Netflix viewers divided after watching first trailer for Grenfell: Uncovered

Netflix viewers have shared mixed feelings over the upcoming documentary about the Grenfell Tower fire.
In a new trailer released today, Grenfell: Uncovered highlights the preventable mistakes and systematic neglect that led to the disaster that shook London to its core eight years ago.
The feature-length documentary directed by Olaide Sadiq takes a look at the disturbing chain of events that led to the blaze on June 14, 2017.
Uncovering actions taken by the government and businesses years before the fire, it shows how the lives of 72 people could have been saved.
Speaking to survivors, firefighters and bereaved families, the trailer has been praised as extremely powerful and moving.

Taking to social media, many people were keen to point out how this is 'much needed' in bringing justice to the victims.
Writing on the comments page on YouTube, @hugoriveracn said: 'Justice for the fallen now.'
@estherxmed wrote: 'Very tragic event. I remember when this was all over the news. Can't wait to watch this.'
@mrscwhite18 also said: 'I remember living in England and this happened absolutely shocked!!'
Writing on X, @dannybster added: 'This is much needed!'
@fanxyheon also commented: 'Oh I WILL be tuning in. I need every person to get their justice.'
However, not all Netflix fans seemed as eager to watch the show, as many claimed it is too painful to even think about.
Writing on X, @a_ihateithere said: 'I don't think I can bare to watch this. The trailer alone breaks my heart [sic]'.
@nicoleloiseee wrote on Youtube: 'Idk how I feel about this. Like the victims still haven't had justice. If the survivors and families are ok with it and have been involved then I support them but if not then this wouldn't feel right.'
Elsewhere in the trailer, former Prime Minister Theresa May makes an appearance to address the failings during the construction of the tower.
Another resident also states that they never expected a fire such as this to occur, 'because this is the United Kingdom'.
Following lengthy investigations, it was concluded that the Grenfell fire began with a broken refrigerator on the 16th floor. This ignited exposed gas pipes and highly flammable building materials.
After the inquiry found all deaths were avoidable, the fire was said to have been the result of a chain of failures by governments, 'dishonest' companies and the fire service, the latter of which failed to implement strategies for tackling fires in high-rise buildings with cladding.

She also expressed regret over not meeting with survivors and locals during her first visit to the site.
Ahead of the fire's first anniversary, she wrote in the Evening Standard: 'It was a tragedy unparalleled in recent history, and although many people did incredible work during and after the fire, it has long been clear that the initial response was not good enough.
'I include myself in that.'
Grenfell: Uncovered will be available to watch on Netflix on June 20.

Will there be a series four of Ginny and Georgia after huge plot twist finale
Series three of Ginny and Georgia left on a huge cliff-hanger- so will there be a series four? The third series of hit Netflix show Ginny and Georgia dropped onto the streaming platform on Thursday, June 5, and super fans have already finished binging all 10 episodes. But, after a cliff-hanger ending (spoilers ahead) viewers are on the edge of their seats, wondering if a fourth series has been confirmed. Series three of Sarah Lampert's comedy-drama, which focuses on teen Ginny and her 30-year-old mum Georgia, picked up after the jaw-dropping events of the series two finale, in which Georgia was arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller at her wedding to Wellsbury mayor Paul Randolph. Georgia's son Austin, who was playing hide-and-seek and hiding in the wardrobe of Tom's room, had witnessed the act as Georgia smothered Tom with a pillow. The third season primarily focuses on the murder trial, with Georgia facing a possible prison sentence. In a shocking turn of events, Austin frames his father, Gil, for the murder he knows was committed by his mum. But aside from this twisted crime and resulting trial, a huge plot twist that came at the end of the series was that both Ginny and Georgia discover that they are pregnant, after Georgia had faked a pregnancy earlier in series three. And what's more, we don't know the identity of the father of Georgia's baby. So, will fans be blessed with another series of this twist-after-twist comedy-drama? Luckily, the show was renewed for a fourth series at the same time its third series was confirmed, back in 2023. But viewers will have to wait until then to find out the aftermath of Ginny and Georgia's fast-paced series three finale. And its fourth series is planned to be its last ever. Showrunner Debra J. Fisher revealed to the Hollywood Reporter that the Netflix show was always planned to run for four series, and that they had already mapped out plans for Ginny and Georgia's final episode. The showrunner told the publication: "When Sarah [Lampert] and I pitched the show to Netflix, we did pitch four seasons, so we know what we want the end game to be. 