Brighton and Paris marathon runner walks between cities
A man who ran the Brighton Marathon, walked to France and then completed the Paris Marathon has said his "legs are pretty stiff".After the Brighton event on 6 April, Matt Clayton, from Rustington in West Sussex, walked 11 miles (17.7km) to Newhaven to catch a ferry to Dieppe, then walked 105 miles (168.9km) to Paris, before running that city's marathon on Sunday.Mr Clayton said he even managed to set a new personal best in the French capital.Speaking from the airport on Monday morning, he said he "couldn't wait to get home".
"Before the Paris Marathon, my calf was really stiff, and as I got started, it seemed to free up," he told BBC Radio Sussex."I felt incredible stamina-wise and got 11 minutes off my PB from Brighton the week before."He added: "The weather has been incredible all week. I have got very lucky on that front."His efforts have been to raise money for the Wynn Trust, a charity which helps former boxers who have suffered brain injuries.He has so far raised more than £3,000, but said there were "definitely no more challenges lined up"."I have other events signed up, but nothing like this," he added.

Gyokeres rift grows Viktor Gyokeres' frustration with Sporting Lisbon is growing, with the Portuguese side continuing to block a transfer deal. Gyokeres is a target for several sides, including United, after another stunning season for Sporting. But the Portuguese champions do not want to let him leave easily, prompting a rift to form. According to A Bola, Sporting agreed last summer that Gyokeres could leave for £53m this year. They have upped their asking price to £67m though, creating a 'rift' between the player and the club. Gyokeres is said to have made it clear to Sporting's chiefs that he wants to leave this summer, with the 27-year-old insisting he feels ready to make a leap up a level. England ‘not good enough' but won't panic
Three days on from an underwhelming 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra, Thomas Tuchel's side were again booed off by fans. Goals from Ismaila Sarr, Habib Diarra and Cheikh Sabaly inflicted England's first defeat to an African nation following Kane's early opener at the City Ground in Nottingham. 'Again, not really good enough,' Kane told ITV Sport. 'We had again moments; just with and without the ball we aren't quite clicking, aren't quite finding the right passes, finding the right tempo. 'One v one, we're losing duels, we're losing just that aggressive nature that we've had and we got punished, we're playing against a good side. We just weren't good enough today. 'We're not going to panic. But for sure we know we need to do better.'
