Albert Einstein will miss Royal Ascot having been huge 6-4 favourite for the Coventry Stakes on day one

And now awesome two-year-old speedster Albert Einstein is the latest big name to be pulled.
The Coolmore-owned monster, who is two from two and won from a nightmare position in the Marble Hill Stakes last time, had been as short as 11-10 for the Coventry Stakes on day one.
For many he was one of the big bets of the meeting, with second-fav Treanmor being as big as 6-1.
But a tweet from Ballydoyle read: "Gr.3 Marble Hill Stakes winner Albert Einstein unfortunately will not run at Royal Ascot due to a sprained joint. He will have an easy three weeks."

Owners remove £195,000 Grade 2-winning horse from Gordon Elliott's yard with his blessing and send to his protege
It was Elliott's suggestion the horse could benefit from a move FIND THE SPARK Owners remove £195,000 Grade 2-winning horse from Gordon Elliott's yard with his blessing and send to his protege GORDON ELLIOTT has given his blessing to a £195,000 Grade 2-winning superstar being removed from his yard - and sent to his protege. The legendary Irish handler believes a change of scenery at Olly Murphy's Warren Chase stables in Warwickshire could spark him back into life. Advertisement 2 American Mike actually beat future Ryanair winner Fact To File on chase debut - but has failed to hit the same heights since Credit: Sportsfile 2 Olly Murphy, who was former assistant to Gordon Elliott, will be tasked with bringing American Mike back to his best, after he left Elliott's Meath yard with his blessing Credit: PA American Mike, who is owned by Noel and Valerie Moran's Bective Stud, has some amazing back form but hasn't quite hit the heights expected. He beat subsequent Ryanair winner Fact To File by more than three lengths on chase debut. And he got the better of this year's Grand National hero Nick Rockett in a 3m chase on heavy at Navan in February 2024. But the eight-year-old son of Mahler hasn't won since - finishing in the places only once from seven further runs. Advertisement Elliott thinks the time is right to send him to Bet365 Gold Cup-winning trainer Murphy, his former assistant, to work his magic. Murphy has been busy in the horse transfer market this summer. He has acquired Cormac Farrell's recent Galway Listed hurdle winner Sticktotheplan. And former Nicky Henderson inmate Kingston Pride has arrived too after being sold for £285,000. Advertisement Both of those come loaded with potential, while the goal with American Mike is to bring him back to his former glory. Murphy told Racing TV's Josh Stacey: "He's been a horse who hasn't quite reached the expectations as a novice it looked like he might. "I am just starting to get to know him. "Gordon filled me in about him and it was actually Gordon who said the change of scenery would do him good. Advertisement "I'm very lucky to have a horse like him and hopefully he can be competitive in some handicap chases. "We're working as a team. Owners Noel and Valerie Moran who sponsor Gordon's yard are also good supporters of me. "Hopefully just a change of scenery will spark a small bit of a revival. "Albeit he has some good form from last season so it's not like he's completely gone off the face of the earth. Advertisement "We're not just trying to find something that was there three years ago, he has got recent form as well." Tottenham and PSG fans banned from buying anything but BEER ahead of Super Cup as bar leaves notes saying ‘blame Uefa'
Local residents have also been slapped with the restriction Beer we go Tottenham and PSG fans banned from buying anything but BEER ahead of Super Cup as bar leaves notes saying 'blame Uefa' TOTTENHAM and Paris Saint-Germain fans may be preparing for their teams to face off on the pitch, but they have been united in dismay after being banned from buying anything but beer. Europa League winners, Spurs, are gearing up to face the Champions League winners, PSG, for tonight's Uefa Super Cup clash in Udine, Italy. However, as thousands of fans from across Europe travel there for the 8pm clash, the city council has put a bizarre restriction in place against footy fanatics. Footage captured by SunSport in the city showed that alcoholic spirits such as rum, whisky and vodka had all been taken down from behind a bar, with even wine being missing in action. Instead, the only thing that was allowed to be served to thirsty patrons was beer. Advertisement A note written on a piece of paper taped up on the wall where spirits would typically revealed why they were not serving anything but beer. The note, written in bold red ink, said: "Say thanks to the Uefa," with another one underneath that adding: "It's not our fault." Even locals were hit with the restriction. A Udine policeman said: "These are the rules and it is beer only. Alcohol is not the only thing to be axed ahead of the final, after Spurs gaffer Thomas Frank revealed Yves Bissouma had been banished from the Super Cup squad following disciplinary issues. James Maddison could miss 2025-26 season as Tottenham confirm midfielder suffered ACL injury Speaking to reporters before his first competitive game as the north London clubs manager, he said: "Bissouma has not travelled with the team because of disciplinary reasons. 