Amongst the praises that she's been receiving, there was one who stood out the most, it was her rumoured boyfriend, Sam Merchant's reaction.
Taking to his Instagram story, Sam reposted the announcement post, along with a clapping hands emoji.
Earlier,
Deepika Padukone
was set to star in the movie, alongside Prabhas, but she left due to undisclosed reasons.
Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Verma has praised Sandeep Ready Vanga, for his decision to cast Tripti in the role.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) he wrote, 'Hey @imvangasandeep Going by both her tremendous screen presence and performance which you showcased in ANIMAL , I think your decision will make her the NEXT BIG THING IN BOLLWOOD far beyond the current BIGGIES …CONGRAAATS @tripti_dimri23 High Time for your SPIRIT to FLY into the SKY."
On Saturday, Tripti took her social media handle to announce that she has been cast in the lead role in the much-awaited, Spirit. She uploaded the poster and wrote her name in various Indian and international languages. To express her gratitude Tripti wrote, 'Still sinking in… So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga… Honoured to be a part of your vision."
Sandeep Reddy Vanga also used his social media platforms to welcome Tripti on-board. Sharing the announcement poster, he wrote, 'The female lead for my film is now official :-)"
This movie marks Prabhas and Triptii's first on-screen collaboration, an exciting pairing that is sure to spark a lot of attention from both the public and the industry at large.
