Comfort-Loving Zoo Bear Filmed Turning Wheelbarrow into a Cozy Sunbathing Chair
The Memphis Zoo's black bear, River, used a wheelbarrow as a makeshift chair in a viral video
The 20-year-old bear is known for loving cozy spots and fall-inspired scents
The zoo shared the adorable clip on Aug. 5According to a black bear in Tennessee, where there's a wheelbarrow, there's always a way.
The Memphis Zoo, located in Memphis, Tenn., shared an adorable video of one of their black bears innovatively using a wheelbarrow as a plaything, and then a comfortable chair.
The video, posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 5, captures the bear, River, flipping over the wheelbarrow left in his habitat as enrichment before attempting to fit his entire body into the yellow carrier. After rotating around the make-shift furniture to find the most comfortable position, River leans his head back in his new chair to bask in the sun.
Commenters of the clip supported River in all of his relaxation activities. "Funnily enough, that is also how I look when I sit in this heat! Stay cool 🐻," wrote an Instagram user. Another added, "It's his little boat and he's sailing on the sea in his mind."
Amanda Moses, Memphis Zoo's marketing and communications manager, shared with PEOPLE that the 20-year-old bear was born on January 26 and weighs 519 pounds and is a known lover of all things comfort.

"He's got a nose for the cozy things in life and absolutely lives for fall-inspired scents like pumpkin and cinnamon enrichment that's as heartwarming as a [Pumpkin Spice Latte] on a crisp October morning," said Moses. "Memphis Zoo animals receive all kinds of creative enrichment from our care teams, and this was clearly a win."
It seems River knows how to have a good time and chooses the more soothing parts of life. However, the same cannot be said for another bear, who recently got her head stuck in a jar for 12 days.

According to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), obtained by PEOPLE, the 2-year-old female bear was spotted by multiple locals before U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Wildlife Services stepped in. The authorities used multiple live traps and a trained wildlife professional with a dart gun to immobilize the animal.
According to the DNR, the bear was sedated, and then the USDA Wildlife Services officials were able to cut off the plastic jar.
"Twelve days for a bear to be without food and not much water, it's impressive for the bear," said a local who spotted the bear and assisted with getting the animal help. "To be a part of its resolution was... definitely something that we can be happy we were there for it."

Louisiana attorney general sues Roblox
The attorney general of Louisiana has filed a lawsuit against Roblox, accusing the platform of failing to implement basic safety controls and making the site the 'perfect place for pedophiles.' The lawsuit, filed on Thursday by Attorney General Liz Murrill, alleges that Roblox 'has and continues to facilitate the distribution of child sexual abuse material and the sexual exploitation of Louisiana's children.' It also accuses the platform of purposely not rolling out basic safety controls to protect children from predators and failing to notify parents of risks. Roblox, which launched in 2006, has 82 million daily active users. The lawsuit notes that 20% of these users are under the age of 8, whereas another 20% are between the ages of 9 and 12. 'Due to Roblox's lack of safety protocols, it endangers the safety of the children of Louisiana,' Murrill said in a statement. 'Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety. Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger poised to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.' According to the lawsuit, adults can pose as children on Roblox, and children can bypass age requirements to access experiences meant for older users. The lawsuit points to several sexually explicit experiences that were on the platform, including 'Escape to Epstein Island,' 'Diddy Party,' and 'Public Bathroom Simulator Vibe.' A spokesperson for Roblox said that while the company can't comment on pending litigation, the platform dedicates 'substantial resources, including advanced technology and 24/7 human moderation, to help detect and prevent inappropriate content and behavior, including attempts to direct users off platform, where safety standards and moderation may be less stringent than ours.' San Francisco | REGISTER NOW 'While no system is perfect, Roblox has implemented rigorous technology and enforcement safeguards, including restrictions on sharing personal information, links, and user-to-user image sharing,' the spokesperson said. 'The safety of our community is a top priority.' Last year, Roblox launched a number of safety measures to protect children on its platform, including barring users under the age of 13 from sending direct messages. The measures were implemented following reports that Roblox was exposing young users to dangerous risks, such as grooming and explicit content. Murrill's lawsuit states that Roblox's recent safety measures were implemented too late and are inadequate. The lawsuit seeks permanent injunctive relief, prohibiting the company from claiming that it has adequate safety features and from engaging in any activity that would violate the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Rumor Teases a Major Role For Hulk and He Will Get "Angry" Again — GeekTyrant
Spider-Man: Brand New Day just got a whole lot more intense with a new rumor suggesting that Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is not only coming back, but possibly in his most rage-filled form yet… the return of 'Savage' Hulk. We've known for awhile now that Spider-Man: Brand New Day could throw The Hulk into the chaos, and now it's being reported that Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film, not just a quick cameo. Banner's presence is expected to be pivotal to the plot. According to insiders, "Banner's appearance will be much larger than a cameo, and Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film." Fans have been busy theorizing about how Hulk fits into the story. With Jon Bernthal already confirmed to return as Frank Castle/The Punisher, speculation is running wild that we might finally see the Smart Hulk persona step aside. Instead, we could get a brutal reawakening of the raging, destructive version of Hulk we haven't seen in years. Scooper MTTSH added more fuel to the fire, saying that we will 'finally get Angry Hulk back' in the movie. That doesn't necessarily mean we're getting a mindless, smashing machine, but it does strongly hint at the return of the more dangerous, less-controlled side of the character. Whether this is a temporary transformation or something that builds toward the rumored World War Hulk project is anyone's guess, but either way it sounds like things are going to get explosive with the character. While Spider-Man: Brand New Day centers on Tom Holland's Peter Parker, the addition of Hulk, and possibly a showdown between the two, is more than enough to get fans hyped. Throw in Michael Mando as Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion , Liza Colón-Zayas and Sadie Sink, in a mystery roles, and returning characters MJ and Ned played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, and the film is shaping up to be packed with interesting characters. There's also ongoing speculation about new characters from the Brand New Day comic arc, like Carlie Cooper or Lily Hollister (aka Menace), possibly making their debut. Production has officially kicked off. Holland recently shared some behind-the-scenes excitement: "It's day one — my fourth-ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it's funny. Putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. 'It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one, so it's really exciting to share this with them. We've got some familiar faces on set. You know, I'm just going to do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure." Marvel Studios will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters on July 31, 2026.
