Krishnah Gravidez places in Top 5 of Miss World multimedia challenge, Thailand named winner for Asia and Oceania
Krishnah Gravidez placed in the Top 5 for Asia and Oceania of the Miss World multimedia challenge, which Thailand won.
For the final task of the pre-pageant challenge, candidates were tasked 'to create a special video sharing their personal journeys, from the moment they were crowned in their home countries to their days at the Miss World experience in Telangana, India.'
They had to present their stories in a news-style format and were also allowed to include fellow candidates.
Thailand's Suchata Chuangsri won the challenge for Asia and Oceania.
Sri Lanka's Anudi Gunasekara was named first runner-up, while Krishnah, New Zealand's Samantha Poole, and Vietnam's Hu?nh Tr?n Ý Nhi completed the Top 5.
While Krishnah's and Hu?nh Tr?n Ý Nhi's videos were deemed "excellent," Miss World explained they went beyond the allotted time of 90 seconds.
Miss World also said, 'All the submitted videos stood out for their originality, emotional depth, and quality of production.'
Together with Thailand, Montenegro (Europe), Cameroon (Africa), and Dominican Republic (Americas and Carribean) emerged the continental winners of the multimedia challenge.
Krishnah is vying for the country's second Miss World crown after Megan Young, who won the Philippines' first title in 2013.
During the pageant's Head to Head Challenge presentation, the Filipina beauty queen highlighted her children-focused advocacy.
She has also showcased her singing talent.
Missosology put Krishnah in 9th place for their latest Miss World hot picks.
The coronation night of Miss World 2025 will be held on May 31 in India.
