Talking about working on the Madhur Bhandarkar film, Arjan Bajwa said, 'In a very unfortunate accident, I had lost my father three months before (Fashion), and I was not sure if I wanted to come back to Mumbai and work in the movies again. Till then, I had done some work, but after some time, when things got a little normal at home, I decided to return. While I was in Delhi, I got a call from Madhur Bhandarkar's office, and they asked me to come and meet with them whenever I was in Mumbai. Two writers on the film were my friends. Madhurji knew me from before, and by then, I knew that Priyanka Chopra was doing the film. So I went and met them.' That meeting was good, but honestly, I was in a confused state at that time. My conscience was stuck because I had gone through such a tragedy at home. I was meeting everybody nicely, but I couldn't feel anything. Inside my heart, I was hurting; I was not in the right headspace. I was in my own space at that time.' During the interaction, Arjan Bajwa also spoke about his Fashion co-star Priyanka Chopra. 'Priyanka Chopra had once told me that she was not aware who was being cast, and at some point I had given them my audition for Gulaal, and she told me the entire team was watching some film at a theater in Andheri. When she asked who was cast for Manav's role, they showed her the Gulaal audition in the parking lot of the theater on a laptop. Later on, she told me she loved the audition, it was fantastic.' A post shared by SCREEN (@ieentertainment) Arjan Bajwa lastly revisited the day he and Priyanka Chopra bonded over their respective dads. He recalled, 'On set, Priyanka and I bonded over talking about our dads. Priyanka's father had been diagnosed with cancer at that time. Just 3-4 months back, my father had passed away, and we were just sitting and chit-chatting on the set one day. We started discussing our respective fathers. I told her my story, she was telling me her story, and I could feel the pressure she also had about her father's health, and how things were going to be. What would happen? I used to meet her father, Ashokji; he was a very nice man and very cordial, He would be very nice to me, but destiny has its plans.' Nicole Kidman On Her ‘Insane' Bond With Sandra Bullock: ‘We're Having The Best Time'

Last Updated: Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have an "insane" bond on Practical Magic 2 and are so close they feel "like sisters" in real life. Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have an 'insane" bond on Practical Magic 2. The two actresses have reprised their roles as sister witches Gillian and Sally Owens in the sequel to the 1998 classic, and the Big Little Lies star admitted she and her pal are 'like sisters" in real life and love poking fun at one another. She told People magazine: '[Our dynamic is] insane. I can tease her, and she teases me," Kidman, 58, explains, noting, 'We're both living in London, very close to each other… 'I adore her and she is so funny and so lovable. And we're just having the best time together." The 58-year-old actress admitted she and Sandra are thrilled to be playing the characters again after a 27-year absence. She said: 'We're both like, 'What?' But we were just right back into it." And it isn't only Sandra that Nicole has enjoyed working with on the movie. She added: 'We have this wonderful female director, Susanne Bier. Warner Bros. is behind the film. And they've been incredibly supportive in making this, going back and then expanding it. 'And then we have beautiful Joey King, who I've worked with before and who's just lovely. So it's a group of amazing, amazing women and some great men who are creating the next phase, the next stage of the witches' life." Meanwhile, Evan Rachel Wood recently revealed she won't be reprising her role as Kylie, Sandra's on-screen daughter, in the sequel, despite having asked about being part of the project. She wrote on Instagram Stories: 'I am getting asked about this a lot, so l'll just clear it up now; I was not asked to come back and be in the Practical Magic sequel. l offered my services, even if it was one scene or one line. I was told they are recasting. I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my control or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters." Bullock and Nicole Kidman are reprising their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who are descended from a long line of witches. Meanwhile, producer Denise Di Novi previously promised that fans will be 'very pleased" with the sequel, which will draw heavily from the source material – Alice Hoffman's 2021 novel The Book of Magic. She told Entertainment Weekly: 'I think (fans are) going to be very pleased. We're going to be very faithful. We're [aware of] how important those characters and that movie are to so many people. We're not going to reinvent the wheel. 'We're going to draw from Alice Hoffman's books, as the first movie did, and we're going to be true to the chronology of how many years later it is." Di Novi explained how the crew will 'be respectful to the characters, story, and locations" from the original picture. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. This actress ruled Bollywood for 21 years, then stepped away, now rumoured to return to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film after 6 years, her name is...

Bollywood's very own 'desi girl' Priyanka Chopra set social media abuzz with a recent throwback post on Instagram. The global star revisited her 2013 chartbuster Ram Chahe Leela from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela, sharing behind-the-scenes memories and praising the visionary director's artistry. The post has left fans wondering, is Priyanka ready to return to the big screen under Bhansali's direction once again? What Did Priyanka Reveal About Ram Chahe Leela? In her post, Priyanka confessed that when Bhansali first offered her the song, it was not an easy decision. However, his creative brilliance, depth of storytelling, and passion for music convinced her. She wrote, 'When he played me the song, I just knew — I was the one.' Priyanka also recalled how she and choreographer Vishnu Deva rehearsed even during lunch breaks to perfect each move. She credited cinematographer Ravi Varman for capturing the magic on screen, making the number unforgettable. Could Love & War Mark Her Return? Industry insiders suggest that Priyanka's post might be more than just a trip down memory lane. Talks are reportedly underway for her to collaborate with Bhansali on his upcoming big-budget project Love & War. The film already stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. If the buzz is true, Priyanka could appear in a special cameo or deliver a high-energy dance number — her first Bollywood appearance in years, and with the same director who once gave her an iconic screen moment. About Love & War Touted as one of Bhansali's most ambitious films yet, Love & War is set against a lavish backdrop with intense drama and high-octane face-offs, particularly between Ranbir and Vicky. Shooting has already begun, and the film is scheduled for a 2026 release. For now, there's no official confirmation, but Priyanka's fans are hoping the throwback is a subtle signal of her grand return to Hindi cinema.
