Person Falls Into Lake During Cleveland Browns' Helmet Reveal
Here's a video that probably won't make it into the Cleveland Browns' end of the season highlights reel. Though it may go onto a different kind of highlight reel.
On Wednesday, the Browns did a special video while recording the reveal of their new "Alpha Dog" helmet design for the 2025 season. They decided to try and make it unique by recording the video on a raft on Lake Erie.
In hindsight, that probably wasn't the best course of action. The cameraperson was all the way at the corner of the raft recording it and when they brushed up against the rope, they fell into the lake.
The cameraperson was fine and was quickly thrown a floatation device, but the jokes flew in quickly:
"It's the Mascot's casual toss of the flotation device for me. Bro had zero concern," one user wrote.
"It's like the Raiders and Browns continue to fight it out for who can go viral for all the wrong reasons," another remarked.
"Is there anything more Browns?" a third wondered.
"No worries. I hear the person who fell has a guaranteed contract."
"It's the Cleveland Browns. Of course something was bound to happen."
"At least it wasn't one of those guys in costume....that would be a scary situation."
"The (season hasn't) even started yet and the Browns are falling apart."
"They may make our fall Sundays miserable, but there is never a dull moment."
"Is it possible (should it?) to have Goodell just cancel the Browns season? Literally no one wants to watch them, including their own fans I bet."
There definitely isn't a great deal of optimism for the Browns heading into this season. Even if the team didn't have holes everywhere, the team's wild quarterback situation has just about everyone in Ohio feeling nervous right now.Person Falls Into Lake During Cleveland Browns' Helmet Reveal first appeared on The Spun on Jul 23, 2025

BetMGM raises 2025 forecast on strong iGaming, sports betting growth
(Reuters) -U.S. sports-betting service BetMGM, a joint venture between Entain and MGM Resorts, has raised its full-year 2025 revenue and core earnings forecast after posting a 35% rise in first-half revenue, helped by strong demand in online sports betting and its iGaming division. Growth in player volumes and engagement helped lift iGaming revenue by 28% in the first half, Entain said. Founded in 2018, BetMGM has been expanding its digital footprint to tap into the fast-growing U.S. e-betting market amid stiff competition. BetMGM now expects revenue of at least $2.7 billion and core earnings of at least $150 million in fiscal year 2025, Entain said. It had earlier forecast revenue of at least $2.6 billion, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of at least $100 million. Sign in to access your portfolio
