BLACKPINK's ROSÉ surprises fans with a duet performance of 'APT.' with Coldplay in South Korea
BLACKPINK's ROSÉ delighted fans with an unexpected appearance during Coldplay's concert in Seoul, South Korea, on Tuesday 22 April, performing her viral hit with Bruno Mars, 'APT.' live for thousands at Goyang Stadium.
The BLACKPINK member joined the British rock band on stage during the fourth night of their Music of the Spheres Tour.
In a video shared by both ROSÉ and Coldplay, the singer can be seen strutting confidently down the stage runway in a shimmering silver jacket, leading the crowd in singing the catchy lyrics of her chart-topping solo.
The energy soared even higher when frontman Chris Martin took over the second verse, usually performed by Bruno Mars, rapping, 'It's whatever, it's whatever, it's whatever you like. Turn this 'apt' into a club,' as ROSÉ beamed beside him.
Originally released in October, 'APT.' became a global success for ROSÉ, earning her a No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominating the Billboard Global 200 for 12 weeks. It appears on her debut solo album Rosie, launched during BLACKPINK's group hiatus.
The Seoul concert was part of a six-night run at Goyang Stadium.
Girl group TWICE opened Coldplay's shows in Korea and even collaborated with the band on a new version of 'We Pray,' which they performed together on 16 April and later released officially.
Coldplay has welcomed several high-profile guests during their Asia tour, including BTS's JIN and singer Elyanna.
Footage of ROSÉ and Coldplay's electrifying duet performance has since been shared widely by fans online.

Jessie J reveals early breast cancer diagnosis before "No Secrets" release
British singer-songwriter Jessie J has opened up about her battle with early breast cancer, revealing that she was diagnosed prior to the release of her track "No Secrets" in April. The singer, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, shared the news with her followers on Instagram on Tuesday. 'I was diagnosed with early breast cancer before 'No Secrets' came out,' Jessie J explained in her post, emphasising the importance of the word "early." Despite the diagnosis, Jessie expressed gratitude for the early detection, acknowledging the difficulties of cancer while focusing on the positive aspects of her situation. The singer has been undergoing a series of tests since the release of her song, and she explained that she decided to be open about her journey for a personal reason. 'I just wanted to be open and share it because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,' she said. Jessie J also noted how sharing her experiences in the past has helped her connect with others facing similar challenges. Despite the situation, the singer found humour in the coincidence of releasing No Secrets alongside her personal health battle, saying, 'It's a weird topic and a weird situation.'

Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall update: Interim champ claims UFC goat is 'retired'
Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has suggested that details for his next bout are finalised, telling fans he now has a 'date and location' for his return to the Octagon. The British fighter, 32, made the comments during a conversation with former UFC champions Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen, amid continued speculation over a potential showdown with Jon Jones. 'This is exciting times for the heavyweight division,' Aspinall said. 'I've got a date and a location. The active heavyweight champion is here to fight them all – let's get it on.' Aspinall won the interim title in November 2023 with a first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich. The bout was hastily arranged after Jon Jones withdrew from a title defence against Stipe Miocic due to injury. Aspinall later defended the interim belt with a 60-second knockout of Curtis Blaydes in July, becoming one of few UFC fighters to risk defending a provisional title. Jones returned to action in November, stopping Miocic in the third round to retain the full heavyweight title. However, the 38-year-old has yet to commit to a unification bout with Aspinall and has since fuelled retirement rumours. 'Jon's retired,' Aspinall added. 'What are you talking about, guys? He's had a fantastic career... but we move on. I'm the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.' With the UFC schedule already filled through September, Aspinall's next fight appears most likely to take place in October or later. His comments have been interpreted as confirmation that he has reached an agreement with the UFC for a future bout, although an opponent has not been announced. Aspinall boasts a 15-3 record in MMA and is 8-1 in the UFC. All of his UFC victories have come by stoppage, with seven of them ending in the first round. His only loss in the promotion was the result of a knee injury against Blaydes in 2022. Despite being widely regarded as one of the sport's greatest athletes, Jones's career has been marred by legal issues and multiple failed drug tests. He remains undefeated in competition, with his only official loss coming via disqualification in 2009. As the heavyweight division seeks renewed momentum, Aspinall's active approach has positioned him as a central figure in shaping its future.
