Craig Hodges wants his former Chicago Bulls teammates, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, to end their ongoing beef.
On a recent episode of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson's podcast, All The Smoke , Hodges, arguably one of the best 3-point shooters in NBA history, not named Steph Curry, touched on a range of topics while reflecting on his career.
Following the release of ESPN's Jordan-produced fantastic sports docuseries The Last Dance , sports fans were shocked to learn that Jordan and Pippen are not besties. The latter did not feel how he and his fellow teammates were portrayed in the docuseries, which he touched on in his 2021 memoir, Unguarded .
'Each episode was the same: Michael on a pedestal, his teammates secondary, smaller, the message no different from when he referred to us back then as his 'supporting cast,'' Pippen wrote. 'From one season to the next, we received little or no credit whenever we won, but the bulk of the criticism when we lost. Michael could shoot 6 for 24 from the field, commit 5 turnovers, and he was still, in the minds of the adoring press and public, the Errorless Jordan.'
Pip was also BIG MAD about how much Jordan was paid to do The Last Dance .
'To make things worse, Michael received $10 million for his role in the doc while my teammates and I didn't earn a dime, another reminder of the pecking order from the old days. For an entire season, we allowed cameras into the sanctity of our locker rooms, our practices, our hotels, our huddles… our lives .' Craig Hodges On The Jordan/Pippen Beef
Hodges touched on the beef between two of the league's 50 greatest players, telling the podcast hosts that he wants them to end their beef.
Per Newsweek :
'He was under the influence of 23 [Jordan],' Hodges said, explaining that Jordan took Pippen under his wing and helped him grow into the All-NBA superstar he would eventually become. 'So he [was] the little brother. I think to some degree, that's still there, in that little rift they're having, but, lord willing, it'll come together, because everybody's got children and grand babies now, man. We too old for that s—.'
During the episode, Hodges also touched on how he was effectively blackballed from the league following a visit to the George H.W. Bush White House in 1991 that Michael Jordan skipped for what he said at the time were scheduling conflicts with a family vacation.
The Last Dance documentary would reveal that to be false and that Jordan was playing golf with James 'Slim' Bouler. Bouler would be charged with money laundering and drug charges, and Jordan revealed, while testifying 12 months later, that the $57,000 check he wrote Bouler, which was a loan for a golf-driving range, was actually to cover his gambling debts.
Hodges speaks of being singled out following the jumpshot moment, and after his letter, he wrote to Bush.
Damn.
It was a very insightful interview. We hope MJ and Pip bury the hatchet; we can't have these two beefing forever.

How Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson balance work and real-life relationships with NFL's biggest stars
Fox Sports personalities Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson lifted the lid on their close bond with the NFL's biggest stars following their offseason vacation with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. During a fan Q&A on the latest installment of their 'Calm Down' podcast, Andrews and Thompson didn't hold back when asked how they balance being professional and having 'fan energy' while interviewing the league's megastars. 'I don't,' said Andrews, 47, who is Fox's lead sideline reporter and covered Super Bowl 2025 in February. 'I'm a huge fan of all the guys I cover and I get so excited to talk to them.' 7 Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews covering Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, as the 2025 game was aired on Fox on February 9. Instagram/Charissa Thompson Thompson, who hosts the 'Fox NFL Kickoff' show and 'Thursday Night Football' on Prime Video, agreed with Andrews. 'I still get really excited for whoever it is,' Thompson, 43, said. 'I remember [Buccaneers quarterback] Baker Mayfield has this crazy, crazy comeback and I totally turned into a fan and that was probably not professional, but I didn't care, that was f–king awesome. I'm a sports fan and dramatic finishes, and no matter who it is — next week, it could be the opposite in terms of who I'm rooting for. 'I like to watch good football and if something good happens for guys we root for and care about, then yeah, I don't care… There is a time and a place, but then you also still need to have the balance of professional cadence.' 7 CeeDee Lamb #88 of the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott #4 of the Dallas Cowboys are interviewed by Erin Andrews after the game against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium on November 12, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. 'Listen, it's taken us a minute to get where we are,' said Andrews, who is married to retired two-time Stanley Cup champion Jarret Stoll. 'You have to build up credibility… with not only with viewers at home, your bosses and also, the players and the coaches. You can't go into things when you first start with any job like, 'Oh my god!' PGA Tour veteran ‘very concerned' after Rory McIlroy skips first playoff event
