FINDING the perfect name for your little one isn't always easy, especially if you don't want to give them something too popular.
But that's exactly where some parents go wrong, at least that's the sister-in-law of one mum might think.

People thought the baby would be bullied for the unique name

She recently took to Reddit to slam her her brother's beau and soon-to-be mum for the unique name she's set on.
"The word Sugar has a special meaning in their relationship that I won't get into so they want to name their daughter Sugar," she revealed.
"Everyone in our family has been telling her this is a bad idea and suggesting more conventional names but she insists that it should at least be something sugar-themed," she added.
But even after sharing some other name suggestions, including Honey, Dulcie, and more, the mum still wouldn't budge.
After sharing the situation on social media, Reddit users were shocked by the unique name.
One said: "Are we sure she's not naming a dog?"
And others said the name was simply "inviting harassment" and would "lead to bullying" for the kid.
"Why can't sugar be a cute family nickname, but give the poor kid a proper name," another suggested.
"Just because sugar has some meaning to them doesn't mean they should brand a child with that," someone else said.
"Name her a nice name and then call her sugar as a nickname as a baby. Sounds selfish to me," they added.
Corrie star welcomes second child and reveals unusual name
But this isn't the first time a baby name has caused a stir on Reddit, as another mum was slammed for the unique moniker she gave to her first born
The mum's 29-year-old sister explained that she was "genuinely happy" for her sister, who "had a rough couple of years."
However, this did not stop her from sharing her rather harsh reaction to her new niece's name.
ccording to the Redditor, her sister had opted to call the baby M'leigha Seraphynne.
She said that her sister "insists" that the name is pronounced Mah-lay-uh Seraphine.
Her sister revealed her reasoning, explaining that 'normal names are boring, and my daughter deserves to stand out.'
"She looked hurt and asked why I didn't like it, so I, probably too bluntly, said: 'Because it sounds like a WiFi password,'" she wrote.
The poster explained that her sister "immediately got defensive" and called her "judgmental and unsupportive."
According to her sister, nobody else had a problem with the unique name.

M&S' new £3.80 picnic snack is even better than their £5.50 cult buy & here's more picky bits we guarantee will be a hit

