Cardi B Announces Her Sophomore Album "Am I The Drama?"
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Am I The Drama?, Cardi B's newest album, will finally be released on September 19. It's her first full length project since her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018. It has not been revealed yet what collaborators or special guest features will appear on the project. Bardi is back, everyone! Cardi B's fans have been waiting quite literally years for the anticipated follow up to her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy. Now it seems, the wait is finally over. On Monday, the Bronx-born rapper announced (to much internet fanfare) that her sophomore album titled Am I The Drama? will be released everywhere on September 19, 2025. In true Cardi B fashion, the accompanying album cover is already iconic. For the image, the rapper is dressed in a red bodysuit complete with a swooping attached hood, matching fishnet tights, and some majorly high platform pumps. To add to the drama, Cardi B is surrounded by flying crows and a cloudy sky while she strikes a pose. Cardi B teased the release one day prior for fans, releasing a teaser video clip that helped set the tone for what lies ahead for the upcoming album. Crows also appeared in the quick vignette, following Cardi as she struts through a romantic garden and even appearing on the bust of her black gown. She also released the first single from her sophomore effort last week, an upbeat single girls anthem titled 'Outside'. The rapper opened up to Rolling Stone last year about the long delay between her first album and Am I The Drama? stating that she wanted to ensure that the project she released would ultimately be up to not just her standards, but also fully reflect how she's evolved as an artist. She also welcomed three children with her now estranged husband, rapper Offset, in the time between Invasion of Privacy and now. 'I'm a different person every single day,' she told the outlet of the creative input that went into the record. 'When I'm in a good mood and I'm with my friends, [I'm] like, 'Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.' But then I might be mad with my man, so it's like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.' Here's to hoping it will be worth the wait. Watch this space for updates on Cardi B's second album. Margaret Cho Says Ellen DeGeneres Was ‘Really Weird and Not Nice' to Her
Margaret Cho described her strained relationship with Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on a new episode of The Kelly Mantle Show. The comedian said DeGeneres always treated her like a stranger when she came on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, despite the fact that they had been around each other for years. 'Ellen was really weird and not nice to me for most of my career,' Cho said on the show. 'I opened for her in the 1980s, when she was a headliner in comedy clubs. Later, when I would do her talk show in the 2000s, she would act like we just met.' More from Rolling Stone 'Weird Al' Yankovic, Margaret Cho, Bob the Drag Queen Lead 'Let's Get Wildfire Benefit Concert 'The Ellen Show' Staffers Say Ellen DeGeneres' New Netflix Special 'Missed the Mark' Ellen DeGeneres Jokes About Swapping 'Be Kind' Catchphrase for 'Go F-k Yourselves' in New Stand-Up Trailer She added, 'And I'm like, 'Bitch, what?' That's weird. We go way back. It's so creepy and weird.' Cho recalled a specific incident that stuck out to her as especially odd. David Bowie appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the day after one of his concerts, at which Cho dressed up in an elaborate 'Chinese emperor outfit.' Bowie complimented the costume to DeGeneres, but the remark was edited out of the final broadcast. 'The producer, who's a really good friend of mine, had to call me and tell me, 'I can't believe she did this, but she cut it out of the show,'' Cho explained. ''But you need to know that he was going on and on about your outfit. God said your name. He loves you.'' She admitted she wasn't sure if it was actually a vindictive move, but added, 'Still, I'm going to take it personally.' DeGeneres' image took a hit in 2020 following a series of reports by BuzzFeed News in which employees at her show alleged racism, sexual misconduct, and intimidation at the hands of executive producers. Three producers were fired because of it, and DeGeneres issued an on-air apology. In 2022, singer Greyson Chance, whom DeGeneres signed to her label, told Rolling Stone he had 'never met someone more manipulative, more self-centered, and more blatantly opportunistic.' The Ellen DeGeneres Show ultimately ended in 2022 after 19 seasons. The host has since addressed the controversy on tour and in a stand-up special, Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval, which aired on Netflix. 'The Be Kind Girl wasn't kind — that was the headline,' DeGeneres said in the special. 'Here's the problem, I'm a comedian who got a talk show, and I ended the show every day by saying, 'Be kind to one another.' Had I ended my show by saying, 'Go fuck yourselves,' people would've been pleasantly surprised to find out I'm kind.' Queens of the Stone Age announce ‘Catacombs Tour,' NYC show. Get tickets
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. There's no place like with Homme. Queens of the Stone Age announced they're striking out on their 2025 'The Catacombs Tour' in support of their recently-released five-song EP 'Alive In The Catacombs.' While out and about, the 'No One Knows' rockers will hit 'intimate' theaters and symphony halls all over North America from October through November. They're currently slated to close the first leg of the two-month U.S. and Canada fall run at New York City's Beacon Theatre on Friday, Oct. 10. The band shared on Instagram that these concerts will be 'a limited series of very special one-night-only evenings at a curated selection of North America's most historic theaters…comprised of all-new arrangements crafted specifically for the occasion and enhanced by assembled ensembles, the end result will be a precious few unique and intimate performances unlike any previous QOTSA tour.' At the moment, the Seattle natives are currently wrapping their ongoing 2023 'The End Is Nero Tour' — which was extended in February — after taking a brief respite in 2024 when the band cancelled (and subsequently rescheduled) a number of shows due to lead singer and frontman Josh Homme needing emergency surgery. Fans Cavepeople can purchase tickets for all upcoming Queens of the Stone Age shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for 'The Catacombs Tour' is Friday, June 27. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Queens of the Stone Age tour schedule 2025 A complete calendar including all North American (and a few European) dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below. Queens of the Stone Age set list Most recently, Homme and the band rocked Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion on June 21. According to Set List FM, here's what they took to the stage that night. 01.) 'A Song for the Deaf' 02.) 'No One Knows' 03.) '3's & 7's' 04.) 'Paper Machete' 05.) 'Smooth Sailing' 06.) 'My God Is the Sun' 07.) 'Emotion Sickness' 08.) 'If I Had a Tail' 09.) 'Time & Place' 10.) 'Carnavoyeur' 11.) 'Kalopsia' 12.) 'Misfit Love' 13.) 'Make It Wit Chu' 14.) 'I Sat by the Ocean' 15.) 'Little Sister' 16.) 'Go With the Flow' 17.) 'A Song for the Dead' Queens of the Stone Age new music On June 13, QotSA dropped the five-song EP 'Alive In The Catacombs.' The mini-album is a stripped-down, string-heavy vulnerable affair that starts slow before building to a softer climax than the group is typically known for. Think 2004 'Funeral' era Arcade Fire but led by Homme and you're not a million miles away from what the band is bringing to the table here. Standouts include the powerful, sea shanty-esque album opener 'Running Joke/Paper Machete,' gentle, lilting 'Kalopsia' and the pitter-patter-y 'I Never Came' closer. Each is unexpectedly beautiful in its own unique way. To hear for yourself, you can find 'Alive In The Catacombs' here. Huge rockers on tour in 2025 Prepare to jam out like never before.
