Keeley joined the Hatters on July 19 for a fee in the region of £1million after a three-year spell on Spurs' books.
The 22-year-old Irishman never played for the north London club but, after successful loans at Barnet and Leyton Orient, holds a strong belief that he can become a top-flight keeper ahead of his competitive debut for Luton in Friday's League One opener at home to Wimbledon.

'Being in the club for three years was amazing for me. Obviously I got a taste of being around the first team and what is is like to play in the Premier League,' Keeley told the PA news agency.
'I used to train with the boys all week, so I know and I have got a gist of what it is like. Hopefully in the foreseeable I get myself back there (in the Premier League).
'Luton have very high expectations. Obviously being a Premier League club (in 2023-24), we have got every aim to get promoted to the Championship first and then after that we can worry about going up again.
'This season is important. It starts this week, everyone is looking forward to it and hopefully we can push for promotion.'
Keeley arrived at a Luton team reeling from back-to-back relegations, but off the back of his own stellar 2024-25 campaign.

The ex-St Patrick's goalkeeper flourished at Orient in League One, keeping 16 clean sheets to help them make the play-off final at Wembley – where they lost 1-0 to Charlton – and the FA Cup fourth round.
Keeley made headlines with his cup exploits, remarkably scoring against Oldham in November before starring in a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, but talks over a new deal at Tottenham this summer stalled and he decided to find a permanent home.
Ex-Luton player and currently Spurs first-team assistant goalkeeper coach Dean Brill sold his old club to Keeley, who ended up making his debut in a 0-0 pre-season friendly against Tottenham last weekend.
Keeley added: 'It was kind of a quick turnaround for me during the week, so I didn't get to say bye to everyone, but yeah, I got to say bye to everyone (on Saturday), so that was good.
'Obviously I spoke with Dean Brill, the goalie coach. He played here as well and he sold it to me. He told me it was a great club and the people here are very good people.'
Now Keeley has signed up to help Luton's bid for an instant return to the Championship, he is determined to make Kenilworth Road a fortress again – starting with Friday's visit of Wimbledon.
'I have heard a lot of things over the last couple of years, that it is a bit of a mad place to come,' Keeley said.
'My mates always used to say to me, because a few of them support Premier League teams, they have Luton away next week and they'd all say they're not looking forward to it, so it can definitely be a fortress.'
The Hatters' often raucous stadium, where the unusual entrance for away fans at the Oak Road End is on a row of terraced houses, was built in 1905 and has a capacity of 12,056.
He added: 'It can definitely be a place where people will struggle to come and get points from, so hopefully we can make it that way.'

Alan Shearer in complete disagreement after Man Utd target Benjamin Sesko 'raises alarm bells'

