer desirable. It's not uncommon for men, particularly male celebrities, in their 50s, 60s or 70s to suddenly appear on a red carpet with a woman in her 20s or 30s on their arm. But having Streep and Short, Neeson and Anderson as examples of age-appropriate couples helps shift the discourse around what sex and romance can look like for people in their later years — even if its done unintentionally. They represent hope that no matter what twists, turns and heartbreaks you may suffer, good things can come to good people at any age. Love is still possible after loss and often when you least expect it. Let us know what you think by emailing us, commenting below and tweeting @YahooStyleCA! Follow us on Twitter and Instagram.

Grief-stricken Sharon Osbourne and kids put on united front at Ozzy's funeral procession
Sharon Osbourne and her three kids — Aimee, Jack and Kelly — put on a united front at Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession in Birmingham, England, on Wednesday. The frail mom of three, 72, and her kids, including her stepson Louis, got out of a black vehicle and walked over to a pile of flowers and cards that fans left along the roads. There, she placed a pink flower that was wrapped in black paper among the other fans' tributes. Sharon, who wore a black floor-length dress, became overtaken with emotions as she cried while Kelly and Jack held onto her arms to help hold her up. The family then turned to the screaming crowd and held up peace signs before walking back to their vehicles and continuing the procession. The Black Sabbath frontman's family planned for him a 'small, private funeral' following his tragic death on July 22, an insider told People Tuesday. 'Ozzy would never want a mope-fest,' the source shared. There was also a public procession to honor Ozzy in Birmingham. 'It was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral,' Zafar Iqbal, the city's lord mayor, said in a statement Monday. The musician's hearse traveled down Broad Street with his family following in vehicles. Ozzy's funeral plans respected his wishes to have a 'celebration, not a mope-fest.' 'I honestly don't care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes 'em happy,' he shared in a 2011 Times column. 'I'd also like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death,'' the Prince of Darkness quipped. 'There'll be no harping on the bad times.' Ozzy's family announced his passing via a statement obtained by Page Six last week. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love,' they wrote. Over the years, the songwriter has suffered from Parkinson's disease and other health issues.

Ozzy Osbourne's Guitarist Zakk Wylde Details Final Conversation
Originally appeared on E! Online Zakk Wylde is sharing his final moment with Ozzy Osbourne. The guitarist, who worked on and off with the 'Crazy Train' singer since 1987, recently reflected on playing Osbourne's final show with Black Sabbath on July 5, admitting he had no idea how impactful the moment would become. 'Everybody and their mother were in the backstage dressing room and I just wanted to give him a break,' Zakk recalled in an interview with Guitar World published July 29. 'I figured we'd see him later on—the next day or whatever. But no. The last text I got from Oz was saying, 'Zakky, sorry, it was like a madhouse back there. I didn't see you.' He goes, 'Thanks for everything.'' And while it was an otherwise normal exchange for the musicians, Zakk shared it gave him the closure he needed. 'It was just us talking, saying, 'I love you, buddy.'' he recalled. 'That was it.' More from E! Online Why Bryan Kohberger Left Roommate Dylan Mortensen Alive, According to Idaho Prosecutor James Van Der Beek Shares Difficult Update on Cancer Journey Why Khloe Kardashian Chose to Be a Caretaker to Tristan Thompson's Brother Amari Ozzy's last show—which saw him play to 45,000 people in his hometown of Birmingham, England—felt like 'business as usual' for Zakk, who rejoined Ozzy's team in 2017 after parting ways in the 2000s. Still, the musician admitted he didn't feel as focused on his performance but rather, 'making sure that Oz was okay.' 'It was definitely pretty amazing,' Zakk recalled. 'Seeing Oz onstage when Sabbath got done, that's the last time I saw him.' In Zakk's eyes, that final memory with the musician was perfect. 'I'm blessed and grateful,' he continued. 'Anything other than that would be selfish.' Indeed, Zakk and Ozzy remained close confidants despite their ebbs and flows of working together, with the 58-year-old always considering Ozzy one of his closest mentors. 'Oz was just the best,' he said. 'I have my father, who was a World War II veteran; and then Ozzy, who was almost like an older brother. There was almost a 20-year age gap between us. With our relationship, there was the fun drinking—but if I ever needed advice, I could talk to him.' In addition to his millions of fans, Ozzy touched many stars' hearts.
