Yahoo3 days ago
Fulham have seen their opening bid for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin rejected.
Marco Silva is desperate to bolster his attack this summer, with Kevin identified as a target. The 22-year-old scored nine goals and provided four assists in all competitions last season, and predominantly plays off the left flank.
Shakhtar sources say Fulham's opening offer was worth €30million (£26m) and, as expected, was turned down.
The Ukrainian giants are understood to be holding out for closer to their €50m (£43m) valuation for the Brazilian.
Fulham have also shown an interest in Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, who spent last season on loan with them.
Nelson is looking for a new club for the upcoming season and Arsenal are open to offers for him.
The winger's preference is thought to be staying in London and he would be happy to return to Fulham.
Fulham have been quiet in the transfer window so far, but their business is expected to ramp up over the coming weeks.
Marco Silva's side achieved a club-record number of Premier League points last season and they reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Silva is keen to kick on this season and achieve a top-half finish, with players in the squad eager to qualify for European football.

Harry Kane torn on what his favorite Bayern Munich goal has been so far

Ever since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Harry Kane has gone on to tally 85 goals and 26 assists from a total of 96 appearances across all competitions. He finally broke the club title duck last season by winning the Bundesliga title with Bayern and securing a second consecutive Torjägerkanone after finishing with 26 league goals. Despite have lost out to what was an incredibly impressive Bayer Leverkusen side under Xabi Alonso in the 2023/24 season, Kane had one of the best scoring seasons of his life, having netted 36 league goals and 44 across all competitions. Case in point, Kane has had absolutely zero difficulty transitioning from the Premier League to the Bundesliga and he has casually set scoring records in his first two seasons with the German Rekordmeister, though he's still out for Robert Lewandowski's single season Bundesliga record of 41 goals. Of the 85 goals that Kane has scored for Bayern, there have been some absolute beauties as well as match winners, momentum shifters, and goals with his right foot, left foot, and head. On the striker's Cleats Club app (via @iMiaSanMia), the England skipper answered the question of what his favorite Bayern goal is thus far that he's scored, and the striker couldn't decidec from two that stick out from the rest for him. 'I'd say it's between two. The halfway line goal against Darmstadt and my third goal against Augsburg, where Leon played it over the top and I took my touch in the air and then headed it home. Technically it was probably one of the best goals I've scored in my career. So yeah probably between these two,' Kane explained. The pair of goals are certainly worthy of being in his top 10 highlight reel, at least for his Bayern career so far, and they'll both go down in the annals of Bundesliga history. The halfway goal scored against Darmstadt in the 2023/24 season rivals David Beckham's infamous half-field strike against Wimbledon back in 1996, but Kane was, without a trace of doubt, several steps further back than Beckham was when he struck the ball. At the tie, Kane's wonder strike was one of three that he scored in Bayern's 8-0 routing of Darmstadt, who are back in the Bundesliga this season. For the goal against Augsburg from last season, Kane essentially did his best impression of the Bundesliga logo to take a touch to control the ball before calmly heading it past keeper Nediljko Labrović. What made that goal all the more special for Kane was that it completed his hat-trick on that particular evening.

"After my pulmonary embolism, no one wanted to sign me, but then LeBron called my agent" - Mirza Teletovic revealed a gentleman gesture by LeBron James

"After my pulmonary embolism, no one wanted to sign me, but then LeBron called my agent" - Mirza Teletovic revealed a gentleman gesture by LeBron James originally appeared on Basketball Network. In the summer of 2012, the Brooklyn Nets brought in the Bosnian national team player Mirza Teletovic. Arguably, the most elite player in the EuroLeague had just come off the best season of his career, averaging 21.7 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting an incredible 43.7 percent from three-point range. Standing at 6-foot-9, Teletovic moved very well on the court for his size, and his shooting hand was one of the best in Europe at the time. As the league was slowly entering the pace and space era, Teletovic seemed like a perfect fit as a stretch four. Although he had a few solid seasons in the league, fans will mostly remember him for his altercation with LeBron James. Teletovic confronted LeBron During the 2013-14 season, in the second quarter of one regular-season game, after a hard foul by Teletovic as LeBron drove to the basket, tensions flared when Teletovic stood his ground and stared down the four-time MVP. LeBron, visibly annoyed, confronted him, but the situation was quickly defused by teammates and referees. Even though the conflict ended there, LeBron didn't hold it against him and actually made an incredible gesture toward Teletovic during perhaps the toughest moments of his life. "Few people know who King James really is. After my pulmonary embolism, when no one wanted to sign me, he called my agent and offered for me to play with him in Cleveland," Teletovic commented on the NBA Hoopster Instagram profile. Teletovic never had an easy life The trade eventually didn't happen, but LeBron showed a phenomenal gesture despite the fact that he could have held a grudge against Teletovic for the on-court roughness. Still, what happens on the court stays on the court in the heat of the battle and LeBron's gesture is an excellent example of that. On the other hand, Teletovic never had an easy life. His country was at war for its independence when he was just a child. Years later, Teletovic, who went undrafted, shared his story about the journey before the NBA. "You don't know the situation at that time. You don't even have shoes. The basketball court is like 300 meters from my house. And all my friends and me are playing and then you hear the sirens like the grenades start falling down and just run to your house and hide. If I have to die, I die. For basketball, I will do anything," he recalled. LeBron is one of the greatest ever, both on and off the court The love and dedication Teletovic had for the game, the same game that brought him joy as a child and served as an escape from the harsh reality he faced, is nothing short of remarkable. Basketball was always his top priority throughout his career, and in the end, it rewarded him with a beautiful career in which he went toe to toe with some of the best to ever lace them up. In the end, Mirza overcame all of life's obstacles and now enjoys a well-deserved retirement. As for LeBron, this gesture confirmed that he is one of the greatest ever, both on and off the story was originally reported by Basketball Network on Aug 15, 2025, where it first appeared.

WATCH: Gunnar Helm with a great touchdown catch

It sure looks like the Tennessee Titans got a steal when they drafted Gunnar Helm in the fourth round. He has reportedly been really good in camp, and he made a really nice contested catch for a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons: Josh Norris of Undedog pointed out that Helm has been making plays like that dating back to his days at Texas: Helm is currently TE2 behind Chig Okonkwo, but if he keeps making plays like he did tonight, they are going to find a way to at least get both of those guys on the field – especially when you consider how thin they are at wide receiver. The touchdown throw came from Brandon Allen, who came on in relief of Cam Ward. Ward finished the night just 2 for 7 but had a beautiful throw to Van Jefferson that he dropped. I will have more on Ward's night later.
