Araqchi: Western countries' calls for Iran to exercise restraint absolutely unacceptable
Tehran – Saba:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has rejected calls for so-called "restraint," warning of the consequences of these policies.
He called for condemning the Zionist aggression and criticized the provocative positions of European countries against Iran.
According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, the Iranian Foreign Minister held separate phone calls with his counterparts in Britain, Australia, and India, during which he discussed the recent Zionist aggression against Iran and expressed his country's rejection of the Western positions, which he described as "provocative."
He emphasized that "Western countries' calls for Iran to exercise restraint are absolutely unacceptable," emphasizing that "Iran will respond with a crushing response to any aggression targeting its national security."
Araqchi warned of the consequences of continuing current Western policies and called on the international community to take a clear stance in condemning the Zionist aggression against Iran, which has resulted in the martyrdom of military leaders, officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
He pointed out that "the criminal Zionist aggression has diverted diplomacy and the negotiation process from its course," stressing that "Iran was engaged in a negotiating process before this escalation."

Iranian Armed Forces spokesman: Replacement commanders will continue martyrs' path
Tehran – Saba: Iranian Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said on Saturday that replacement commanders will continue the martyrs' path with vigor. Shekarchi added: "This is a miscalculation by the Zionist regime and its supporters, who believe they can weaken the armed forces by killing their commanders." Regarding the Zionist regime's claim that Iran targeted three residential areas in Operation True Promise 3, he said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA: "The fake Zionist regime attacked our residential areas yesterday morning, Friday, killing a large number of innocent people, including women and children. Therefore, this regime is considered a criminal usurper who attacked residential areas and killed innocent people." Shekarchi added: "The Zionist regime is completely incapable of intercepting our powerful and highly accurate missiles, which are capable of penetrating various Zionist defenses, even with the assistance of the regime's allies, especially the United States. Our missiles have bypassed these defenses several times, and the "True Promise 3" missile was launched with far greater destructive power. Therefore, these claims are the result of their inability." The Iranian Armed Forces spokesman continued: "If some of our missiles hit residential areas, it is because the Zionist regime created interference to divert the missiles' path from hitting military targets. This actually prevents our missiles from hitting military centers, especially the headquarters of the Zionist Ministry of Defense. Naturally, they were unsuccessful despite all these tricks." Baghaei: Tehran's decision to participate in next round of talks unclear
Tehran - Saba: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has stressed that it is unreasonable for Iran to wage such a war in the region without coordination or a green light from the United States, saying: "It is still unclear what decision we will make on Sunday regarding the next round of negotiations in this regard." Regarding Iran's decision to participate in the next round of negotiations with the United States despite the Zionist regime's aggression on the country, Baghaei said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA on Saturday: "The other side has emptied the negotiations of their meaning. You cannot simultaneously claim to be negotiating and engaging in dialogue to reach an understanding on an issue, while simultaneously dividing labor and allowing a racist regime to violate the country's territorial integrity." Baghhaei emphasized that Iran held the US government responsible for the consequences and repercussions of this ill-considered and illegal measure taken by the Zionist regime. He said: "It is still unclear what decision we will make on Sunday in this regard." He added: "The Zionist entity has always strived to drag Western countries into conflict and involvement in the region, and it appears to have succeeded this time as well, somehow influencing the diplomatic process with this adventure. This, in fact, demonstrates that American decision-makers are still deeply influenced by this entity." It is worth noting that the Zionist entity launched attacks on areas in Tehran and other cities across the country at dawn on Friday, and several residential buildings were bombed in these attacks. These attacks martyred the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami; the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri; the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh; the Member of Parliament and former Head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Fereydoun Abbasi; the Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia (PBUH) Headquarters, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid; and the nuclear scientist and President of Azadi University, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.
