While Division 2 of the Panda Under-21 football championship on Wednesday was dominated by games that weren't played, the value of getting a team out there where at all possible was shown in the clashes that did take place, with a couple of quality match-ups.
Rivalling St. Mary's (Maudlintown) and Shelmaliers from the higher grade for game of the round was Réalt na Mara against Blackwater, which went all the way through extra-time before the visiting Over The Water club emerged with their spot in the Division 2 Cup knockouts.