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WITH summer in full swing and the weather heating up, there's no better time to stock up on picky bits. And luckily for foodies, M&S have really come through with a new selection of snacks that are perfect for warm days. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 6 With picnic season finally here, if you're searching for snacks that are mouth-wateringly good, you've come to the right place Credit: Abigail Wilson 6 Here, Abby Wilson shares her honest thoughts on the new M&S picky bits Credit: Abigail Wilson 6 You won't want to miss these new £3.50 dips Credit: Abigail Wilson 6 There's one flavour of crisps that's a 10/10, but another Abby would leave on the shelf Credit: Abigail Wilson So if you can't be bothered to cook dinner tonight and aren't sure what to buy that will leave you feeling satisfied, look no further. Not only has the new M&S Strawberry Sandwich proved a hit with many, but now, social media users are scrambling to get their hands on the brand-new viral crisps and dips which start at just £3. Following on from their previous viral dips, which included sell-out flavours - New York Deli Pastrami Dip, Chicken Caesar Dip and the Whipped Herby Greek Feta Dip - M&S have now added some new must-try versions to their fridges - and they are sure to get your mouth watering. Shoppers can now tuck into the Chicken Shawarma and Cheesy Ploughman's Dip, both of which are advertised as perfect for 'park days, picky teas and picnic vibes.' Here, Fabulous' Senior Writer Abby Wilson, a self-proclaimed M&S superfan, managed to fill her basket not only with the new delicious dips, but also a selection of other unmissable savoury winners. So if you can't decide which buys you should nab or leave on the shelf, you'll need to listen up, as this foodie shares her honest thoughts… M&S not only sell over 70million pots of nibbles and dips every year, but have since received the title of "the undisputed home of picky bits" and I can certainly see why. Calling all dip lovers - if you can't get enough of crisps and dips and are on the hunt for a new snack that's bound to go down a treat this summer, M&S have got you covered. I have one very simple word to describe the two new loaded dips - unreal. The Topped Chicken Shawarma Dip is spiced, creamy and succulent, while the Topped Ploughman's Dip is a yummy statement on a British favourite. I'm a die-hard Aldi shopper but I trialled M&S for a week, I was so surprised, I'll definitely be back Both of which are £3.50 and are certainly worth the cash - you can expect unique and unmissable flavours in dips you've never seen before on the high street. While the Chicken Shawarma dip contains marinated pulled chicken and tangy pickled red onions, the Ploughman's buy is full of chutney, tender pulled ham hock and crunchy silverskin onions. Not only are they great with crisps, but they're so good they could even work as a sandwich filler too. And it's not just loaded dips that M&S have nailed this season - there's also a collection of other dips that are spot on too. The new M&S buys you won't want to miss HERE, Abby Wilson shares her favourite M&S buys from their latest range of picky bits... Topped Chicken Shawarma Dip - £3.50 Topped Ploughman's Dip - £3.50 Labneh Dip - £3 Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Dip - £3.50 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Crisps with Black Truffle - £3.75 Mature Cheddar and Marmite Sausage Rolls - £3.80 Dressed Giant Butterbeans - £3.90 The Extra Smooth Houmous is just £3 and is one of the nicest I've tried - it's simple but packed with flavour and very smooth. Meanwhile, the Middle Eastern-inspired Labneh Dip has a vibrant basil and mint dressing and is crafted with creamy strained yoghurt. It's brilliant with breadsticks and is almost too good - so if you're trying to watch your waistline, buy it at your own risk. Another dip that gets a solid thumbs up from me is the Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Dip. It's quite similar to M&S' other new dip - the Roasted Red Pepper and Aubergine Dip (both of which are £3.50 each) - but the walnut version takes the top spot thanks to its rich, nutty flavour. I have one very simple word to describe the two new loaded dips - unreal Abby Wilson And if you want crunchy crisps that not only scream luxury but will pair perfectly with these dips, M&S have got you sorted. While I wasn't a fan of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Crisps with Serrano Ham, the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Crisps with Black Truffle are delicious. They have a strong taste of truffle but are not too overpowering, and get a solid 10/10 rating from me. The crisps are also available in Mediterranean Sea Salt, which have a pretty average taste but I believe will be a crowd-pleaser. The crisps are all £3.75 a bag, so they're certainly not cheap, but they're said to contain 'exceptional-quality potatoes', which ensure delicate, golden crisps, that are great for dipping (or dunking in my case.) The nation's most peculiar food combinations revealed Brits reveal unusual food combinations that are so wrong, they feel right Research by LNER claims that a whopping four in five Brits experiment with unusual flavours, and almost a quarter have a 'guilty pleasure' when it comes to unconventional food combinations, Crisps and chocolate Cheese and chocolate Crisps in jam sandwich Chips and milkshake Cheese and bananas Apples with salt and pepper Avocado and chocolate Popcorn and hot sauce Tuna and marmite Gherkins and peanut butter Next up in the chain's new summer snack selection are the Mature Cheddar and Marmite Sausage Rolls. I was so surprised by these - I'm not a fan of Marmite, but these are truly phenomenal. The cheesy flavour is out of this world and the sausage isn't gristly like many supermarket sausage rolls often can be. They're so good I scoffed one in a matter of seconds, but could easily eat the whole pack in just a few minutes - and at £3.80, while they're not that purse-friendly, they're certainly worth every penny. As well as tasting divine, if you ask me they're actually better than the cult favourite 'Best Ever Sausage Roll', which is also from M&S and sets shoppers back an eye-watering £5.50. The Dressed Giant Butterbeans is a random idea but it definitely works Abby Wilson But the M&S deluxe picky bits don't stop there - shoppers can also nab the new M&S Grilled Turkish Green Olives and the Spanish Mini Fuet (a type of pork sausage) and Cheese. They're tasty but both pretty basic and I'm not totally convinced I can say they're worth £4 and £3.90 each. Meanwhile, the Dressed Giant Butterbeans is a random idea but it definitely works. If you hate parmesan and can't stand garlic then these aren't for you, but if you want something that's rich and perfect paired on a platter with pork pies and cold cuts of meat, this £3.90 should go straight in your basket. But you'll need to move fast if you want to stock up on these picky bits, as like all M&S finds, once they go viral on TikTok, they're sure to sell out quickly. PS5 consoles could break from hidden flaw claim fans playing latest game

