BHOPAL: Unimaginable savagery with a 45-year-old tribal woman by two tribal male neighbours has been reported from Khalwa area of southwestern Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district.
The mother of two young sons was allegedly gang-raped by two men (both neighbours) aged between 25 and 38 years. She was subsequently subjected to unimaginable torture by the two accused, who allegedly inserted some hard and blunt object (possibly an iron rod) into her private parts, causing severe damage to her internal organs, which led to her death some hours later.
Both the accused, who hail from the same Korku tribe to which the woman also belonged to, have been arrested and booked for murder and gang rape.
Importantly, the woman and the accused were neighbours and knew each other very well.
According to sources associated with the ongoing police probe, the woman went with her neighbour Hari Palvi to a marriage in the village on Friday evening. She and Hari along with another woman returned from the marriage late at night.

Khandwa: One of the accused arrested for the gangrape of a tribal woman allegedly put his hand inside her body after the assault following which her intestines came out and she died of excessive bleeding in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Monday. "No wooden rod has been recovered from the crime scene so far. She died of excessive bleeding," Khargone range Deputy Inspector General of Police Siddharth Bahuguna and Kalwa police station in-charge inspector Jagdeesh Sindya told PTI over phone. Mr Sindya is the investigation officer of the case, in which two accused -- identified only as Hari (40) and Sunil (35) -- have been arrested by police. Hari put his hand inside her body after the sexual assault following which her intestines came out. He tried to put back the intestines, but could not do so, said the in-charge inspector, citing the accused person's statement to police. Her intestines had come out, while the uterus remained unharmed, he added. "We are piecing together evidence and video recording them. We are trying to get remand of the two accused to recover a blood-soaked bed roll from the cot from the scene," Sindya said. The initial post-mortem report is awaited, the police officer said. The accused have been charged under sections 66 (causing death), 70 (1) (gangrape) and 103 (1) (murder punishment) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The gangrape took place on Friday night and the woman died the next day (Saturday) at around 2.30 pm from excessive bleeding. The crime took place under the limits of the Roshni police outpost, about 90km off the district headquarters, police said. The victim and the accused belong to the Kurku tribal community, the official said.

The postmortem report of the Madhya Pradesh tribal woman, who was gangraped by two men, revealed extreme brutality inflicted on the victim with her intestine protruding and injuries to her genitals. The 45-year-old woman died of grievous injuries and excessive bleeding after being gangraped by two men she knew to the postmortem report, accessed exclusively by India Today TV, the woman was brutally assaulted and died due to excessive bleeding. "Her intestines had come out, while the uterus remained unharmed. However, there were genital injury marks," Dr Seema Sood, head of postmortem investigation and forensic expert, horrific incident took place in Khandwa district on Friday night when the woman went to the house of the accused, Hari Palvi (35), after attending a wedding where they were joined by Sunil Dhurve (26). The three of them got drunk, following which the two men gang-raped mother discovered the woman in an injured state the next morning, following which she informed the woman's family. Later, the woman told her family members that she was sexually assaulted by both Sunil and Hari. She started excessively bleeding following the sexual assault and reportedly died due to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Raghuvanshi had said that prima facie, it appears that the woman was severely assaulted, and she bled to to police, the woman had two children, and she and the accused belonged to the Kurku tribal community. She died around 2 pm on Saturday, following which the police were the accused have been booked on charges of gangrape and murder under sections 103(1), 66 and 70(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya to the incident, the Congress said that Madhya Pradesh was turning into the country's "rape capital" and said that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had failed to handle the responsibility of law and order as the Home Minister. 45-year-old tribal woman died after a brutal gangrape INDORE: In a rerun of the Nirbhaya horror, a tribal woman was gangraped and tortured so brutally that she died on Saturday afternoon. Savaged with a wooden object or a rod, her intestines were protruding when she was found bleeding, unconscious, and taking her last breaths in a village in Khandwa on Saturday afternoon. Two men, who were the last to be seen with her, have been arrested, said DIG Siddharth Bahuguna, adding: "The accused had tortured the woman and damaged her private parts." The blood-curdling crime took place in a village in Khalwa region, around 50km from the district headquarters and 170km from Indore. The woman, a 45-year-old mother of two, had set out to attend a wedding in the village on Friday night. "After the wedding celebration, she set out on Friday night to drop off a female relative along with one of the accused, Hari, at a nearby field, just half a kilometre from her home. When she didn't return that night, her family assumed she had stayed back with them. The woman went to Hari's home where they consumed alcohol along with co-accused Sunil," said ASP Raghuwanshi. According to police, Hari's mother claimed that they were sleeping inside their home on Friday night. On Saturday morning, when she woke up, she heard someone whimpering and stepped out to see who it was. The neighbour called the woman's family members. "They took her to their home but did not take her to hospital although she was bleeding excessively. She died around 1:30-2pm after which the family members dialled 100 and informed police. The body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem examination," said ASP Raghuwanshi. Preliminary medical examination revealed she had been brutalised with a sharp or hard object and suffered terrible internal injuries. Based on this, a case of gang rape and murder has been registered against Hari Palvi, 40, and Sunil Korku, 30, residents of the same village who work as labourers." One of the doctors on the post-mortem panel told TOI on condition of anonymity, "The woman had suffered vaginal tear in a way that her intestinal contents had come out. She had suffered heavy blood loss due to intestinal bleeding. Her uterus and bladder were intact but the pouch containing the uterus was ripped. It is suspected that a hard object like a rod or a stick was used. Marks of dragging and scratches were also found on the body. " Family members told police that the woman briefly regained consciousness and told them, "Something terrible has happened to me, I will not survive. Sunil and Hari did this." Her son said they were initially unaware of the extent of her injuries. It was only when his wife checked on her that they realized she was bleeding profusely from her private parts. After some time, she gasped and died. Her body was transported to hospital on a tractor. According to the family, the woman was carrying Rs 20,000 - savings handed to her by her younger son and daughter who had recently returned from Goa, where they work with a road construction company. The family suspects that along with the brutal assault, she may have been robbed as well.
