Denise Richards Says Daughters Sami and Lola Sheen Are Not Allowed to Watch Her Film 'Wild Things' (Exclusive)

Yahoo22-02-2025

Denise Richards has one movie that's off limits to her daughters.
In PEOPLE's latest cover story, Richards, 54, opens up about how she feels if her children view her movies — and reveals why she'll never let them watch one of her most iconic roles.
"She sent me a picture not that long ago on the airplane [saying], 'Mom, you're in this movie,' and it was Drop Dead Gorgeous," Richards says of daughter Sami, 20, who adds, 'And I said, 'I'm finally watching one of your movies.'"
According to Sami, the experience was "really funny" but a bit "weird."

"I saw a lot of myself in her," she explains. "Just looks-wise. I don't know. I feel like we look a lot alike."
While Lola, 19, admits she's also seen Drop Dead Gorgeous on a separate occasion when she was younger, watching her parents on film has always been an odd experience for her.
'I really admire what they do, of course, but I don't watch their movies just with my friends. My dad [Charlie Sheen], though, I've seen a couple episodes of Two and a Half Men, but that's really it," she says, before addressing her mother. "But think about it, if your mom or your parents did that when you were younger, you wouldn't [watch either]."

"It takes the magic away from it," Sami adds. "It's also hard to enjoy the movie and really put myself in the movie when I'm like, 'Oh, there's my mom.'"
While Richards has no issue with her daughters discovering her long list of films and television shows, one movie the girls are "never" allowed to watch is her 1998 thriller, Wild Things.'You've always told me not to," Sami tells her mother. "Even though it's the most talked [about]... it's the name of our freaking reality show, [Denise Richards and Her Wild Things]."

'I know, but yeah, the answer is no, not to ever see that again or ever," Richards laughs. 'If there's maybe a PG version, then she can, but I don't even know how they would make it a PG version."
Either way, Richards can rest easy because Sami has "no interest" in watching the erotic thriller.'I've dealt with kids showing me pictures of my mom and weird s--- all through high school and stuff," she adds.

Sami, Lola and their sister Eloise, 13, will join their mom on camera for Bravo's new reality show, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.
'I've always said we need a reality show,' says Sami. 'Anything that went wrong or happened in our family, I would say, 'Where are the cameras? We need to be filming this.''
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things premieres with two back-to-back half-hour episodes on Tuesday, March 4 on Bravo.

‘RHOA' Reunion Drama: Kenya Moore ‘Not Invited,' Brit Eady Not In Attendance + The Seating Chart

Source: Prince Williams / Getty The current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is coming to an end, which means that the reunion is just around the corner, but when the season wrap-up airs on Bravo, two faces from the cast will be noticeably absent. Both Brit Eady and Kenya Moore (amidst their bitter feud) did not attend the recent taping. Per People , the reunion recently filmed on Thursday, June 5, in Atlanta, and while Moore not being present is that shocking, Eady's absence definitely is, as she was a main focal point of the season. According to the outlet, Eady's decision not to attend was her own, but Moore was reportedly not invited by Bravo. Confirming the reports, the network released the RHOA reunion seating chart and neither of the ladies were present. 'RHOA' Reunion Taping Following the reports of their absence, both Eady and Moore spoke out on social media. 'As everyone is now aware, I'm not attending the reunion,' Eady wrote on Instagram Stories. 'This was my decision. The events of this season have devastated me, and while I cannot say much right now, I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me.' 'Based on what I was told, assumed that it was somehow a photo of me — which is why I reacted in the way that I did,' she continued. 'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,' she said. 'I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life.' Meanwhile Moore took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to her absence. 'I'm disappointed to not be a part of the RHOA 16 reunion taping today,' Moore wrote. 'Please know that I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers. I look forward to seeing you all back on Bravo soon.' Source: Prince Williams / Getty Long before the 16th season of the series began airing in March, the tea about what happened during filming was spilled when it was revealed that Moore had been fired just a few weeks into filming for sharing explicit photos of new cast member Eady at Moore's hair spa opening. Once the season began airing, and fans finally got to see the explicit photo saga play out on TV, both Eady and Moore went back and forth online and in interviews — heating up the drama between them repeatedly. As of now, there is no official release date for the RHOA season 16 reunion, but it is expected to air sometime in the coming weeks. Brit Eady Blasts Bravo With $20M Lawsuit Over 'Fake Sex Act' Poster

