Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki join Once Upon A Time In Hollywood sequel
Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki have joined the cast of the new 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' movie.
The pair will join Brad Pitt in David Fincher's follow-up to Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film, which starred Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is unclear who Caan and Debicki will play in the upcoming movie.
The story is said to feature two key female roles, 'one who runs a bar and mud wrestling establishment and one a trophy wife' but it has not been revealed if Debicki will play once of these or an entirely new part.
It will be a reunion for Pitt and Caan, who previously worked together on the 'Ocean's' movie series.
Brad, 61, will reprise his role as stuntman Cliff Booth, in the upcoming film, which Fincher will direct for Netflix from a Tarantino script.
It's said that Tarantino retains the rights to the characters in 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood', while Sony - which financed and released the movie - retains the film itself, which is why the upcoming project is not seen as a sequel or prequel despite using the Booth character.
It's unclear if Leonardo DiCaprio will return as Western TV star Rick Dalton.
Tarantino won't be at the helm, which means the film won't count as his 10th and final film.
The director had had been set to reunite with Pitt - who also appeared in 'Inglourious Basterds in 2009 - for third collaboration on 'The Movie Critic.
According to Deadline, Tarantino has "simply changed his mind" after delaying production to rewrite the script.
Now, he's expected to go back to the drawing board in a bid to find a firm idea for what will be his final film.

Netflix made the announcement at its Tudum fan event, where it also announced the release dates and revealed new trailers and teasers for the third and final season of Korean hit Squid Game (released June 26), the film Happy Gilmore 2 (July 26), the third Knives Out movie, Wake Up Dead Man, starring Daniel Craig as private detective Benoit Blanc, will be released on December 13, and Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's new crime thriller The Rip (January 17). A teaser trailer for Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Frankenstein, starring Australia's Jacob Elordi as the monster, was also revealed, but there was no firm release date, other than saying it would be in November.

AJ McLean teases Liam Payne's unique final project Building the Band
AJ McLean says that Liam Payne's final project 'Building the Band' is "unlike anything you have ever seen before". The Backstreet Boys singer unveiled a first look at the new Netflix series - which was the late One Direction singer's last TV work before his tragic death aged 31 last October after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina - at the streamer's Tudum event on Saturday (31.05.25) and promised viewers that the show is unique. AJ, 47, said: "Today's most talented singers in the world will audition for each other and choose their own bandmates before ever seeing them. "Our judge and mentor Nicole Scherzinger, and guest judges Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne, are from some of the biggest bands of all time. This show is all about one word: chemistry. And believe me: in a band, you really need some good chemistry." 'Building the Band' was given the go ahead to air on Netflix earlier this year after officials at the streaming giant consulted with Liam's grieving relatives, although it is claimed that his loved ones were "surprised" by the announcement. A source told The Sun newspaper: "They spoke with Liam's family as they didn't want to progress the project without taking their feelings into consideration. "The family got the sense that this was a celebration of Liam, an image of positivity. He was doing what he did best as a true boyband star. "But they hadn't given it a final stamp of approval and as far as they were concerned were still discussing what the show would look like. So they were surprised by the announcement." Liam had completed filming for the series - which features singers looking to build a band despite being kept in separate booths so they can't see each other - several months before his death. A synopsis of the series explains: "All they [the contestants] have to go on is musical compatibility, connection, chemistry and merit ... with incredible performances, compelling drama, and one big goal - to find the next great music band - the stage is set for an unforgettable experience."
