Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are celebrating a special milestone, their daughter Zuneyra's first birthday. Marking the occasion with an emotional note, Richa reflected on her journey into motherhood and the transformative year that followed her daughter's birth.
Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote, 'For bringing so much colour into all our lives! A year ago I gave birth to a healthy baby girl at Breach Candy Hospital. Labour lasted a few hours, delivery only about 20 minutes, natural birth! Life hasn't been the same since, particularly me… I feel rearranged from the insides out… my brain, my heart, my body, my soul. Zuneyra was born a year ago and so was I. Reborn as a mom. An entirely new being, than what existed before. A life and child with the man of your dreams… if this isn't a blessing I don't know what is❤️🌻."
While most fans and celebrities flooded her comments with love and warm wishes, a few took issue with her use of the term 'natural birth." One follower commented, 'Every birth is natural, thanks to science nowadays they're being assisted to help the Mom and the kid."
Richa was quick to respond, writing, 'If I said normal delivery, you'd have said the same thing." Another user pointed out, 'Please the word normal meant everything to every mothers don't say it like that because it hurts others… even the ones that are Caesarian is normal because over 50% of women are doing it."

Despite the comments, many supported Richa, appreciating her raw and honest words about motherhood.
For those unfamiliar with their journey, Richa and Ali met in 2013 on the sets of Fukrey. They began dating in 2016 and made their relationship public in 2017 when Richa accompanied Ali to the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of his film Victoria and Abdul. The couple tied the knot in an interfaith ceremony in October 2020, and welcomed their daughter Zuneyra on July 16, 2024.

New Delhi, Jul 21 (PTI) Filmmaker Karan Johar, whose credits include films such as "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "My Name Is Khan", slammed a troll on social media for addressing him as "nanny of nepo kids" and called for lesser negativity. Johar shared a post on his Instagram handle on Monday praising "Saiyaara" actors, Ahaan Panday, who made his acting debut, and Aneet Padda, known for featuring in web series 'Big Girls Don't Cry' and the Kajol-starrer film 'Salaam Venky'. Directed by Mohit Suri, "Saiyaara" was released on July 18 and has garnered a positive response from the audience. Johar penned a heartfelt note and also called the film Suri's best directorial. In the same post, one of the users left a comment pointing out Johar, but the filmmaker was ready to answer.
