Gauri Khan Opens Up On Renovation Work At Mannat: 'It Will Take…' | Exclusive
Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri Khan and their three children have temporarily relocated to a lavish rented duplex in Bandra as their home, Mannat, undergoes a renovation. Gauri, a celebrity interior designer, designed the entire look of Mannat herself. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, she shared an update on how Mannat 2.0 is coming together.
After solidifying her position as an interior designer with her flagship store in Mumbai, Gauri Khan is all set to extend her branches to Delhi too. She opened her first-ever Gauri Khan Designs experience centre in the National Capital, which is a by-appointment only service. While talking about her new horizons, Gauri also spoke about how the renovation of Mannat is shaping up. She said that work in her home is currently under progress, and her renovated house should come around in the next one year.
At present, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and their children (Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam) are residing in a rented duplex located in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra. The family has reportedly leased two luxurious duplex apartments in Puja Casa, a property owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani. According to reports, the monthly rent for the space amounts to a whopping Rs 24 lakh. Two new floors are reportedly being added to Mannat's existing structure, which already boasts sweeping sea views and opulent interiors.
About SRK-Gauri's home Mannat
Mannat, the legendary sea-facing residence of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, stands as a stunning architectural landmark in Bandra (West), Mumbai, along the iconic Bandstand promenade. A Grade III heritage property, the opulent structure was once known as 'Villa Vienna," a heritage bungalow dating back to 1914, the property was acquired by SRK in 2001. He renamed it Mannat – a word symbolising a heartfelt wish or prayer – after associating it with his own journey to success.
Spread across approximately 27,000 square feet, Mannat combines a grand neo-classical exterior with a sleek six-storey modern annexe at the rear. With an estimated value of Rs 200 crore, it ranks among the most opulent celebrity homes in the country.
The interiors have been carefully designed by Gauri Khan in collaboration with architect Kaif Faquih. The home boasts expansive living spaces, a luxurious library, state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, a private theatre rich in Bollywood memorabilia, multiple elevators, and tastefully designed bedrooms.

Housefull 5 Day 6 India Box Office: Akshay Kumar led killer-comedy nets Rs 7.75 crore; Zooms past Rs 100 crore mark

The Akshay Kumar led Housefull 5 continues its theatrical run with a reasonable performance at the Indian box office. On its sixth day, a working Wednesday, the killer comedy has netted around Rs 7.5-8 crore, according to trends. This brings Housefull 5 's total India net collections to approximately Rs 108 crore, officially crossing the coveted Rs 100 crore mark and solidifying its position as the second fastest film in the Housefull franchise to achieve this milestone. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 has leveraged its massive star cast and the franchise's signature slapstick humor to maintain stable footfalls. The film, which features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and others, needs to hold strong in the days to follow, for a respectable final number. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Housefull 5 Are As Under The hold on Wednesday is quite decent given that the Tuesday number was stronger than usual because of the 'Discount Tuesday' offer in top chains. Today's collections give a sense of stability but it is still too early to call. The second weekend needs to punch above its weight for the movie to have a chance of a Rs 200 crore lifetime. Internationally, the film is doing well and it eyes a number in the vicinity of USD 7.5-8 million (Rs 65-69.50 crore) The film's unique dual-ending format, with versions Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B offering different climaxes to its murder-mystery plot, continues to generate curiosity among audiences. However, the showcasing is lopsided with version A now getting close to 70 percent of the shows as compared to 30 percent for version B. By the 2nd weekend, it will be no surprise if the ratio further tilts in favour of version A. Housefull 5 plays in theatres now. Have you watched the madcap comedy? If yes, which version of the movie did you watch? A or B?
