Al-Rashid Street Massacre - Gaza: Genocide in its most brutal "Israeli" form
Sana'a - Saba: What happened on Al-Rashid Street, northwest of the Gaza Strip, on Sunday, in which unarmed aid recipients were lured and then executed in a bloody and crude manner, as much as it reflects the reality of the extent of the Israeli entity's barbarity , brutality and its persistence in the massacres of the crime of extermination; it also reflects, at the same time, the complicity of the entire world, which remains silent and resorts to (theatrical) talk when necessary, in the face of the repetition of these massacres on a daily basis throughout the besieged Gaza Strip. This complicity makes the world and the Western world in particular, led by European , North American countries, the Arab and Islamic regimes cannot be bypassed here, as all of them, in the court of conscience and history, are de facto partners in the Israeli enemy's massacres and crimes in Palestine, especially its massacres against the starving people waiting for aid. In all parts of the world, the murderer is prosecuted, or at least remains threatened with prosecution; except for the Israeli enemy army, which practices daily killing for the sake of killing, in the context of the ongoing crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip; a crime that is repeated daily, and every day with a more brutal criminal act, for more than 21 months; in full view and hearing of the whole world; yet the world has not dared to stand in respect for its cultural , intellectual heritage and its civilised human history at the expense of the consideration it places on the balance of power. This is an indication of an unprecedented crisis of human conscience; a crisis clearly revealed by the massacres in the Gaza Strip. Indeed, these massacres have put all the values of human civilisation to the test; they represent a test of all human values; on this test, and in this test so far, it can be said: Humanity is naked, and it stands powerless to say to the criminal duo in Gaza ("Israel" and the United States): Stop! Today, Sunday, more than seventy starving aid recipients were martyred; they were executed; after they were lured to the (trap) with their hands raised, and there they were hunted in cold blood with live bullets; dozens were killed and injured, in a massacre that is repeated daily in the Gaza Strip; the guilty parties here are those in charge of the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, run by the United States , the Israeli entity, the world stands behind it with its silence and complicity in the crimes of the entity's army. The Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights, based in Geneva, considered that luring starving civilians and then executing them reveals a brutal pattern of genocide committed by "Israel". The Observatory said in a statement that the occupation army committed one of the most heinous massacres against starving civilians after ordering them to come forward, raise their hands and then open fire on them directly. "We documented that the occupation army opened fire on the civilians as they approached the aid trucks in a deliberate killing crime that is not justified by any military consideration and reflects an unprecedented level of brutality," it added. The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the number of aid victims among the starving population has risen to 995 martyrs, 6,011 injured and 45 missing. In a statement, he said that these victims were martyred, injured and missing by the Israeli enemy forces while trying to obtain food from the "death traps" while waiting to receive aid since 27 May 2025 until today. In this regard, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) considered the massacre committed by the terrorist Zionist enemy army against starving civilians at the aid distribution point near the "Zikim" area in the northern Gaza Strip, on Sunday, as a continuation of the brutal crime of extermination. Hamas said in a statement that the Zionist enemy army uses aid and starvation to lure, kill and abuse innocent people. It added: "What is happening in the Gaza Strip is a major crime in which killing, starvation and thirst are used as a tool for ethnic cleansing and genocide, which calls on the world to act immediately to put an end to this humanitarian tragedy that the Zionist enemy government, led by the war criminal Netanyahu, is deepening." It also asked: "How can the world remain silent about the death of more than seventy children due to malnutrition, while the majority of the population of the Gaza Strip is subjected to mass death as a result of the siege and the declared policy of starvation imposed by the Zionist enemy on the Gaza Strip for 140 days?" The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned in the strongest terms the hideous massacre committed by the Israeli enemy on Sunday in the Gaza Strip, which killed and wounded dozens of people who were waiting for humanitarian aid in the Sudanese areas northwest of Gaza, and around the so-called "American aid centres" south of Khan Younis, which turned into "death traps". It stressed that the heinous massacre committed by the Israeli enemy army on Sunday in the Gaza Strip, which killed more than 70 martyrs and wounded dozens of unarmed civilians, who were waiting for humanitarian aid, is a confirmation of the criminal nature of the Zionist enemy. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) affirmed that the brutal massacre committed by the Zionist enemy against dozens of Palestinian citizens in the northern Gaza Strip today, Sunday, represents a new pattern of using hunger as a tool in the escalating extermination operations against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the Front explained that the massacre targeted a large number of citizens in the north-west of the Gaza Strip, who had gathered in search of food and waiting for the arrival of any aid, before the Zionist enemy forced them to enter one of its military presence points with their hands raised, then opened fire on them, killing and wounding dozens, while the fate of many of them is still unknown. On Sunday, the Resistance Committees in Palestine called for "a global popular uprising, demonstrations and marches that sweep the streets and city centres in the capitals of the whole world to raise the voice loudly in the face of the escalating Zionist Nazism against the Palestinian people who are being annihilated , crushed by bombardment and starvation." In a press statement, it] said that the criminal Zionist enemy continues to commit massacres and massacres and target the Palestinian people waiting for aid in a deliberate and calculated manner, which led to the death of dozens of innocent and starving people, considering this "a continuation of the comprehensive war of extermination against our Palestinian people with all its components." She added: The US aid institution has turned into ambushes, traps and traps to kill, slaughter and engineer the policy of starvation, which has reached its highest levels, and famine has hit all corners, joints and aspects of the Gaza Strip. On Sunday, the Palestinian Ahrar Movement blamed the US administration and the European Union for all the war crimes and starvation of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The movement said in a statement, "Once again, the Zionist Nazi enemy continues to target the starving people of our people waiting for humanitarian aid in the Zakim area in the northern Gaza Strip, where more than sixty martyrs and dozens of wounded have been killed in this massacre and heinous crime, amid a suspicious international silence about the Zionist enemy's continuous crimes and the crime of genocide and starvation." The International Committee to Support the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashd) said on Sunday that the Israeli enemy authorities are using famine as a weapon as part of the "total war of extermination" against the population of the Gaza Strip, which has entered its second year amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions. In a statement quoted by Shihab Agency, the head of the Commission, Dr Salah Abdel Ati, said that the occupation continues to implement systematic policies aimed at killing civilians, destroying infrastructure, and weakening Palestinian institutions in an attempt to weaken the resistance and facilitate the implementation of its plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. On Sunday, Mahmoud Basal, the spokesperson for the Civil Defence in the Gaza Strip, said in a statement, "I am Mahmoud Basal, a Palestinian citizen, a free human being, and for days I have been surviving on crumbs of food, like more than two million citizens, and due to the lack of availability of basic food in the Gaza Strip, I announced my complete hunger strike starting today, Sunday 20 July 2025, in protest against the catastrophic famine hitting Gaza, and in solidarity with more than two million people left to face death by starvation in a shameful global silence. He continued: "What is happening in Gaza is not just a crisis, but a documented crime committed against an entire people. Children are dying of hunger and aid is being denied for flimsy political reasons. "The use of starvation as a weapon of war is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a breach of all the principles that humanity claims to uphold."