It's not the greatest look for the PGA Tour and its playoff format that Rory McIlroy is blowing off the first leg of the three-tournament bonanza. And one influential Tour veteran is not pleased about the reigning Masters champion's absence. 'Very concerned,' Peter Malnati, one of the player directors on the PGA Tour Policy Board, told Golfweek. There's currently no deterrent for such a move for someone in McIlroy's position. The 36-year-old Grand Slam champion is in second place in the FedEx Cup standings with 3,444 points, well behind Scottie Scheffler, who had 4,806 points after winning two majors this year, and well ahead of third-place Sepp Straka (2,595). 3 Rory McIlroy celebrates his Masters win with wife, Erica Stoll, and daughter, Poppy, on April 13, 2025. Getty Images The top 50 finishers at this week's St. Jude Championship in Memphis move on to the second leg, next week's BMW Championship, where the top 30 finishers then qualify for the Tour Championship. This year's Tour Championship will begin with all 30 participants starting at even par, so even if McIlroy also skips the BMW Championship, he'll have as good of a chance as the rest of the field at winning the playoffs. 3 Peter Malnati during the Charles Schwab Challenge in May 2025. Jim Cowsert-Imagn Images Will the PGA Tour institute changes that would penalize golfers for skipping playoff events in the future? 'I think there is stuff in the works and I'll leave it at that,' Malnati told Golfweek. Webb Simpson, who's also on the Policy Board, sounded skeptical such measures would be taken. 'I think it's too hard of a thing to make guys have to play. We're still a sport where you can play when you want to play,' Simpson told the outlet. McIlroy finished second-to-last in last year's St. Jude Championship and told the Telegraph in November he was likely skipping the event this year. 3 Rory McIlroy acknowledges the crowd at Royal Portrush during the final round of the British Open on July 20, 2025. Getty Images 'I mean, I finished basically dead last there this year, and only moved down one spot in the playoff standings,' he said at the time. McIlroy already earned $10 million in bonus money for regular-season performance. The winners of the St. Jude and BMW get $3.6 million, while the Tour Championship winner gets $10 million.

Osbourne had also undergone multiple surgeries in recent years, including going under the knife for a debilitating spinal injury in 2019. Three years before his passing, Osbourne revealed just how he wanted to be remembered. The legendary rocker said 'survival is my legacy' during a 2022 interview with People. 'I mean, I'm 73. People go, 'Well, you're 70… why don't I throw the towel in?' Why should I? People still want to buy my records,' Osbourne told the outlet at the time. 'People still want to see me, so why should I? It motivates me to get off my backside and do something. I mean, if my career had gone down the toilet and I knew it was the end, I'd be pretty miserable.' 13 Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne pose for a picture as excited fans cheer in the background. 'If you've got a passion for something, you've got to find a way around it to carry on the passion.' In 2018, Osbourne got candid on his stature in the music industry, which included three Grammy wins and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice. He was inducted in 2006 with Black Sabbath and again as a solo artist in 2024. 'I'd like to be remembered for the work I did with Black Sabbath,' he told The Guardian. 'I'm so proud of the music. 'It's really the neck injury and the fall that he took,' Jack explained. In 2019, Osbourne fell and suffered a major neck injury that required surgery. He previously hurt his neck in 2000 during a bike crash. 'I just got up and carried on but I had broken my neck, and I carried on working with it until I had that fall, and then just everything came undone,' he recalled. 13 Ozzy Osbourne being interviewed about Black Sabbath's new album 'Sabotage' at Bronze Records offices in London in 1975.
