James Haskell almost bares all as he shows off weight loss in very revealing snap

Daily Mirror2 days ago
Former rugby union star James Haskell split from his wife of five years, Chloe Madeley in 2024, but it looks like he has been working on his revenge body in recent months
Former rugby union star James Haskell has shown off his weight loss transformation by leaving very little to the imagination in a daring towel snap. Fans had noticed the 40-year-old he was looking like he'd slimmed down in photos from a tennis event earlier this month.

James, who split up with his wife of five years Chloe Madeley last year, wore a tight-fitting t-shirt to the event, held at 601 Queen's Road in London, for Lady Wimbledon's Rooftop Tennis Party. But the I'm A Celebrity star has gone one step further this morning, sharing a photo of himself naked in a hotel room.

Dad-of-one James was completely in the nude, except for a necklace and a tiny portion of a white towel, which he held over his crotch to make the photo just about SFW. He smiled into the camera has he strategically placed the towel at his front but didn't caption the photo.

His other Story posts saw him DJing at an event and watching the rugby. James' weight has yo-yoed over the years. From his muscular rugby days, to his leaner physique when he left the I'm A Celebrity jungle, to his current toned-up body now.
The sports star, who became a tech-house DJ in recent years, has spoken openly about his changing body. After leaving his rugby career behind, having spent most of his years with the London Wasps, he announced he was retiring in 2019.

He joined the I'm A Celebrity cast the same year, and his diet drastically changed from gorging on 4,000 calories a day, to eating the measly in-camp meals of rice and beans. Dropping to around 700 calories a day, James looked visibly slimmed down when he left the jungle - but admitted later his 10kg loss was mostly muscle mass, telling the presenters Joel Dommett and Emily Atack he was "wasting away."
He told Extra Camp while he was on the ITV reality show: "I never thought I would look at a menu and chose crocodile feet. We're still only getting 700 calories per day.
"We're slowly wasting away, but wasting away with dignity!" Speaking about the campmates' attempts to spruce up their meals, he added: "We're literally scraping the barrel of discovering different ways of cooking rice and beans and trying to add some flavour."

Just after leaving the jungle, the UK was plunged into lockdown amid the Covid pandemic, causing him to lose another 19lbs thanks to a strict diet. He shared some comparison photos of his body on Instagram, writing: "I got bored in lockdown 2 and saw how big I could get... 130kgs.
"Lockdown 3 I have gone the other way. I'm 8 weeks in and have gone from 122kgs to 113kgs."

He added that he had been training remotely with a PT, adding: "The idea is to get leaner now and then build back up slowly over the coming week. It's been really fun to have a goal and stick to it. It gives you purpose, routine and discipline. All things we strive on as humans."
Haskell split up with his wife of five years Chloe Madelely in 2024, with the former couple still co-parenting their two-year-old Bodhi, who turns three in August. Recently, James has admitted that he was to blame for the end of his relationship with Chloe, who is the daughter of former This Morning hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.
He revealed to the Mail: "If I put more time into my marriage than I did Guinness, then I wouldn't be divorced now. It's one of those things in life where some things don't work out, but I have so much love for my daughter and Chloe. It's teamwork.
'What we all forget is when you have children and a marriage finishes, it's all about the kids. Chloe and I are amazing co-parents. Our priority is always Bodhi."

Inside England Lioness Chloe Kelly's marriage to husband Scott Moore

Chloe Kelly is the woman of the hour at the moment after securing the Lionesses' win at Euro 2025. The England women's football team triumphed over Spain in a nail-biting final that saw Kelly, 27, score the winning goal during penalties. It marks the first time an England team has won a major trophy on foreign soil. Among the proud loved ones celebrating the team's monumental achievement is Kelly's husband, Scott Moore, who shared a touching message on his Instagram page. 'Speechless once again,' he wrote, along with two silver heart emoji. 'I'm so grateful to have you by my side,' Chloe added when she shared the post to her own Instagram Stories. Kelly maintains a fairly private life, but it is thought that she began dating the Everton groundsman after they met when she was playing for the team. Opening up on how they met, Kelly told Vogue: 'One day I held the door for him, and ever since that day he kept saying he was going to message me. 'When he did slide into my DMs, I didn't see it for ages, because it was in my requests folder, and then when I did see it I was like, 'Who is this?' But when I saw a few people that I knew had followed him, I realised, I must know him!' They then went on an unlikely first date to IKEA, and the rest is history. 'We got a little monkey and every time I see it, it reminds me of when we went to IKEA,' she told The Sun. Moore proposed in 2023 during a trip to Finland, popping the question under the Northern Lights. Here's to forever with you.' Speaking about the moment on the NearlyWeds Podcast, Kelly lightly ribbed Moore over what made her happier – the proposal, or her winning goal at the 2023 Euros. 'The wedding's not been yet, so I'm going to say the winning goal,' she teased. The couple tied the knot in 2024 after being together for five years in a picturesque ceremony at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire. She walked down the aisle in an incredible, intricate white lace dress with bridesmaid team-mates Ruby Mace and Steph Houghton. Their one-year wedding anniversary fell during the Euros, with Kelly admitting she hadn't had much time to celebrate among training and playing. 'I haven't even got a card, to be honest,' she said before the tournament began. 'I'm sure in the moment, I'll think of something and get my mum to sort it More Trending 'But no, we are just taking it each game as it comes, and we've got a huge game coming up, and we know that we need to be at our best for that, so not looking too far ahead. 'I'm sure Scott has, but I definitely haven't.' Moore has been supportive of Kelly's career, regularly attending her games as well as celebrating her achievements online. During their final Euro match, Kelly's shinpads bore an image of her and Moore kissing during their wedding, a touching tribute to their relationship. Got a story? Jahmai Simpson-Pusey to Celtic could prove major coup after what Pep Guardiola said about Man City prodigy