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Brit Eady has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo, claiming the network aired and promoted a false and damaging image that appeared to show her performing a sexual act. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Eady alleges that promotional posters handed out by Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore during her salon opening in June 2024 falsely depicted Eady engaging in oral sex. Although Eady did not attend the event, she says she was blindsided by the image once it surfaced publicly, a moment that sparked immediate outrage and controversy. Following the incident, Moore was reportedly removed from the cast. RELATED: The Shade Assassin: Kenya Moore's Best 'RHOA' Moments Eady's lawsuit names Bravo, NBCUniversal, and the production companies Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America. She accuses them of defamation, sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and fostering a hostile work environment. According to the suit, Bravo knowingly contributed to what Eady calls a 'gendered attack' and continued to air footage and cast commentary about the situation in an episode that aired in April 2025. The lawsuit also asserts that Bravo forced Eady to return to work despite the emotional toll the incident took on her. She claims she was subjected to offensive, sexualized behavior and remarks, making it difficult to continue working in that environment. Eady is now demanding the episode be removed from all platforms and is seeking at least $20 million in damages. She also publicly addressed the controversy on social media, denying she was the woman in the photo and confirming that she skipped the season's reunion taping. Wife of Last Sibling of World's First Surviving Male Quadruplets Remembers Him as ‘Wonderful Family Man' (Exclusive)

Carl Vincent Perricone Sr., the last surviving brother of a history-making set of quadruplets, died on June 2 Anne, his wife of 58 years, remembered the father of six as 'a wonderful family man' Carl would still ride on his lawnmower at the age of 95 and enjoy quality time with his wife on their porchThe wife of Carl Vincent Perricone Sr., the last surviving sibling of a history-making set of quadruplets who recently died, is cherishing her memories with him. 'He was a wonderful family man,' Anne Perricone, 77, exclusively tells PEOPLE of Carl, who died on June 2 at the age of 95. Anne said their journey began when he was a father of five and a widower at 27 after his first wife tragically died following rheumatic fever. They met when she lived across the street and cared for his children. 'I babysat the children and fell in love with the children and him,' Anne says. They would go on to marry, have a daughter, and remain committed to each other for 58 years. They would have celebrated their 59th anniversary in August, most likely partaking in a familiar pastime. 'Oh gosh. He always brought me out there, glass of wine to have an afternoon on the porch,' she says. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Five years ago, Anne says she and Carl moved to their daughter's home, and the longtime couple 'enjoyed sitting out here watching the birds. He loved watching the birds. He has a bird feeder out there watching the birds and the animals.' His valor as a father and husband also extended to his service to his country alongside his brothers Anthony, Bernard, and Donald Perricone, affectionately known as the Alphabet Quads. They were born in Beaumont, Texas, on Halloween in 1929 to Maria Concetta "Bessie" Mazzu and Philip 'Filippo' Perricone. They were the first surviving male quadruplets in the world, according to the Museum of the Gulf Coast. Their births made headlines, and so did their decision to be drafted into the Army in 1950 during the Korean War. The mother of the quads contacted then-Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson with the insistence, ' 'You can't just take one of my boys. They've always been together,' ' Anna says. The brothers ultimately served in the same unit. 'He was proud of his service,' she says, continuing that he also served in the Air Force. Upon returning home in 1953, the brothers worked together at Pure Oil Refinery before Anthony decided to become a barber. Carl and his two brothers remained at the company until retirement, according to the museum. The quadruplets eventually bought a parcel of land in their hometown and dubbed the private road Quad Lane, where their descendants still live. In 2010, Carl represented himself, his brothers and his country at a ceremony in South Korea commemorating the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, per the museum. Despite his strong bond with his brothers, Carl did not always want to be associated with being part of the famed quad. 'They were so publicly displayed for so long. He got tired of all that. He did grant an interview probably about seven years ago after Donald died. Yeah, it's been longer than that, my daughter said. But anyway, we kind of just backed away from it,' she recalls, but he ultimately granted an interview with The Beaumont Enterprise in 2013. She continues, 'We all sat down with the people in the living room and he just told them about missing his brothers.' The news of his death led to an outpouring of condolences, but Anne says that he was 'very healthy,' and that 'no one could believe' he was 95. 'He would walk out here and go ride his lawnmower and cut grass and he was very healthy. But in the last few months, I guess I'd say he took a couple stumbles up here. He didn't break anything or he hit his head on the porch one time, but he was pretty stable with his feet,' she says. is now available in the Apple App Store! Carl's obituary said that he "enjoyed country life in his final years, watching wildlife and smoking his pipe, and Anne added that their last days together were spent "together up here in the peace.' In addition to Anne, Carl is also survived by his six children and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Read the original article on People
