In a statement the Royal Oman Police said: 'A collision occurred among three vehicles on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road after Maqshan in Dhofar Governorate at 7am today. Initial information indicates the death of five persons, including two citizens and three Emiratis, and injuries to eleven others. Other received varying degrees of injury, including two citizens and nine others, all from the United Arab Emirates, including five children.
