
Plus One admission: 5,729 students get supplementary allotment
Of the 14,333 applications received, 14,056 applications were considered for allotment to 29,069 vacant seats.
As many as 23,340 seats remain vacant after the second supplementary allotment, while 8,327 students are yet to get allotment.
In Malappuram where 4,149 applications were considered for allotment, 1,605 students got allotment. Only 471 vacancies remain in the district for the remaining 2,544 applicants.
In Palakkad, only 799 of the 3,336 valid applications secured allotment. Only 316 seats are left for the remaining 2,537 applicants in the district.
In Kozhikode where only 995 allotments were made, 416 seats remain vacant for 1,241 students yet to get allotment.
The maximum number of vacant seats left is in Kollam – 3,040. Here, of the 95 valid applications, 93 were given allotment, leaving only two students yet to get allotment.
In Pathanamthitta where 2,931 merit seats are vacant, 100% allotments were made. In Alappuzha, 2,795 seats are left though only two students are awaiting allotment still.
In the model residential school category, 14 students secured allotment. Six students are yet to get allotment, while 361 seats are vacant in this category.
Admissions as per the second supplementary allotment will be held from 10 a.m. on Wednesday to 4 p.m. on Thursday. Those who have secured allotment should take admission.
Vacancy and application submission for district/inter-district transfer will be held from July 19 to 21. Allotment as per the transfer allotment will be held from July 25 to 28. Vacancies after this will be published to facilitate spot admission. The admission procedures for this year will conclude on July 31.

Plus One: admission to vacant seats on July 31
Admission to vacant seats remaining after various allotments for Plus One higher secondary admission will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday on the basis of rank-list published on the admission website at 9 a.m. Students who had applied for admission in the merit quota but had not got allotment had been given time till 4 p.m. on Wednesday to apply for admission to seats that still remained vacant. On Thursday, students must track through the rank-list school/course that offered the most possibility of admission and with the 'Candidate's Rank' report and other documents report for admission. Admission to vacant seats in model residential schools will be also held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Kerala to give HPV vaccines to Class 11, 12 students to prevent cervical cancer
In a major public health initiative, the Kerala Health Department has decided to administer the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to Plus One and Plus Two students across the state to prevent cervical cancer. Health Minister Veena George announced the plan following a high-level meeting held under her vaccine, which is most effective when administered between the ages of 9 and 14, can be given up to the age of 26. The final decision on the rollout will be taken in a technical committee meeting scheduled within a week. Minister Veena George said the move is in line with the Chief Minister's directive to work towards a cervical cancer-free cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting women, and the HPV vaccine is considered a key preventive measure. To ensure effective implementation, the state will also launch an awareness campaign tailored for both students and their parents. Special messaging will be developed as per the recommendations of the technical committee and delivered at the school level. The vaccination drive is part of a broader cancer prevention strategy in the state. Kerala has already formed a cancer care grid to coordinate diagnosis and treatment services.