'We know what we want the last episode to be.' Although the fourth series of the beloved show is yet to receive a confirmed release date, fans can expect to wait around two years, as has been the norm for the previous series. Ginny and Georgia series one came out in 2021, series two in 2023, and series three in 2025. And fans are devastated to have to wait, expressing their eagerness for series four on social media. One fan said on X: "Just finished season 3 of Ginny and Georgia. An amazing season, I need season 4 on my desk tomorrow!" Another user wrote: "Just got done with season 3 and Georgia is still mother, Joe is still hot af, Paul DILF card got revoked, not any cringe worthy moments from Ginny, and Ellen still being Georgia best friend throughout every thing with that said give me season 4". Doctor Who's finale infuriated fans – but the next series will fix everything
Doctor Who is in an odd place both in the fictional universe it inhabits and our mundane reality. Last we saw, the tenacious Time Lord Ncuti Gatwa was burning away to reveal the Doctor's new face, and it looked very familiar. For whatever reason, the Last of the Time Lords appeared to have taken on the form of his old companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper). Needless to say, this sudden and unexpected transformation has left a lot of fans very curious – and in some cases downright furious – about what's next for the good doctor. Annoyingly, however, the BBC and Russell T Davies have remained tight-lipped on the situation and at the time of writing, there's been no word on the beloved sci-fi series' future or whether Disney is interested in helping finance another run. So what's a Gallifreyan superfan to do then? Well, here at Metro we've gathered our team of dedicated Doctor Who experts – Deputy TB Editor Tom Percival, TV Reporter Asyia Iftikhar, and Senior TV Reporter Rebecca Cooke – and cracked out the crystal ball to predict what's next for the show, both in terms of the story and the thorny world of TV production. It might just be me, but it seems painfully obvious where Doctor Who is going next. Regardless of Disney's involvement, I think we're getting at least one more special, and I don't believe that Billie is playing a true incarnation of the Doctor. Instead, it seems far more plausible that she's the Bad Wolf entity borrowing the Doctor's body. Basically, in this imagined special, we'd learn that Rose's consciousness exists in the Time Vortex as Bad Wolf. When 15 poured his regeneration energy into the time vortex to bring back Poppy, part of that consciousness merged with the Doctor. Sadly, it's not a true regeneration, and this new 'Meta-Crisis Rose Doctor' has a limited time until the body finishes 'cooking' and the true 16th Doc emerges. In that time, though, she has all Rose's memories and all the Doctor's abilities, so she decides to track down her Doctor… aka David Tennant. Over the course of a special, we then get 'Rose Doctor' travelling through the Doctor's timeline, running into some familiar faces (old companions and some returning Doctors perhaps?) before one final tear-jerking run-in with the 10th Doctor giving closure on Davies' tenure and the revived Doctor Who series. Basically it's one big happy ending. What happens next depends on whether the BBC wants more Doctor Who or not. But either way, I think it'll end with the Rose Doctor regenerating into the true 16th Doctor. This will either lead to a third season or, if the BBC decides it's done with Who, the regeneration will be left open-ended for some future writer to pick up a decade or so from now. Whatever happens, though, I think it's time for some fresh blood, and that means two things. Drop Russell T Davies and leave the nostalgia for New Who behind. Change is part of the show's DNA, and the refusal to 'regenerate' has been holding the series back. Disney will pull out of the deal, and the show will fall back into the BBC's hands, returning with a 2026 festive special by which time they will have chosen the 16th Doctor proper. In the Christmas special, much like Susan's cameo was teased and never addressed again in season two, Billie Piper will make a fleeting appearance before the show quickly moves on. I believe she won't even last the full episode, and her cameo will be resolved perhaps even in the first 5 to 10 minutes, as the Doctor's regeneration goes wacky due to Rose's energy being in the Time Vortex after the Bad Wolf incident. Billie will then regenerate into thetrue16th Doctor, who will have their introductory adventure. The show will then return in 2027 for a full season three (ideally returning to, at least, the 10-episode structure provided for Jodie Whittaker's era) with a brand new companion. Belinda Chandra, Ruby Sunday, the 15th Doctor, and whoever Billie is portraying will be firmly left in the past – and, like you, I hope and assume there will be a new showrunner. It's fair to say the Billie Piper reveal has not gone down well. Most see it as the Whoniverse putting the brand on life support, where the memories of the good ol' heyday of the Russell reboot are intravenously administered to keep the dwindling