Inter Milan Linked Italy Star To Leave PSG – Premier League Clubs On Alert
Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to leave PSG, with clubs from the Premier League on alert to sign the Italian international. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908. By now, the situation of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Paris Saint-Germain is well-known. The Parisians have just made a big money signing goal in the form of Lucas Chevallier from Lille. That looks like a clear statement of intent from PSG. Particularly considering that contract extension talks between the European champions and Donnarumma have stalled. The 26-year-old former AC Milan keeper has rejected the offer of a new deal worth €8 million net per season plus €4 million in add-ons. This is in line with the Parisians' policy of focusing on younger players and not offering big contracts to older players. Therefore, as things stand, Donnarumma is just one year away from the expiration of his contract. Gianluigi Donnarumma To Leave PSG LONDON, ENGLAND – APRIL 29: Gianluigi. Donnarumma of Paris. (Photo by) Donnarumma has been leave out of PSG's squad for the European Super Cup against Tottenham Hotspur. That is the biggest sign yet that the Parisians do not consider the 26-year-old a part of their plans. This in spite of Donnarumma's heroics in the Champions League knockouts this season. Inter Milan have long appeared to be suitors for Donnarumma if he sees out his contract in the French capital and leaves on a free transfer. However, if the Italian international leaves this summer, the Premier League would be a likelier destination.
