Influencer slammed for riding a scooter without a helmet after brain aneurysm and multiple surgeries: 'It makes my blood boil'
The fitness influencer, 35, has had two brain surgeries over the past 12 months after she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm in June.
Photos of Ashy, shared to the Outspoken Podcast community Facebook page, show Ashy enjoying the sights of Bali with pal and podcast co-host Tijana Bundalo.
However, the photos show the pair dangerously balancing on the back of a scooter, both not wearing helmets.
A second photo also shows Ashy on the back of the scooter without any head protection and beaming broadly.
Commenters were quick to issue their anger, slamming Ashy for being irresponsible.
'Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity,' one fan wrote referencing a quite from Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
'Can't be surprised really, a few months ago she and her new bestie decided to hang their half bodies out of a moving car and film themselves in the process.
'Unfortunately Ashy - Peter Pan - Bines will continue to do moronic things until her actions have consequences.'
The angry commenter continued: 'There's genuinely no way that 1 million people are silly enough to actually follow and look up to this almost 40 year old mother of 2 who insists on behaving like a child-free 21 year old.'
Another jumped in with: 'Ashy Bines. 2x brain surgeries of late, speaks about how grateful she is to survive on a podcast released only yesterday. But...wears no helmet while riding on the back of a motorcycle twice in Bali in the space of 24 hours.
'Why are influencers this dumb? How many people have died or suffered serious injuries doing this?'
A third offered: 'I just can't when people do this...it makes my blood boil! So ridiculously stupid.
Yet another commenter was more succinct in their scathing assessment of the mum-of-two.
Commenters were quick to issue their anger, slamming Ashy for being irresponsible
'Not a thought behind those eyes,' they wrote.
According to Bali.com: 'Beside the 'Bali Belly', scooter accidents are probably the most common 'problem' travellers experience in Bali and in that sense, it's also the most dangerous activity – but mostly self-induced, and sometimes even fatal.'
Never one to shy away from courting social media controversy, Ashy was also called out in February after posting a video to TikTok that showed her hanging out of the window of a moving car.
Appearing not to have a seat belt on, Ashy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, stuck her head through the open window before leaning out backwards at shoulder height.
Viewers of the deleted clip were not amused by what they saw, with several comments condemning the act.
'Normally I'd just think "idiot" but if she has a million followers, it's really poor form to influence those who are vulnerable to copying such stupidity,' one person said.
'My old babysitter's son died by doing this, I'll never understand how some people truly think they're invincible,' one more wrote.
'I know of someone who got beheaded doing something similar,' added another.
It comes after Ashy shocked her followers in March when she revealed her brain aneurysm diagnosis.
She was rushed to hospital after experiencing sudden loss of vision, with surgery being scheduled in July before it was pushed back to August.
Ashy revealed that surgeons removed the first aneurysm, but discovered a second that they were unable to remove in the process.
'I had my surgery, and it went really well. However, when I woke up, they told me the news that they actually found and discovered another aneurysm,' she told her followers in an emotional clip.
'So they treated the original one today, but they couldn't treat the second one, and I will most likely have to have another surgery before the year's out.'
Ashy went under the knife again in January telling followers at the time: 'I'm HOME. Survived my second brain surgery and ready to leave this chapter in the past.
'Grateful for my surgeon , the nurses , my family , friends and community who kept me so strong and supported to get through it all, don't know how I'd get through something like that without them!!'

I was gobsmacked when my friend got dress-coded at the pool for wearing a BIKINI by a woman in the same outfit
WHEN the summer is as hot as it has been, it's normal to want to cool down in the pool. For women, that often means sporting a bikini while relaxing by the pool. 2 But it seems not everyone is a fan of the two-piece as two friends were left gobsmacked after being dress-coded for their bikinis. Ashleigh managed to film part of the incident which saw a woman shout at the pair for being 'inappropriate'. The woman told the ladies they wouldn't be coming back to the pool and went on to call the cops, according to Ashleigh. While the woman was aggravated by their outfits, it came as a shock to the girls as she was also wearing a bikini. Ashleigh's friend even went to get shorts to try and defuse the situation but it was too late. The woman had called the cops who arrived to the community pool to see what was going on. Despite the woman's fury, nothing was done. "My friend was wearing a bikini and this 'Karen' decided to call the cops to try and escort us out," Ashleigh said. "The cop told us if she didn't like her bathing suit she could leave!" After Ashleigh and her friend stayed in the pool, and were able to laugh the situation off. I only have one dress to wear to my grandad's funeral but worry it's too booby - trolls agree & say I'm 'disrespectful' The clip has gone viral on her TikTok account @ its_ashelizabeth with over 19 million views and 962k likes. People were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts. One person wrote: "The lady in the bikini called the cops on someone for wearing a bikini?" Another commented: "Is there a dress code for the community pool? Sometimes there is." "I'm assuming it was inappropriate just for the fact that the lady that's bothered by it is in a bikini as well," penned a third. According to Boux Avenue the best swimwear for pears shapes is a high-cut style to add length to your legs or a bold high-leg swimsuit For those with a straight body type, the underwear brand suggests a ruched swimwear option to create shape, and emphasise your legs. Lewis Capaldi sends tear-jerking message to fans after joining Noah Kahan for surprise Hyde Park performance
