TOPSHOP is officially back, and it has chosen one of the UK's most iconic fashion destinations for its big return to the high street.
The British brand, once a staple for teens and twenty-somethings, has confirmed Liberty will be its first UK stockist.

The news was teased on social media with a short video showing the famous Liberty façade and W1 postcode, sparking frenzied speculation among fans.
Liberty later confirmed the collaboration, with its group buying and merchandising director Lydia King describing the partnership as 'really exciting,' referencing the nostalgia surrounding Topshop's cultural heyday in London.
It marks the first time in four years that shoppers will be able to buy Topshop clothing in a UK store, after the collapse of Arcadia and its 2021 takeover by Asos forced the chain entirely online.
The comeback follows last week's relaunch of Topshop's standalone website, separate from Asos, with a 40-piece collection fronted by model Cara Delevingne.
The line, featuring fresh staples, was showcased in a fashion show at London's Trafalgar Square and was Topshop's first runway outing since 2018.
Fans can also shop old favourites like its much-loved skinny jeans.
Internationally, Topshop is re-establishing itself through partnerships with Irish department stores McElhinneys and Shaws, France's Printemps and Denmark's Magasin du Nord.
But the Liberty tie-up is the brand's most significant move yet, signalling its official return to the British high street.
Michelle Wilson, managing director of Topshop and Topman, had hinted earlier this year that the brand was planning a 'semi-permanent presence' in the UK.
She also stressed the new era of Topshop won't be a copy of the old model, but a reimagined brand fit for 2025, aiming to compete in today's fast-changing fashion landscape.

The rise of e-commerce and the shift in consumer behavior towards online shopping caught the brand off guard.
While competitors like Zara and H&M quickly adapted to the digital landscape, Topshop struggled to keep pace.
Additionally, the brand faced criticism for its fast fashion model, which became increasingly scrutinised for its environmental impact and labour practices.
The rise of more ethical and sustainable fashion brands further eroded Topshop's market share.
Financial troubles began to surface within the Arcadia Group, exacerbated by Sir Philip Green's controversial business practices and personal scandals.
In 2019, Arcadia Group entered a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) to restructure its debts, leading to the closure of several Topshop stores.
Now, with Liberty on board and a brand-new website up and running, the label that once defined a generation is banking on nostalgia and reinvention to win back shoppers.

Mr Loach spoke out against 'the sheer horror of what we are witnessing' in Palestine, as well as 'the tolerance of it'. He said: 'I remember as a nine-year-old seeing the pictures from when Belsen concentration camp was revealed, it was relieved by the allied troops, and you saw these figures kind of next to death against the concentration camp wires, and those images stayed with me all my life. "There's a legal responsibility on them under the genocide convention to prevent genocide - they are not doing that. They're in breach of international law. "And the ban against Palestine Action is to intimidate anyone who opposes them, and the suppression of Palestine Action is a legal monstrosity, and we have to oppose that ban. He added: "We are being governed by politicians who seem to have no respect for international law, no moral compass, and the people have to rise against them. It is intolerable."

B&M shoppers left divided after discovery on shelves that's 'ruining Christmas'

However some planners are already thinking about Christmas 2025 as B&M launches festive products in store, four months in advance. Typically, advent calendars start to show up in shops around mid-September. However, B&M Bargains has jumped the gun and shoppers recently spotted a range of the countdown Christmas calendars in stores. Popular food social media page, New Foods UK, shared what's on offer after spotting a Kinder Bueno advent calendar, a Swizzels Squashies advent calendar, and a Haribo 'glow in the dark' advent calendar. Also available to buy is a Christmas eve chocolate treat box, as well as a range of Christmas biscuits. Speaking about the Squashies calendar, one individual said: "Will be checking my local one today! Spotted it once last year then when I went back for it, all gone, checked so many stores." Another wrote: "B&M in Peterborough have loads of all sorts. I'm glad there out yes it's early and I made my life choices and had eight kids I work and three grandkids so this helps me loads. Be prepared. Also love love love Christmas." Someone else said: "We were in our B&M the other day discussing what advent calendar to get this year!" "This is your three month reminder," said another as they tagged a friend. "Omg yes this is a need," said one other. "My calendar of choice this year," commented another about the Kinder Bueno calendar. But other people were left frustrated by how early the advent calendars have come out. Another individual noted: "Hate to be 'that person' but these being brought out in August/September just makes the Christmas season less enjoyable when it eventually comes around." One other agreed: "But things out far to early it spoils all the fun for Christmas." Another said: "It's August. We're still in summer, we haven't even had Halloween yet." One other added: "Omg haven't even got summer out the way yet." "No too early, let us enjoy the summer," said one other. "It's too early," commented another. According to B&M's website, the advent calendars are not available to buy online but can be found in stores around the UK.
