Mysterious Ring camera footage sparks alien speculation
Jessica Ortiz shared footage to social media showing what her Ring camera picked up outside her Compton home after dark.
The video appears to show an unusually-shaped figure walking next to the house.
"Someone ANYONE please explain to me what my Ring just caught. I'm not tripping right?" Ortiz wrote.
She said her son was equally perplexed by the footage.
"He sat up on his bed and he played it like three times," Ortiz told NBC Los Angeles. "When he was done on the third one, he was like, 'Mom, it's an alien. Call the police.' I was like, I'm not calling the police on an alien. I'd sound crazy."
Some commenters said the figure resembles an alien or another mysterious creature, while others speculated it could have been a person wearing a hat or a black-clad figure carrying a light-colored bag that showed up on camera as the silhouette of an extra-terrestrial.
The video reached more than 1 million views on Instagram, but Ortiz has yet to receive a definitive answer. She said her best guess is still alien activity.
"I think god is too creative for us to be the only ones with life," she said.

Who Is Florence Pugh's Fiancé, Finn Cole?
Rumor has it that Florence Pugh is secretly if you're thinking, 'I didn't even know Miss Flo was dating anyone!' you're not alone. The actress has been keeping her rumored relationship with fellow actor Finn Cole on the down-low since they were first spotted together last September, and according to The Sun, the pair is now engaged after just about a year of dating. Per a source: 'Finn and Florence have been in a bubble getting to know each other away from the spotlight. They are both putting everything into their careers but have found something special between them.' Hi, love that for them. Ofc, Flo still hasn't publicly confirmed that she and Finn are dating (much less whether or not they're engaged), buuuut if you're a fan of period dramas starring attractive people with accents, then you are well aware of him. Finn is best known for playing Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders, which he stars in alongside his brother Joe. But you might have also seen him on TNT's Animal Kingdom, a very important show that, frankly, we as a society are not talking about enough. Some facts about Finn?
