Oreo fans go wild for new flavour inspired by a nostalgic chocolate bar

B&M has just dropped a game-changing treat that's sending UK snack lovers into a frenzy - and it's an unusual take on two much-loved sweet staples.
Imported all the way from Australia, these delectable biscuits are now gracing UK shelves, much to the delight of sweet-toothed Brits.
The Cadbury Caramilk Double Stuff Oreos reimagines the classic chocolatey Oreo cookie, but with a twist.
Two golden biscuits are sandwich with a caramelised white chocolate crème filling, proving for a more saccharine variant on the beloved delicacy. The melt-in-your-mouth experience is priced at £2.99 for a 131g pack.
Shoppers have been taking to social media to express their enthusiasm.
On the popular New Foods UK Facebook group, one foodie wrote: 'I don't like Oreos normally, but these I'd try.'
Many rushed to give their compliments, dubbing the treats 'absolute must-haves'.
'Best ones yet,' one fan penned.
The post racked up more than 2,600 reactions; however, not everyone was as enchanted - with one writing: 'OMG! Go away! I feel my blood sugar levels rising just looking at them.'
The buzz is undeniable, with many eager to get their hands on the biscuits.
This launch is part of a broader trend of unique snack offerings making their way to the UK.
Previously, B&M introduced the Australian-exclusive Cadbury Dairy Milk Lamington bar, which quickly became a fan favourite.
Sweet treat fans looking to indulge in something special should head over to the nearest B&M store.
But if caramel isn't your style, other flavour variations are sold by the bargain retailer as well, such as Cinnamon Roll, Mint and Neapolitan Double Stuff Oreos, Metro reported.
Popular Manchester-based food blogger John's Snack Reviews rated the new launch 9.5/10.
On Instagram, he said: 'Now these are a pack of biscuits! You could eat the pack in seconds they're that good!
'A decent Caramilk flavoured biscuit that does actually taste like Caramilk along with double stuffed Caramilk creme.
'It's nice because it's official Caramilk and not someone trying to copy the flavour.'
And Emily of food blog Snack Reviews Aus echoed the positive response, saying: 'I really like these. They actually taste really nice.
'Sometimes you just don't really want chocolate Oreos. This is a really nice alternative.'
A spokesperson for Mondelēz International — which owns Cadbury — previously said that the company had more to come soon.
They added that Mondelēz International and Lotus Bakeries (of Biscoff) planned to develop and market co-branded chocolate products in Europe, with the possibility of expanding into additional markets.

Wayne Carey gets a sordid new gig after fleeing the country due to scandalous 'toilet tryst' video that was the talk of the footy world

Wayne Carey will be making a meet-and-greet appearance at a strip club shortly after the furore over his appearance in a viral 'toilet tryst' video forced him to flee the country and left him with an embarrassing new nickname. The former North Melbourne star will be holding a 'meet and greet' with patrons at the After Dark Gentlemen's club in Geelong on Friday night. Described as a 'realm of seduction' on its website, After Dark bills itself as 'Geelong's top adult entertainment venue and strip club', with attendees able to see pole dancing and experience 'intimate controlled touching private dances'. Carey outed himself as the footy star who appeared in the viral video that was the talk of Melbourne last month. The footage showed the 54-year-old emerging from the bathroom at the trendy Toorak Cellars bar shortly after Kate Aston, a Melbourne marketing and communications executive, made her exit. A female voice is heard saying 'we've got you on camera' as the woman walks past, before asking 'What's he doing in there?' and remarking, 'She looks embarrassed.' The After Dark Gentlemen's Club is promoting the footy great's new gig just weeks after he was embroiled in a scandal over a viral video Carey and the woman depicted in the clip have lashed out over the video, with the ex-AFL star using his podcast to brand it 's**t shaming' and cyberbullying, with both parties insisting there was no 'tryst' in the toilets. Carey also said he contacted Victoria Police over the video. 'Being filmed without consent coming out of a public bathroom and then filming a complete stranger within a minute coming out of that public bathroom is NOT OK.. Then the persons who are filming adding their disgusting narrative and posting it on social media ruins lives …Enough,' he wrote on X. Carey - who was nicknamed 'Duck' during his playing days - revealed he has been called 'Toilet Duck' since the scandal broke. He also left Australia to get away from the furore, but refused to specify where he'd jetted off to, saying, 'No one knows where you are, and where I am, who I am. Just a beautiful part of the world, this is.' After Dark manager Jimmy Leschke said Carey is now back in Australia and confirmed he is still due to appear. Asked about Carey's ties to the club, Leschke told News Corp 'he was part of the opening of this place'. The two-time premiership winner remarked about the club opening on his podcast at the time, saying 'strip joints are part of a lot of towns, they employ a lot of people' and explaining he was 'going to poke my head in for about seven hours'. Carey did not hold back in his first barrage over the Toorak Cellars video when he confessed to being the man in the footage. 'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through about 10 different emotions in the last three days,' he said on Sam Newman's You Cannot Be Serious podcast. 'I've gone through disbelief, sadness, I've gone through anger. 'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy. 'And you've got two vile, disturbing, probably p**sed women who want to do this to another woman. 'That's all they were doing, they were s**t-shaming another woman. 'If two men had done that they would be raked over hot coals, it would be the biggest story going around. 'But because it's two women doing it to another woman … you don't know what's going on, this other woman has had all sorts of stuff going in her life, I've since found out. 'You talk about vile and disgusting, what they've done and who they have affected by a few sh**s and giggles drinking their chardonnay, sitting up there, doing whatever.

Travis Kelce's dad Ed opens up on Taylor Swift's 'beautiful' new album and his 'romantic' son's GQ cover

Ed Kelce has spoken out about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift 's impending podcast release in his first interview since the death of his long-term girlfriend Maureen Maguire. It has been a tough few weeks for the patriarch of the Kelce family, but he was on fine form for a surprise appearance on Australian television on Wednesday, speaking about Taylor's new album, and his son Travis' GQ cover shoot. When asked if he knew pop superstar Swift was dropping her 12th album - The Life of a Showgirl - Ed told Today: 'I knew nothing about this announcement... I knew at some point the boys wanted to get her on the podcast, but I didn't know when it was coming up.' When asked whether he had heard any of the top-secret new music from Taylor's impending album, he insisted: 'No I haven't, not at all', before adding: 'I know Taylor's been working pretty hard since she stopped the tour. 'She's taken some breaks to watch some football games, but she's been out in LA working on this album. My guess is that, although I haven't heard anything, it's going to be like everything else she does, it's going to be beautiful.' More to follow.