The PS5's overheating issue seems to be getting worse, although the most recent problems may be the fault of one specific game. Death Stranding 2 launched last week for the PlayStation 5 and while Kojima Productions has yet to share sales figure, the prestige of director Hideo Kojima and the success of the first game makes it one of the biggest new games of the summer. At the same time, word is spreading that the game is causing some PlayStation 5 consoles to overheat, prompting demands for a patch to fix the issue. However, some suspect that the PlayStation 5 itself is at fault, as a problem that's been known about for years is believed to be getting worse. For context, the claims of Death Stranding 2 overheating consoles started with this Reddit thread. A Redditor named mudman2018 claims they're running the game on a base PlayStation 5 and have received overheat warnings when they have the map open. 'It's strange because everything else runs smoothly, even during long gameplay sessions. But the moment I bring up the map and start planning a route, the fan suddenly goes crazy and I get an overheating warning,' they say. Plenty of other players report the same thing happening to them when using the map. They are also insistent that the issue lies with the game and not their console, with fans like iamthepower and Connorpreferspc saying they keep their console clean and in a well-ventilated area. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. What's more, some report that this is happening on the Slim model too, and even a couple of owners of a PS5 Pro say their console gets hotter than usual. That said, it's unclear how widespread the issue is. The Reddit thread only has 62 votes, and we can confirm that we never experienced overheating during our play sessions. We played it for over 50 hours (much of that during the intense heatwave of last weekend) and you have to use the map a lot, so if the problem was that common we should've seen some sign of it. Unless Kojima Productions acknowledges the issue and offers an explanation and/or fix, it's entirely possible the fault lies somewhere else. Apart from the current heatwave in Europe, it could also have to do with a known design flaw in the PlayStation 5. A couple of years ago, multiple tech experts reported on instances of the liquid metal used for cooling dripping onto other components when the console is stood vertically (the console we were playing on was horizontal). This was a fairly uncommon issue at the time but just last week, Matthew Cassells, founder of Alderon Games, claimed it's become more prevalent, while speaking during an appearance on the Moore's Law Is Dead podcast. According to Cassells, more and more PlayStation 5 owners, including his fellow team members, have reported instances of overheating when playing Alderon Games' Path Of Titans, a dinosaur themed MMO survival game. Cassells said he got in contact with Sony and learned that because of the liquid metal issues, more intensive games have a higher chance of causing the PlayStation 5 to overheat and shut down. More Trending He added that roughly 3% of Path Of Titans' player-base has been affected by the issue, which reinforces that it isn't widespread, but Cassells expressed fears that a lot of PlayStation 5 consoles could still end up dying within the next couple of years. Sony has apparently tried to mitigate the issue with the Slim and Pro models, and it's been advised that everyone rest PlayStation 5s horizontally or at the very least ensure they use the console's stand if keeping it vertical. It's possible this is the true culprit behind the Death Stranding 2 problem, but some claim the issue can affect horizontal consoles and even newly bought consoles. As it stands, the true cause may remain a mystery unless a new patch drops, but if it is an issue with the hardware itself then this summer may expose the issue for even more people. TV show with two big name stars quietly cancelled after just one season

The series was created by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy OUT TO SEA TV show with two big name stars quietly cancelled after just one season – leaving fans gutted A CRUISE ship melodrama has been quietly cancelled after just one season – despite being led by Dawson's Creek hunk, Joshua Jackson. The series, which was created by Glee and American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy, premiered in September last year in the US, before dropping on Disney+ in the UK. 6 Doctor Odyssey has been cancelled after one season Credit: Getty 6 The cast was led by Joshua Jackson as a doctor on board a cruise liner Credit: PA 6 The barmy series also starred Don Johnson Credit: Getty Doctor Odyssey, which saw Jackson play Max Bankman, the new physician on board the titular luxury cruise liner, has now unfortunately been given the push by US network, ABC. According to Variety, the cast's contracts are set to expire today, with the network not putting the show back on its schedule. As a result, it seems like the comedy-drama, which became known for its campy predicaments each week, is dead in the water. This comes despite the strong cast including Miami Vice legend Don Johnson as the ship's loveable captain, Hamilton star Phillipa Soo as Bankman's nurse practitioner, Avery Morgan, and Skins' Sean Teale as fellow nurse Tristan Silva. READ MORE DISNEY PLUS STARLET TO SUPERSTAR Meteoric rise of Olivia Rodrigo from Disney star to Glasto headliner Doctor Odyssey followed the various medical issues Bankman and his team had to deal with while on the ship. The bizarre catastrophes ranged from one passenger contracting iodine poisoning after overdoing it on the all-you-can-eat shrimp, to a plastic-surgery loving woman whose nose fell off after snorting cocaine. As all this unfolds, the close quarters of the staff gives way to romance, prompting a review in The Telegraph comparing it to 'a cross between ER and The Love Boat'. It's 'bonkers' plot lines also include Max declaring himself 'the first person in the US to contract Covid' which sparked a new zest for life when he survived. Throughout the show's initial run, Doctor Odyssey was also filled with megastars appearing in cameo roles – including Shania Twain, Angela Bassett, Kelsea Ballerini and John Stamos. However, it seems the jam-packed cast wasn't enough to keep the show afloat. At the time of writing, none of the main cast have commented on the show's cancellation. But fans have flocked to X (formerly Twitter) begging their "weird" and "nonsense" series to be saved. "They really cancelled Doctor Odyssey and I feel personally attacked. Yeah, it was chaotic," wrote one. "Yeah, it didn't always make sense. But it had heart and in the end, I weirdly loved every minute of it. I'm gonna miss this messy, unserious emotional gem." "I don't know how they'd do it but they need to get Doctor Odyssey on a new channel somehow. I don't care if they have to have a major budget cut and it has to be filmed on a dinghy. Just bring it back to me," said another. While a third wrote: "I'm mourning the loss of #DoctorOdyssey today. I was hoping for Season 2 where the group goes through the Bermuda Triangle, goes back in time and sees dinosaurs." 6 Despite being "nonsense" fans grew attached to the show Credit: Getty 6 The series became known for its whacky catastrophes on board Credit: Getty
