Love Island has only hit screens but Tuesday night's opening twist had some viewers turning heads, and ruffled the feathers of others. Some of the cast members looked pleased with their choices, whereas others had a bit of an awkward first meet as one of the girls admitted she was only "fifty-fifty" about her match. Sadly, fans were less than impressed with the new format, which was branded "lame" on social media by viewers who insisted "I want out". One person hit out: "This is such a lame twist because there's no drama or mystery about who will end up with who." Another chimed in: "If this is the twist that is bigger than ever this year, I want out. It's not MAFS." A third moaned: "This twist has done the male islanders dirty, I'm expecting fit fitties coming out with these bios and then we got a load of understudies."
