New Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 teaser says it's 'the thinnest, lightest' foldable
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 teaser | Screenshot by PhoneArena We're probably one month away from the official reveal of Samsung's new foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the South Korean company has already kicked off the marketing campaign.
After releasing a really confusing teaser last week that made us believe a Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is coming next month, Samsung is now focusing on what actually matters when it comes to foldable phones: size and weight. While we definitely don't get the exact dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , Samsung makes some bold claims in its latest teaser for the upcoming flagship foldable.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is ' the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet .' The smartphone manufacturer also says that its engineers and designers ' are refining each generation of the Galaxy Z series to be thinner, lighter and more durable than the last .' If we read these two phrases in a different order it basically means that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be Samsung's thinnest and lightest foldable to date. I think it's safe to assume that Samsung's statement is 100 percent accurate and in line with the most recent reports claiming the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be thinner and lighter.

The rest of the blog post is just marketing stuff that has nothing to do with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 , so let's just do a quick recap of what we know about Samsung's foldable so far.
First off, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 's internal display is said to be the same size as the Z Fold 6 Special Edition. If the claim proves to be accurate, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could boast a large 8.2-inch internal panel.
As far as dimensions go, the last report we have dates from May and claims the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could measure just 4.54mm when unfolded and 9mm when folded. The rest of the phone's measurements look like this: 158.43 x 143.14mm.
Finally, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to pack a 4,000 mAh battery and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be officially introduced in July.

If you don't want your Samsung account deleted, you need to do just one thing
If you have a Samsung account that you haven't opened for more than 24 months, you better open it before July 31st, 2025. Starting on that date, any Samsung account that has been dormant for two years or longer could be deleted. Sammy says it is doing this to protect the data of users who haven't opened their account to check it out for some time. So if you want to save a Samsung account you haven't touched in two years, make sure to open it before July 31st arrives. If you do have a Samsung account that you haven't touched for two years, open it before the end of July or the company will consider the account permanently inactive and delete it. Samsung notes that once it deletes an account, the account and the data it contained cannot be restored. To warn you that this is about to happen to one of your accounts, the manufacturer will send you a last-minute email to alert you that time is running out for your Samsung account. Those accounts that are erased will be removed from the Samsung's servers. You probably should check out your Samsung accounts before July comes to an end to make sure that they don't contain any data that you would miss if it were deleted. Here's the thing. If you do sign into your Samsung account every now and then, you can forget all about this warning and go about your daily activities without giving this a second thought. You might remember that a couple of years ago Google started deactivating Gmail accounts that hadn't been used in over two years leading some Gmail users to scramble to keep their accounts at the last second. It really doesn't seem that Samsung is asking too much from those with a Samsung account. All you need to do is log in before July 31st and the company will refrain from deleting your account, at least for now. This would seem to be a good time to see what info is in your Samsung account, and if there is nothing there you need, and you haven't opened it in two years, just let it go on July 31st, On the other hand, if you see some data you want to save, take 20 seconds to log in.

Samsung says the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 will be the thinnest and lightest foldable yet
Last week, Samsung teased the Galaxy Z Fold7 and claimed it would offer "an Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features." Today, the Korean brand dropped another teaser, telling us the Galaxy Z Fold7 is "built to last." Additionally, Samsung said the Galaxy Z Fold7 is the "thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet" without providing further details. While Samsung didn't explicitly mention the Galaxy Z Fold7, the teaser video, included below, confirms that Samsung is referring to the book-style foldable and not the clamshell Galaxy Z Flip7. There's no word from Samsung yet about when it will launch the 2025 foldables, but rumors claim these smartphones will be unveiled in mid-July.
