When the two went out together for the New York City premiere last night, this time with their children, the rumors reached a new level.
Liam brought his sons, Daniel (28) and Michael (30), whom he shared with the late Natasha Richardson. Brandon (age 29) and Dylan (age 27), Pamela's sons with Tommy Lee, joined her.
Pamela and Liam respond to rumors that they are dating.
BuzzFeed claims that the six of them smiled and talked as they posed for pictures together in front of The Naked Gun posters, which only fueled rumors.
Liam and Pamela teased the cameras by pretending to kiss during an Entertainment Tonight interview.
When they appeared today on the following morning, they increased the fun. "What's the deal? ... Are you two an item?" was the direct question posed by host Craig Melvin. The two joked around as if they had not heard the question, rather than providing a direct response.
Liam then responded with a more thought-out, if somewhat cryptic, statement.
'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry—as two actors,' he said. 'It's like, 'Oh, this is nice. Let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe.' And that's what we did," he stated.
Craig, in the meantime, stated, 'We're watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship… America's here for it.' Pamela has been just as coy. Back in May, she told Entertainment Weekly that their relationship was 'professionally romantic.'