Alan Shearer has given Manchester United and Newcastle the all clear to pursue Benjamin Sesko, sharing none of the apprehension Arsenal had over signing the striker Alan Shearer completely disagrees with Arsenal 's concerns over Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko after the Gunners decided not to pursue the striker. Arsenal finally ended their long search for a star striker last month by signing Viktor Gyokeres for around £64million. ‌ That was despite Mikel Arteta 's long-standing interest in RB Leipzig's Sesko, having monitored his development in the Bundesliga over the past 12 months. But after holding initial talks with the German side, Arsenal bosses quickly discovered that any move for the 22-year-old would prove too costly for a player still developing his game. ‌ Three notable alarm bells were raised regarding a potential Sesko deal. They were: Leipzig's asking price, his lofty wage demands, and doubts over his psychological readiness to spearhead Arsenal's frontline, given his age and the fact he has not played in England previously. ‌ While Arsenal decided Sesko was too much of a gamble, Newcastle and the Red Devils have shown no such doubts in their pursuit of the Slovenian international in recent weeks. Recent reports from Slovenia hinted Sesko was edging towards a Newcastle switch but it appears he's still weighing up his options, with United yet to make a formal offer. Magpies legend Shearer's comments back in December, long before Newcastle were linked with Sesko, indicated that the pundit held none of Arsenal's concerns over the forward. Speaking before Leipzig's Champions League meeting with Aston Villa, Shearer backed Sesko to thrive in the Premier League. After Sesko was compared to Erling Haaland, Shearer told Amazon Prime: "He has the same frame. He is as quick as he is. He can certainly travel with the ball like he can. He is very good at scoring goals. He is very good at bringing people into the game, so I get the comparison. "I like him a lot. I know he is very young - he is only 21 years of age so he's got a lot of learning to do - but without doubt there is a top-class footballer in there. I think it's only a matter of time before he's playing, maybe even in the Premier League." When asked if he has the skill-set to make it in the Premier League, Shearer added: "I do, I think it's a matter of who can afford him. There is no doubt that this football club has a history of making an absolute fortune on transfers and this guy could be the next one to come into the Premier League. ‌ "Either foot - left or right - which is great to see. The work rate, the work off the ball, he's got all them things and he's got very good technique, good balance and I don't think there is a doubt in my mind that and he would look very comfortable in the Premier League. I do think he has a lot to learn, but he can learn no doubt." Newcastle were the first to make a move for the striker, putting forward a bid just shy of £70m, as reported by the Chronicle. That offer was swiftly turned down by Leipzig, who were hoping for a bidding war among the interested clubs. The Slovenian netted an impressive 22 goals across all competitions last season and is hailed as one of Europe's most promising talents, having been signed from Leipzig's sister club RB Salzburg in 2023. ‌ Newcastle will hope to complete a deal for Sesko if they lose their talisman Alexander Isak to Liverpool this summer, having already rejected the Premier League champions' £110m bid. Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim's Red Devils are also in need of a No. 9 after missing out on several targets this window, with Gyokeres, Liam Delap and Hugo Ekitike opting for moves to Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.

Ultimately, you just say, 'thank you very much for the great memories you've given us, off you go'."He added: "I'm not angry at all towards him. I understand how football works, I know what happens in and around the game."I probably understand his mentality. Do I like it? Do I understand it? Probably two different things."If it really is impossible for Eddie to turn him around and he says no, and it sounds like that is the case, I want him to be out now."You get your big money for him, whoever's prepared to pay that, and you get other people in, hopefully beforehand, and then you move on."No individual is bigger than any football club." Cody Gakpo pays tribute to 'unforgettable' Diogo Jota - as Liverpool prepare for their first game at Anfield since the forward's tragic death

Cody Gakpo paid an emotional tribute to the late Diogo Jota as Liverpool prepare to play their first match at Anfield since the Portuguese's untimely death. On July 3, Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, died when their car crashed in the early hours in northern Spain. The 28-year-old forward had recently married his childhood sweetheart at a ceremony in his native Portugal following a campaign culminating in trophy-winning successes for both club and country. After the incident Liverpool announced that Jota's No 20 would be immediately retired for all levels following consultation with his widow and his family. Now, as Arne Slot 's side prepare to host Athletic Bilbao in their final pre-season friendly Gakpo reflected on the heartbreak he and his team-mates have suffered. 'Yeah, it's been very difficult,' the Dutchman told The Athletic. 'A lot of us were still on vacation when the situation happened. We came together as a team and as a club as soon as possible. 'We tried to be there as much as we could at that moment for the family and together as a team to help wherever we could. 'We still try to do that, and everyone is still busy a bit more behind the scenes than what is in the news, reaching out and helping as much as possible.' Supporters and players alike have left tributes to Jota at a memorial set up outside Anfield. Plans are in place for a permanent sculpture to be set up at the ground in Jota's honour, while Liverpool will have the phrase 'Forever 20' emblazoned on each player's kit for the duration of the coming campaign. 'It is the least we can do,' Gakpo added. 'Obviously, he was an outstanding player, but he as a person was even more wonderful. He was good with everyone. 'Everyone loved him, and that is also what you saw with how everyone reacted. 'So yeah, it's more that we want to remember who he was to us. Not as a player, because the player we can see on the highlights on YouTube, but more as the person he was. 'He will be missed this season, but he will also be missed by everyone in this team and in this club, and by his family, for the rest of our lives. We will not forget him.' After the visit of Bilbao on Monday evening, Liverpool will next be in action when they face Crystal Palace in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday. The club will then kick off their Premier League title defence at home to Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth on August 15.
