YANKTON, S.D. (KCAU) — The Yankton Riverboat Days Committee has announced performers for this year's event.
The event runs from August 15 to 17 and will feature food, arts, and music at Yankton's Riverside Park.
On Friday, August 15, a rock band called DOROTHY will perform at the Explorer's Credit Union Main Stage. A band called The Lugnuts will open for DOROTHY; they're known for their honky-tonk-style of music.

'It gets us out of the house. Summer's starting, it's a great way to see people like in the community you don't always get to see, and it's just a great way to try different foods and support local businesses,' she said. The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe will be performing at the Spirit of Discovery Stage at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18. The event is free. The center said the performance is family-friendly and free for visitors. If you'd like to sit during the event, you're encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