Brendan Rodgers is said to be lining up a loan swoop for the highly-rated England youth international Celtic are said to be lining up a loan move for Manchester City defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey. ‌ And the teenage star has already been tipped as the future of the Citizens' defence by Pep Guardiola. ‌ Highly-rated Simpson-Pusey, 19, burst onto the scene at the Etihad last season and immediately caught the eye. ‌ The England youth international made six first-team appearances - including two Champions League outings against Sporting Lisbon and Feyenoord. Simpson-Pusey was also crowned EPL 2 Player of the Year after captaining Man City's reserves to title glory, seeing off competition from Hoops new Bhoy Callum Osmand at Fulham. The youngster actually faced Celtic during City's pre-season tour of the USA in 2024, as Brendan Rodgers' side edged out 4-3 winners. He was then called upon by Guardiola throughout the campaign as the dethroned Premier League champions suffered an injury crisis. And the breakthrough talent seriously impressed his manager, with Guardiola hailing him as one for the future after his display in a 2-1 defeat at Brighton. All-conquering Guardiola said: 'The guy played really good, the young lad again, with this composure and duels and everything was good. It's not easy for him. ‌ 'Normally the young lads, they must come in with support from the team, with Rodri in front of them, right? With the best Kyle [Walker], and defenders, and now we support him. 'Now he's playing in a position that is difficult for him, but he performed unbelievably. We have a central defender to help us for the future, for the next years. I'm really pleased. Always there is good news when the situation goes bad, and this is one of them.' Guardiola revealed in December that he was tempted to throw in the rising star in the heat of a Manchester derby. He added: 'For example against (Manchester) United I thought to put Jahmai (Simpson-Pusey); he's played really good, but that pressure in that situation, it's a little bit…' Having offloaded Gustaf Lagerbielke and Maik Nawrocki, Celtic are in the market for more defensive cover. ‌ At least one winger, midfielder and main striker are also on Rodgers' wishlist as the champions kick off their title defence this weekend. Coronation Street actress lands part in rival soap after splitting from co-star

Tisha Merry, who is best known for having played Steph Britton on Coronation Street, has been cast in a special edition of Hollyoaks. Former Coronation Street star Tisha Merry has been cast in Hollyoaks. ‌ The actress, 32, became known for starring as Steph Britton on ITV's flagship soap from 2013 until 2018 but has now landed the part of Gemma in Channel 4's post-watershed version of continuing drama series in time for the show's 30th anniversary and will be linked to Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), who is making a return to the programme. She said: "I'm absolutely over the moon to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks. It's a fabulous opportunity and an incredible time to join as they celebrate their 30th birthday week." ‌ Describing her new alter-ego's bubbly personality, she added: "Gemma is flirty, feisty, and the kind of woman you'd want as your best friend… but never your enemy. She's bold, unpredictable, and trust me when I say, she'll be entering with a bang. I can't wait for you all to meet her." ‌ Meanwhile, Jamie, who is also known for his role as Jake Stone on EastEnders, is making another comeback to Hollyoaks ahead of the milestone teased that the special will see him as his alter-ego 'starts afresh' following his split from Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe). He said: "Warren has been busy since you last saw him, wanting to rebuild his empire and start afresh after the heartbreak with Mercedes. We'll be filming a lot on location and they're pulling out all the stops so I'm looking forward to it." ‌ Little is known about the plot of the episode, but Jorgie Porter will also make a comeback as Theresa McQueen following her maternity leave from the programme, and she said: "It's really exciting to be a part of Laters, I've been in so many over the years and they're always my favourite – hopefully I get a swear word this time. "Theresa is scheming with an unlikely business partner and its fun to see her living life on the edge again. It's incredible to time my return with the Hollyoaks 30th birthday week too, I couldn't miss it." During her time as Bistro waitress Steph on Coronation Street, Tisha saw the character through a number of storylines after being introduced as the best friend of Katy Armstong (Georgia May Foote). Amongst the most prominent were her becoming a victim of revenge porn at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, and she later struck up a relationship with Andy Carver (Oliver Farnworth), before he was killed by Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre). The builder also murdered Steph's brother Luke Britton, and she made her last appearance when attending his funeral. ‌ But away from the cameras, Tisha also found love with her co-star Alan Halsall, who still plays Tyrone Dobbs to this day. They were in a relationship for five years but announced announced their split in February 2024 after five years of together. At the time, a source told The Sun: 'Alan and Tisha ... started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them. They realised they weren't on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option. They've been focusing on themselves and surrounding themselves with their own friends. Tisha moved out of Alan's home around a month ago and is throwing herself into work.' Before dating Tisha, Alan was married to former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson. The actress played Katy Harris on the soap from 2002 until 2005 before going on to play Donna-Marie Quinn on Hollyoaks. They were married in 2009 and welcomed a daughter together - but the romance collapsed and they were divorced in 2018. ‌ Lucy-Jo has since welcomed a second child - a son named Carter Ray whose father is Lewis Devine. While Alan and Lucy-Jo co-parent their daughter, Lucy-Jo has spoken out about how difficult she sometimes finds this - particularly when Alan would take their daughter away on holiday. She wrote on social media last year: "It's been almost 6 years of me having to share my Sienna, and you'd think I'd be used to it by now but I'm not!" And former I'm A Me Out Of Here! contestant Alan,42, who has starred as Tyrone on the cobbles since 1998, recently looked loved-up with a new girlfriend Ellie Dolan as he attended the wedding of Corrie's Jack P Shepherd over the weekend. And by attending the Celebrity Big Brother winner's wedding, it looks as though their budding romance appears to be going from strength to strength. At the time, a source explained to the Mirror: "Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl and they have lots of common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan. Sienna is his world."
