Located on the ground floor of the shopping centre, the highly-anticipated store spans over 3,700 sq ft and stocks exclusively Mango Woman.
And it is one of the first in Scotland to feature the stylish new Mediterranean-inspired concept, New Med.
The new store has been built to generate a low environmental impact.
The design boasts a Mediterranean theme with warm and neutral colours, combined with traditional, handcrafted, sustainable and natural materials.
A large window at the front of the shop allows Overgate's customers to see the bright interior and affordable collections from outside.
The branch also includes a click and collect area, as well as a new Committed Box.
This is a container where customers can deposit clothing and footwear to give their garments a second life.
Commenting, Malcolm Angus, Centre Manager, Overgate said: 'We are delighted to welcome Mango to Overgate.
'There has been huge interest and excitement about the brand's arrival to Dundee and this weekend's opening is a fantastic addition to the centre as it continues its remarkable retail transformation.
'Mango within Overgate will offer highly desirable wardrobe essentials and on-trend fashion for women at affordable price points, set within the store's striking New Med aesthetic.

'We invite our customers to visit Overgate and experience Mango's excellent new retail offering.'
In addition to the arrival of Mango, iconic British brand Clarks opened a new store in Overgate last month.
Sports Direct tycoon Mike Ashley bought the Overgate Shopping Centre in Dundee in 2023.
Since then huge plans have emerged for the retail hub, including a £5million transformation.
One plan for the centre is a huge new department store.
Frasers, which is owned by Ashley, will take over the vacant Debenhams.
The store is scheduled to open in June.

Warning over ‘loophole' as Reform UK opens crypto donations

It comes as Reform UK has announced it would begin accepting donations in cryptocurrency. Speaking at the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas yesterday, leader Nigel Farage pledged that his party would 'launch in Britain a crypto revolution'. Party chairman Zia Yusuf, meanwhile, told reporters on Friday that Reform UK had already received its first cryptocurrency donations, adding they were all compliant with Electoral Commission rules. READ MORE: Labour Government plan to teach 'importance of UK military' in schools But anti-corruption organisation Transparency International has warned that the 'integrity of our democratic process' is at risk unless the UK Government brings in reforms. Cryptocurrency donations are allowed within current rules, as long as parties collect enough information to 'properly check that each donation is from a permissible source'. The EC website explains: 'Cryptocurrencies are digital currencies that operate independently of any central bank or authority. 'The same rules apply to donations received in cryptocurrencies as any other donations. 'Sufficient information must be collected to check permissibility. There must be a means of valuing the donation given in any cryptocurrency.' Reform's website also currently contains a disclaimer on the top of the payment page which reads: 'Reform UK may accept a donation only from a permissible donor and where the identity of the donor is known. 'We ask you to provide information so that we can perform the required checks.' But Steve Goodrich, head of research and investigations at the anti-corruption organisation, told The National that cryptocurrencies still pose a 'serious challenge to UK political finance laws'. 'The anonymity offered by digital currencies makes it nearly impossible for political parties to have confidence in their donors' identities,' he said. 'Our current laws were designed to ensure transparency in political funding, but they were written before Bitcoin existed. Today, they appear increasingly outdated.' Goodrich added: "As cryptocurrency adoption grows, we face a widening loophole that could allow unlimited anonymous donations to flow into British politics. 'The government urgently needs to act and bring forward legislation to address both traditional big money influence and the emerging threat of digital donations. Without reform, the integrity of our democratic process remains at risk."

Rochelle Humes wows in 'perfect' £35 summer jumper from Next

Rochelle Humes has once again wowed fans with an item from her collection at Next Summer in the UK is a bit of a lottery. One day, it's warm and sunny, the next, it's chucking it down with rain. That's why it's always wise to have a lightweight jumper or cardigan at the ready. Recently, This Morning star Rochelle Humes showcased the perfect summer jumper on the Next website. The ITV presenter has an ongoing collection with the fashion retailer and this new-in piece is just the ticket for the unpredictable British weather. The crew-neck fitted jumper, priced at £35, features keyhole detailing all over. Rochelle teams the relaxed-fit knit with loose-fitting light-blue jeans for a laid-back daytime look. It would look equally as chic with denim shorts or tailored shorts on hot days or thrown over a summer dress or skirt, reports OK!. Meanwhile, Boden offers a similar Cotton Stitch Crew Jumper in a crochet style. Priced at £70, it comes in ivory and brown; the model pairs it with medium blue denim cut-offs. Over at Roman, shoppers can snap up a Crochet Tunic Top (£40) in white, teal, black, and beige. It's the perfect holiday piece to wear over a swimsuit or with shorts. Choose from sizes 10-20. The stylish piece is also available in a blue colourway with pink and green stripes. It is available in sizes extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, and extra, extra large. Returning to Rochelle's jumper from Next, one shopper said in the reviews section: "Gorgeous jumper. It is perfect for this time of year as not too hot and not too cold." Another added: "Loved the jumper but had to return as it was too short on me - I'm only 5.3 inches." A third wrote: "Very nice, fitted well, good quality." A further buyer commented: "Gorgeous jumper but massively oversized. I'm a size 14-16 and bought an XS!! Lovely cropped jumper, but huge." Another said: "An ideal spring top which teams up with any colour jeans and chinos." A sixth buyer concluded: " Good transitional jumper. Needs a camisole underneath."

Highland Park mural on Kirkwall shop may soon disappear as distillers plan new paint job

The large mural on the side of Kirkwall's Highland Park shop may be about to disappear. The whisky distillery has submitted plans to Orkney Islands Council which would see its Albert Street shop undergo a change in colour scheme. Much of the shop's exterior would be changed from the current blue-grey colour to 'Wimborne white.' This would have the shop align with the re-branding the company unveiled last October. Highland Park says the new look was created to allow it to celebrate its Orkney roots more. The shop's large Viking-inspired mural on the shop's gable end became an eye-catching addition to the high street when the company took over the premises in 2019. However, under the new plans, it would be replaced by a more basic Highland Park logo with 'single malt scotch whisky' underneath. The front-facing signage would also be repainted, maintaining dark colouring. New lettering would be fitted as well. While this may signal the disappearance of one mural from Kirkwall's high street, planning permission has just been given for another. The soon-to-open Garden Square development will be adding one designed by artist Lauren Morsley. Highland Park's shop serves as a town centre hub for visiting tourists while the distillery is located on the outskirts of Kirkwall. The shop has been particularly useful for the company over the past year while the distillery has been closed to tours and tastings. This was while work was done to make the distillery more environmentally friendly. It is estimated the project will cut the carbon emissions of the site by about 20%. Highland Park's planning application for its new mural on its Kirkwall shop is now with Orkney Island's Council's planning department, awaiting a decision.