fanbase hopeful that our ailing Tardis might pull through. So, if an idea like, say, bringing back a beloved companion and defying show logic by making her a Time Lord were to backfire, how best to style it out? This season gave fans a lot of things on their wishlist: big budget, stellar Doctor, lovable companion, some cracking episodes (Lux, The Well, etc). But still, it seemed the only fans tuning in were the meta superfans we met when the Doctor battled Mr Ring-a-Ding. Let's go out on a limb here and say that Disney won't back out. That Rose is the Sixteenth Doctor. (All the logical predictions have been taken.) In order to get fans back in and keep Disney sweet, we might have a big shake-up on our hands. Huge. Piper is so bonkers and out-there a person to appear in the regeneration, it could upset the time-space continuum enough to usher in the new normal: a Doctor-of-the-week format. More Trending Hear me out. Perhaps Piper is explained away with some timey-wimey nonsense, and perhaps it turns out the mechanics of Time Lord-dom are broken. He/she/they is regenerating every hour of television, to be precise. Which Doctor Who prediction do you think is right? So, for a one-off special season, playing the Doctor will be the new equivalent to hosting Saturday Night Live. Or going on Snack Wars. LadBaby admit they used to live on £20 a week as they open up about 'tough' past before bagging FIVE number one singles
LadBaby 's Roxanne Hoyle has opened up on the 'deepest, darkest moments' she and husband Mark endured before they shot to fame, including living on just £20 a week. Roxanne, 41, and Mark, 38, celebrate 10 years of marriage this year after a decade which saw them go from a normal happy couple to some of the most successful social media stars in the country. It all started with Mark making parody songs on his new YouTube channel around 2016, and within just two years the duo had managed to bag the top spot on the UK Singles Chart with We Built This City (On Sausage Rolls). The comedians come musicians amazingly secured number ones in each of the proceeding five years with playful remixes of famous songs - including I Love Sausage Rolls in 2019 and Don't Stop Me Eating in 2021. After years of success, the couple now boast more than a million followers each on Instagram and over a million subscribers on YouTube. But it certainly wasn't all plain sailing for the two members of LadBaby before all their success. In a new interview with New Magazine, Roxanne - better known as LadBaby mum - revealed she and Mark used to live on £20 a week when they first moved in together. 'Well, we met over cocktails in London and fell in love - cheesy but true,' she said. 'When we got pregnant with our first, Mark worked a couple of jobs and I stayed home. We literally had £20 a week to live on - it was joyful, but it was so hard. 'That's why we'll never forget where we came from. That's why we give back, support food banks and do what we do now.' Mark and Roxanne share two sons together - nine-year-old Phoenix and seven-year-old Kobe who have lived through their success. But - as many a celebrity has - LadBaby have struggled with their fair share of online trolls. Roxanne told new! Magazine that even when 'trying to do something nice like a charity song with Ed Sheeran and Elton John', she and her husband have been trolled. The 41-year-old previously revealed that LadBaby first received backlash after unfounded allegations were spread online that they were pocketing money they raised for the Trussell Trust. They received thousands of abusive messages online along with threats in public with Mr Hoyle being confronted in a pub and having to be escorted to safety by bouncers. And after Mark refused to tell The Guardian the couple's political preference in a 2019 interview, they were attacked for being 'Tories'. The abuse became so severe that Mark started to suffer from panic attacks. The police took the case seriously and anti-terror officers were assigned to advise the couple at their home. 'I don't think people realise the impact of that level of trolling, where the police came to support us through that time,' Roxanne said. Most severely, in 2022 the couple were rocked by a video circulating on social media allegedly showing Mark hugging and rubbing up against an unknown woman in a Nottingham nightclub. An 18-second video of the incident had been sent to Mark and Roxanne along with a demand for £10,000 to prevent it from being released. The couple ignored the message hoping the blackmail was just a hoax, but months later the clip was widely shared online. There is no suggestion the touching in the video is non-consensual and the clip was later deleted from TikTok for violating its content terms. In their new memoir - Our LadBaby Journey: Success, Sacrifice and Sausage Rolls - the couple opened up about the reality of getting through the situation. Ahead of the book's release, Mark told The Guardian: 'We were lucky we had each other – that's what we've always said about LadBaby, the good and the bad.' And as the couple celebrate a decade of marriage, Roxanne said they're still 'best mates' having 'been through so much and come out stronger'.