'With everything you need to give your players a lot of love but also have demands and there also need to be consequences and this time there was a consequence for that. "For me there has been, how can I say it, a consequence for this trip and then I will follow up when I come home. "I will park it now because there is a relatively important game for tomorrow. Advertisement "The captain will be announced for the squad tomorrow. The leadership group will be named at the end of this month." A similar problem has also occurred in PSG's camp, with star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma being unceremoniously cut from the squad by boss Luis Enrique. The former Barcelona manager said: "Donnarumma is out of the squad as it's my own decision. I am 100 per cent responsible. "These are always difficult decisions, I know that. I can only speak very well of Gigio Donnarumma, he is one of the best players in his role, no doubt. Advertisement "He is an even better person, but we are looking for a different kind of goalkeeper. It is always difficult to manage these kinds of situations." Donnarumma, 26, released a statement venting his frustration - as reports said he was moving closer to a stunning Manchester City transfer. The angry Italian said: "Unfortunately, someone has decided that I can no longer be part of the group and contribute to the team's success. I am disappointed and disheartened. 'I hope to have the opportunity to look the fans at the Parc des Princes in the eyes one more time and say goodbye as it should be done.' Yves Bissouma axed by Tottenham for Super Cup over disciplinary issue
Yves Bissouma has been left out of Tottenham's Super Cup squad for disciplinary reasons in an unhelpful distraction to Thomas Frank's attempt to mark his debut with silverware. Frank will take charge of his first competitive match as Spurs head coach on Wednesday at Stadio Friuli in Udine and could lift a trophy if they can upset Champions League winners Paris St Germain. Bissouma has been left at home after being late 'several times' this summer, but Frank has Dominic Solanke available and will aim to mark his Tottenham bow with further cup glory after predecessor Ange Postecoglou masterminded Europa League success in May. Ange Postecoglou lifts the Europa League trophy after Tottenham's win in the final against Manchester United (Andrew Milligan/PA) 'I think for the team, for me, for everybody involved at Tottenham Hotspur, it's a massive game,' Frank reflected. 'A great challenge and an even bigger opportunity. That's how my brain works, I see opportunities instead of pressure or whatever. So for me, massive opportunity and we will definitely embrace it. 'My players, our players, they just won a big trophy six or seven weeks ago, so they had a fantastic experience of doing that and they want to win more. 'It was a great feeling, everything I heard about it, fantastic experience, so the players will be ready.' Even though PSG only returned to pre-season training last Wednesday following the Club World Cup, Spurs enter this fixture under-strength with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski long-term absentees and Destiny Udogie still sidelined. It makes the omission of Bissouma all the more eye-catching and could spell the end of his time at the club given the Mali international, who started the Europa League final, is into the final 12 months of his contract. He has been late several times and the latest time was one too many. Frank explained: 'Bissouma has not travelled with the team because of disciplinary reasons. 'He has been late several times and the latest time was one too many. 'With everything you need to give your players a lot of love but also have demands and there also need to be consequences and this time there was a consequence for that. 'I will follow up when I come home. I will park it now because there is a relatively important game for tomorrow.' Summer recruits Joao Palhinha and Mohammed Kudus are expected to make their debuts against PSG but Frank will largely turn to the squad that ended Tottenham's 17-year trophy drought under Postecoglou. Guglielmo Vicario was a key figure in their Europa League run and acknowledged how special it will be to play for a trophy in his home city of Udine. Guglielmo Vicario will be on home soil (John Walton/PA) 'Personally, it will be an emotional day but as soon as we get close to kick-off emotions have to stay away and we have to be focused on what we have to deliver on the pitch,' Vicario promised. 'It will be an amazing game and we need to be ready to win. 'We have set the tone and we want to repeat and to do it again. We have tasted the feeling and this feeling is amazing so we want to do it again and we have the opportunity tomorrow with another European final.' Tottenham will announce their new captain on Wednesday after Son Heung-min left to join Los Angeles. Ben Davies, Spurs' longest-serving player after his 2015 arrival, added: 'We lost Sonny and he was a big part of the dressing room and obviously a huge player for us. 'We are definitely going to feel his loss but ultimately the senior guys in this team have to be here to support everyone.'
