Humor: The Last Dating App on Earth
If you had time to read all those questions, it means you haven't yet been swallowed by the sea.
And there's more good news! Despite the already devastating impacts of climate change, you can still make an impact on your devastating love life. Introducing Cli-Mate, the newest—and final—dating app that lets you swipe right on who's left!
Whether you're looking for something short-term or even-shorter term, we're on an (e)mission to help you land locally sourced, down-to-earth partners while you wait out the looming doom. The Cli-Mate app is a natural resource for anyone eager to give their lust or love life the green light, before the universe leaves all of us on read.
The two most popular app modes are:
Cli-Mate Change — Something Casual
Put the 'do' in doomsday! This option is great for those actively looking to change mates frequently before the inevitable apocalypse. If you have the kind of renewable energy to flood your remaining days with infinite lovers who are willing to rise (like the sea) to the challenge, you'll thrive in this environment.
Cli-Mate Crisis — Something Serious
We heard you love sustainability! Recommended for people who crave crucial stability as the planet goes through never-ending Hot Girl Summer, this route lets the waning population know you're looking for reliable company — a singular partner to take you out frequently before a tsunami does.
For both paths, you'll need to write a bio, fueled by your desires. Then, you'll answer a few questions to share inconvenient truths, compare carbon footprints, and ice out polar opposites. (You can also choose to forgo the survey altogether, and select the 🔥 option, which signals your burning motivation to meet literally anyone, and now.)
If you're thinking: Physical and emotional connections?! In this climate?!
Listen to what users have to say about the app:
'Like our oceans, many dating sites are full of garbage. This one really helped me set my sights on love in a truly morbid and nihilistic way.'
'I used to just recycle old flames, but Cli-Mate helped me warm up to new possibilities, people, and positions I once thought were extinct!'
'These days, it seems like everyone's just DTF (down to frack), but Cli-Mate proved otherwise. I met my soulmate, and I would follow them to the ends of the earth, and not just because I'll literally have to.'
'Thanks to this app, there's a new greenhouse effect! I got laid in a greenhouse.'
'In these trying times, I wasn't trying at all. This app reminded me that doing nothing didn't have to be the final (reusable) straw.'
'Dating has always been a means to an end; now it's a means to the literal end. Join the remaining few in demanding 'mate action now!'
'If the planet is getting screwed, I should be, too. Thanks, Cli-Mate.'
Worth noting: If you get a notification that says, 'There is no one new around you,' the apocalypse has begun.

The Golden Bachelor's Mel Owens Offers Mea Culpa for ‘Insensitive' Comments About Older Women: ‘I've Learned a Lot'
The new star of The Golden Bachelor was a little tarnished by recent comments he made about dating older women, but he's trying to make amends. In a new interview with Glamour, Mel Owens — who is set to star in the second season of ABC's senior dating competition — confronts the backlash he received when he said in a podcast interview in June that he'd eliminate any contestants age 60 or older. (Owens is 66, for the record.) More from TVLine Matt Damon and Ken Jennings Risk It All on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - But Did They Win Big? ABC Moves Up Premiere Date for 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey's Anatomy Joshua Jackson Admits He's 'Bummed Out' by Doctor Odyssey Cancellation: 'It Was a Really Fun Show' Owens is now backtracking on those comments, saying they 'were a mistake by me. It's unfair. It's insensitive… and I want to earn it back.' Owens is currently two weeks into shooting his season of The Golden Bachelor, and he reveals he apologized to the women as well: 'When I first walked in, I addressed it. I apologized to them. I said, 'It was unfair, insensitive. I want to earn it back. Just give me the chance.'' The women on Owens' season are in their 60s, he says, and he was 'absolutely shocked' at how 'active' and 'brilliant' they are. (ABC has not yet revealed the women competing in Mel's season.) They also got a little revenge on him, he hints: 'One of the dates was a roast. It was brutal. They were killing me… It was good because I earned that, and I took it and I deserved it, and it landed squarely on me.' Owens blames his controversial comments on his lack of familiarity with the show: 'I didn't know the age range because I wasn't watching it. I'm thinking, to me, the age range was 45 to 60. That's my age range. I'm thinking that's the gold years for me.' He also says he preferred younger women because 'my reference… was when I was dating at 39, 40. I hadn't dated in 26 years, so I had no clue.' He hopes fans who wrote off the show after his comments will give it another chance: 'Hopefully the show will show that the women that are in their golden years, that are doing these amazing things. It's inspirational.' The experience so far has been 'life-altering' for him, he adds: 'I've learned a lot.' Owens' season of The Golden Bachelor premieres Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c on ABC. Chiefs' Chris Jones reveals updated love life amid cheating allegations
Kansas City Chiefs' Chris Jones is sharing an update about his love life after he allegedly cheated on his ex-girlfriend, Sheawna Weathersby. The couple had been dating for nine years, and Weathersby announced that they had split "months ago" back in April. 'I just wanna be married, I just wanna be loved,' Jones said in a TikTok shared this week by the Chiefs' official account. At the time, Weathersby accused Jones of cheating after the three-time Super Bowl champion shared a photo with an unidentified woman. "I'm choosing to focus on the positive as I close this chapter on a 9-year relationship," Weathersby wrote. "Unfortunately, Chris' infidelity with the woman he's recently been pictured with, led to my decision to end our relationship months ago." "I'm proud to say I chose to prioritize my own wellbeing and healing journey," she added. "As I embark on this new chapter, I'm excited for the opportunities and growth that await me. I trust that God will transform the pain into something beautiful." Fans believed that the couple broke up after the NFL star tweeted a meme that read, "I'm like 106% single." A fan reacted to the meme saying that he wasn't single but the NFL star responded, "I am." The couple who began dating in 2016, share two children together: Christopher Jones II, born in 2018, and Carson Dakota Jones, born in 2022. It's unclear if both of them are single at this time, but their Instagram accounts do not have posts with new partners. Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz renew vows
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have renewed their wedding vows. After making it to the milestone of three years as man and wife, the celebrity couple reportedly did it all over again. People magazine confirmed that the son of former footballer David Beckham and the actor had renewed their wedding vows on Saturday, quoting an uncredited source with the rationale that it was all about "honouring the love and commitment they've built together over the years". The two were married in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022 after dating since 2019. Their wedding lasted for several days, and included famous attendees as well as the groom's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Three months ago, the couple publicly celebrated their third anniversary. On Instagram at the time, Brooklyn wrote, "Dear Nicola, Happy anniversary, baby. I love you so much, and I continue to fall more in love with you every second. You make me a better man, and I couldn't ask for a better partner. You are my soul and my rock. I love you so much, Nicola. Love Brooklyn." The couple recently skipped dad David's elaborate 50th birthday party in London, leaving fans speculating about family drama and feuds.