Lewis Capaldi wore a Chelsea FC strip while performing a rendition of 'Northern Attitude' with the American singer Lewis Capaldi delivered an emotional message to fans during Noah Kahan's concert in Hyde Park on Friday night, when he appeared on stage alongside the famed US singer to the surprise of gig-goers. The 28-year-old Scots singing sensation, who has been open about his mental health struggles, made a triumphant return to the stage after a hiatus, performing 'Northern Attitude' alongside Kahan. After his dazzling comeback at Glastonbury last week, where he had previously been unable to complete his set due to his Tourette's diagnosis, Lewis surprised attendees at BST by expressing his joy at being back. The artist, who burst onto the stage to join Kahan for the hit, which he normally sings alongside Irish musician Hozier, shared with the audience the success of his latest single, Survive. "Survive is this week's UK Number One, and I want to say a massive thank you to everybody who's been streaming it, downloading it," Capaldi told the packed crowd. "It really means the world." Grateful for the warm reception, he added: "I've been away for a little while and to come back to this outpouring of love and support has been absolutely incredible. "I can't thank everybody enough for all the kind words since Glastonbury - and now this! It's been the best week of my life. I hope you continue to enjoy the song, it means a lot to me." Capaldi hilariously matched Kahan's outfit, donning a Chelsea FC shirt and wearing a plaited wig to match his hair. Fans couldn't believe their eyes, with one writing on TikTok: "Lewis is popping up everywhere and I'm so here for it," and another scribing: "There is nothing he can't do. I am so pleased to see this lad's comeback." A third tweeted jokingly: "The world is healing." After an emotional performance at Glastonbury last week, Lewis has seen his latest album 'Survive' fly off the shelves, selling a staggering 68,500 copies in its opening week, including over four million streams. This feat eclipses his previous record of 56,000 with the 2022 hit 'Forget Me'. The artist, who has been candid about his diagnosis with Tourette syndrome, had to withdraw from Glastonbury two years prior, explaining to his followers: "I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order." Later that year, Lewis updated his fans, stating: "I'm currently taking some time off to focus on my health and wellbeing and it's been going great!" Following his triumphant return last week, it has now been confirmed that Lewis is set to embark on a tour across the UK and Ireland later this year. The singer will grace the stage in ten cities, including Glasgow and Aberdeen. Launching his first headline tour in over two years, Lewis will begin in Sheffield on September 7, with the tour wrapping up in Dublin on September 29. The 'Hold Me While You Wait' singer's itinerary also includes two performances at London's O2, with additional stops in Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, and Cardiff. ‘I tried out a pair of 'pyjama jeans' and now I can't go back to regular denim'
Mirror's shopping writer Grace put a pair of "pyjama jeans" from a Taylor Swift-approved viral brand to the test to see if they could live up to proper denim Denim is easily the most-worn fabric in my wardrobe, especially through spring and summer. I love a good pair of jeans and am forever searching for the perfect fit. Even though I reach for them almost daily, I've been finding them increasingly uncomfortable lately. However, I'm still not ready to give them up. I tested out a pair of"pyjama jeans" from River Island earlier this year, and couldn't believe just how comfy they were. And now I've found another pair that are potentially even comfier, while still looking like a normal pair of denim jeans. The style in question are the Halara Flex™ Asymmetric Low Rise Baggy Wide Leg Jeans, currently on sale for £39.95 down from £58.95. I hadn't heard too much about this brand before trying them out, but they actually have the Taylor Swift seal of approval. Taylor Swift made her first Coachella appearance in six years with her beau Travis Kelce in 2024 and was spotted wearing a TikTok viral £40 skirt. The Breezeful™ High Waisted Pleated 2-in-1 Side Pocket Skirt from Halara gained a huge cult following on TikTok last year thanks to its unusual garter detail. The brand is mostly known for its activewear and loungewear, so it's no suprise to seem them branching out into denim while keeping comfort at the forefront. When I first opened up the asymmetric jeans, I was a little skeptical as they felt so soft and stretchy, just like a pair of jogging bottoms, and so I was unsure if they would even look like jeans on. However, as I soon as I slipped into them I had my mind changed. They honestly looked just as good as other denim pieces I own, but felt ten times comfier. I also appreciated the asymmetric button detailing, as previous pyjama-style denim I've tried have kept it pretty simple with design details. But Halara has so many trendy styles to choose from in the Flex Range, from cargo-style jeans to maxi skirts and trendy corset waistcoats. My only criticims would be that the inside and outside button feel a little flimsy, like they could ping off easily. Despite this, however, I have worn the jeans multiple times and all buttons are still in tact. If you want to test out the OG "sweatpant jeans" Rag and Bone's Miramar Wide-Leg Jeans are available to shop on Selfridge's for £195. Alternatively, New Look has some Blue Drawstring Waist Denim Trousers for £26.99 that feel as comfy as trousers but have a denim-effect.
