The complex, located near the Parliament House, comprises four 25-storey towers named after major rivers — Kosi, Krishna, Godavari and Hooghly — with a total of 184 type-VII flats.

Each unit includes five bedrooms, dedicated office spaces for the member of parliament and their personal assistant and two rooms for helpers, with attached bathrooms in every room.
These flats provide more space than the previously allotted top-tier bungalows.
Construction employed advanced methods using reinforced cement concrete and aluminium shuttering, significantly reducing the building timeline from the traditional 30–35 days for roof laying to 10–12 days.
Completed in two years at a cost of around Rs 550 crore, the buildings are earthquake-resistant and adhere to modern structural standards.
A two-level basement car park accommodates 500 vehicles.
The complex also features a community centre with four shops designed to meet residents' needs and provide space for social gatherings.
Sustainability was prioritised throughout the project.
The complex meets the National Building Code 2016 standards and has earned a GRIHA 3-star rating for energy conservation, renewable energy generation and effective waste management.
Overall, the complex aims to provide parliamentarians with a comfortable, functional, and secure living environment, addressing previous housing shortages.

HC allows ‘duped' NRI to attend MBBS counselling
Chennai: Madras high court has ordered an MBBS-aspirant, whose application was rejected on charges of furnishing a fake relationship certificate for admission under NRI quota, to be included in counselling, as the court found though his certificate was fake, the NRI relationship was genuine. A division bench of Justice M Sundar and Justice T Vinod Kumar granted relief to P V Arjun as the court found that his father had been 'duped' by a man who helped him obtain the certificate. Also, a scrutiny revealed that a subsequent certificate produced by the candidate was genuine and that his sponsor was none other than his father's blood brother, an NRI residing in Muscat. The bench passed the order on an appeal moved by the panel challenging an order of a single judge of the court directing the inclusion of the petitioner in the eligible candidate list for the NRI quota. The panel pointed out various clauses in the prospectus stating the candidates and parents would be responsible for documents submitted and they should not rely on agents/touts. It was said in the prospectus that after scrutiny, if the particulars furnished in the application were incorrect, his/her candidature would be cancelled. PM Modi to inaugurate UER-II, Dwarka Expressway on Sunday
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the 76-km UER-II, which has been developed as the third Ring Road of Delhi, and the Dwarka Expressway (29 km) on Sunday. These two roads are a key part of the Centre's Delhi decongestion plan and are expected to reduce congestion on the Ring Road and other arterial links of Delhi. The two interlinked access-controlled highways will ensure nonstop travel for vehicles coming from Chandigarh side towards IGI airport, Gurgaon and Jaipur. Sources said that all pending works have been completed. While Dwarka Expressway has been developed in four packages and cost around Rs 9,000 crore, the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) was divided in five packages and has been built at a total cost of Rs 7,716 crore. Though the Dwarka Expressway is fully operational, Modi had inaugurated the Haryana section of this high-speed corridor in Mar 2024, just ahead of the last Lok Sabha election. As per National Highways Authority of India, the UER-II starts from Alipur on NH-44 in Delhi and connects NH-9 and NH-48 in the national capital. The project was conceptualised as a part of Delhi Master Plan 2021. While around 54.2 km of it falls in Delhi, the remaining 21.5 km is in Haryana. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why Mr. Chirag Jain never exits a trade in loss — even when he's wrong TradeWise Learn More Undo The highway stretch provides connectivity to the proposed IICC in Dwarka through Dwarka Expressway.
