Drake wins big after RCB's IPL 2025 triumph; Did he pocket more than Virat Kohli's team?
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru team and their supporters rejoiced on June 3rd night when history was written in gold. Canadian rapper Drake too celebrated RCB's first Indian Premier League championship win as they defeated Punjab Kings by six runs in an exciting final on Tuesday in Ahmedabad. After risking $750,000 (about ₹6.4 crore) on RCB to win the IPL 2025 final, the Canadian rapper earned an incredible $1.3 million (around ₹11 crore). An 18-year wait for the title was eventually ended as RCB beat Punjab Kings by six runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. In contrast, Drake received more than half of the ₹200 million prize money awarded to the RCB champions in a matter of hours, whereas the Bengaluru team worked for 74 days to achieve the same amount. A few hours prior to the final, the rapper shared a screenshot of the wager on his Instagram account. The post gained widespread attention as fans of hip-hop and cricket showed excitement. Drake's bet comes amid an increasing trend of worldwide celebrities displaying huge interest in cricket, particularly the IPL, which is increasing cricket's appeal on a global scale. This victory and windfall might perhaps turn the Canadian star into a regular member of the RCB. While Drake was lucky enough with his wager on red and gold, Virat Kohli's much anticipated trophy was the true gift for RCB supporters. After hearing about the wager, supporters of RCB, who are known for unintentionally jinxing sportsmen and teams with his open support—the so-called "Drake Curse"—feared the worst. The rapper was blasted for his failed bid on Conor McGregor and Serena Williams. However, cricket turned out to be a a completely different case for Drake. While RCB supporters were initially hesitant, they later praised Drake for his faith.

About Jaat Helmed by , Jaat also stars , Viineet Kumar Singh, , and in significant roles. Sunny Deol Gets Real About 'Jaat', Pressure Post-Gadar 2 & Why He STILL Hates Dancing | EXCLUSIVE The film is backed by the well-known production house behind the Pushpa series, marking their first Hindi-language production. The makers have already confirmed that a sequel is on the way. The movie reportedly crossed around Rs 100 crore worldwide. ETimes reviewed the movie: 'Visually, the film holds its own. Thaman S's background score heightens the drama effectively, and the cinematography offers a gritty, lived-in aesthetic. Action sequences, while often overindulgent, are slick and impactful. The dialogues, penned by Saurabh Gupta and Sai Madhav Burra, are over-the-top and theatrical—often more memorable than the scenes themselves. However, narrative pacing becomes a significant issue post-interval. The second half drags, and the film's 153-minute runtime begins to weigh heavily. A forced item number featuring feels unnecessary and only adds to the film's bloated feel.' On the work front, Sunny is gearing up for the release of 'Border 2'.

Optical illusion: Can you spot 9 in this image?
Image: Freejobalert If you're into visual puzzles and love testing your brainpower, here's one that'll definitely make you do a double take. The image above is a classic optical illusion challenge—at first glance, it looks like a neat grid of identical symbols, like a field of orange "Y"-shaped hooks or boomerangs. But look closer. Somewhere in this sea of symbols hides the number 9. Yup, there's a sneaky number camouflaged in the crowd, and spotting it is way trickier than it sounds. Optical illusions like this aren't just a fun way to pass the time—they're also a cool test of visual perception, attention to detail, and even brain agility. Where is the number 9? If your eyes are starting to cross—don't worry, you're not alone! But here's the spoiler (scroll only if you're stuck): The number 9 is sitting proudly in the ninth row from the top and second column from the right. It stands out once you find it, but until then, your brain gets totally thrown off by the repetitive pattern surrounding it. That's exactly why these illusions are so effective—they use pattern recognition and repetition to confuse your cognitive filtering system. Your mind gets so used to seeing one shape that it starts to overlook anything that doesn't match the pattern. Tricky, huh? Why is this optical illusion so fascinating? This illusion works because of something known as 'visual crowding.' When similar objects are packed tightly together, our brains naturally lump them into groups. This makes it harder to pick out individual differences, like a rogue number 9 among a hundred lookalikes. It's basically our brain taking a shortcut—which, in this case, backfires! And then there's the "expectation trap.' Once you start believing that all the shapes are the same, your brain stops actively scanning for differences. That's why it might take a few tries (or a hint) to find that odd one out. How optical illusions train your brain Believe it or not, these puzzles are more than just fun. They can: Improve visual memory Strengthen attention span Sharpen your mental agility Enhance pattern recognition That's why brain teasers like this are super popular in brain training apps and cognitive therapy. Why this puzzle is going viral This illusion is trending across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest because it's quick, frustrating, and incredibly satisfying once solved. People love sharing these little wins and challenging their friends. It's the perfect blend of 'aha' moment meets humble brag. So the next time you come across a brain teaser like this, don't scroll past it. These simple-looking puzzles hide powerful effects—they make your brain pause, focus, and flex its problem-solving muscles. Plus, let's be honest—it feels pretty great when you finally spot the number 9! If you love mind tricks, optical illusion games, and viral brain teasers, bookmark this and share it with your puzzle-loving friends.
