Aluisi was due to attend his first training session at the club today after putting pen to paper on his contract.
But he suddenly fell ill yesterday and lost consciousness at home.
His mum was visiting at the time and immediately called an ambulance.
Unfortunately, medics were unable to save him.
A statement from ASD Castell'Azzara confirmed the devastating news.
It read: "We are deeply shaken by the tragic news of the passing of Luca Aluisi.
"The young man, 30, was ready to wear our jersey and begin this new sporting adventure with great enthusiasm.
"The club joins with heartfelt sympathy in the family's grief for the sudden loss of Luca.
"Our deepest condolences go to his loved ones.
"Every training session, every match, every goal: Luca will always be with us. Goodbye, Luca."
Massimo Natali, who is the president of the team Marta, added: "It's shocking news. He played with us since he was a child, always showing passion and dedication.
"He was a kind, sensitive boy, actively involved in local initiatives. His memory will live on in all of us."
Aluisi's father Marco works as a policeman in the area and the local mayor said in his tribute: "There are no words to ease a parent's pain.
"We offer a silent embrace to Marco and his family for this irreparable loss."

Chelsea's £26m sale of unwanted star hailed despite Enzo Maresca's transfer wish

Renato Veiga is set to join Villarreal with Chelsea banking a £14m profit for an unwanted defender signed last summer as Enzo Maresca hopes to welcome in new defenders It has been hailed as Chelsea's best bit of departing business since Clearlake Capital arrived as owners. Renato Veiga arrived from Basel months ago in a £12 million deal, made one Premier League start before heading to Juventus on loan and is now off to Villarreal for up to £26 million. ‌ That the defender's sale comes at a time when head coach Enzo Maresca has made it clear that he is keen to strengthen his backline following the season-long injury to Levi Colwill should still not come as a surprise. Benoit Badiashile is still on his way back from injury, though Tosin Adarabioyo is fit to feature against West Ham on Friday night, while several other fringe Chelsea stars are set to depart in the next 10 days. ‌ Italian coach Maresca had long made up his mind that Veiga was not of the standard required, despite claiming early last season that he valued the now senior Portugal international's versatility when using him further forward in the Europa Conference League ‌ But demanding more game time at his favourite position before heading on loan to Juve for the second half of the campaign did not help Veiga's cause either, with those requests leading to a dim view taken behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge. Asked midway through last season, shortly before he went on loan to Juve, if Veiga deserved more game time, Maresca joked: 'I said many times, I also want long hair, but we also have more than 20 players, 25 players, and they all want to play but it's not possible.' He then added that he valued the versatility of Veiga, 22, and stressed that his use in other roles led to a first senior national team call-up. 'We bought Renato from Basel, he arrived here, has played in different positions, played well, and this allowed him to join the national team for the first time in his life, the senior national team,' Maresca added at the time. 'Probably if he is not playing in his position, and also in the international team not playing in his position, it means he can do well, and we are very proud of all of our players who join their international teams but especially in this case, a young player who joins Chelsea, starts to play different positions, four or five different positions, that gives him the chance to join the national team so we are very proud about that. ‌ 'I had a chat with Renato and I said exactly the same thing I just say to you in terms of playing in the position he is playing with us gave him the chance to join the international team and also probably gave him the chance to get speculation around him so that means clubs are probably looking at him. 'Clubs are looking for players that are doing well, not that are doing bad. Players that are doing well with the club, with the international team, and as I said, for me, if there is a player who just wants to play in one position, they're going to struggle.' Veiga went on to make a dozen Serie A starts in Turin, earning rave reviews. His sale would take Chelsea's income from sales in this window to beyond £200m.

Why Turkey's football clubs can pay more cash for talent

FOUR OF THE five priciest transfers in European football this summer involved England's cash-soaked Premier League. The fifth was more unusual. Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker, left Napoli, the Italian champions, for Galatasaray in Turkey's Super Lig. The €75m ($87m) transfer fee was the biggest in Turkish history, more than triple the old record. Mr Osimhen will earn €15m a year after taxes, comparable to top players in England and Spain. Nor was it a one-off. Galatasaray and their crosstown rivals, Fenerbahce and Besiktas, have signed loan deals for high-profile players from Europe and even Saudi Arabia. Continental clubs are tightening belts. What is happening in Istanbul?

Leeds sign forward Noah Okafor on four-year deal from AC Milan

Okafor, who spent the latter part of last season on loan at Serie A champions Napoli, is Leeds' ninth summer signing following promotion to the Premier League. The club said: 'Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Noah Okafor on a four-year contract, subject to a work permit and international clearance. 🔥 Noah Okafor is Leeds! — Leeds United (@LUFC) August 21, 2025 'The 25-year-old arrives at Elland Road on a permanent deal from Italian giants AC Milan and can operate across the forward areas on either wing, or as a central striker when required to do so.' Okafor's arrival is expected to end Leeds' interest in Tottenham winger Manor Solomon, who played a starring role for Daniel Farke's Championship-winning side on loan last season. Leeds have now spent around £92million in total on new players since ending their two-year top-flight absence. Former Salzburg forward Okafor, right, has 24 caps for Switzerland John Walton/PA) Farke, who also wants to add a full-back to his squad, confirmed last week following the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin that he was hoping to further boost his attacking options and it remains to be seen whether Leeds are still in pursuit of another out-and-out striker. Okafor, who began his professional career at Basel, scored 34 goals and made 23 assists in 110 appearances for Salzburg before joining AC Milan in a £13.4m deal in July 2023. He scored seven goals and made five assists in two seasons at the Serie A club, which included his four-month loan spell at Napoli, and has 24 caps for Switzerland.
