Today marks your last chance to take advantage of the Tom's Guide exclusive NordVPN deal.
NordVPN is the best VPN out there and time is running out to receive Amazon vouchers worth up to $50 AND 4 extra months of VPN protection for free.
Our NordVPN review details why we rate it the #1 VPN and all its two-year plans come with the additional months. You'll receive free Amazon gift cards with all two-year tiers of NordVPN except NordVPN Basic.
The US deal sees you receive a $20 gift card with NordVPN Plus, a $40 gift card with NordVPN Complete, and a $50 gift card with NordVPN Prime.
Sadly, you won't receive your gift card in time for Amazon Prime Day as they're delivered between 31 and 50 days after purchase.
There's also a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans, meaning you can try NordVPN risk free. If you do decide on a refund however, you won't receive a gift card.

This is the best NordVPN deal we've seen in a long time and it's exclusive to Tom's Guide and our friends at TechRadar.
28 months of NordVPN Plus costs $3.76 per month ($105.36 up front pre tax) and comes with a $20 Amazon gift card.
We really like this deal because it's less than $1 a month more than NordVPN Basic (which is $2.91 per month). For this small increase you unlock a load of great features – as well as the Amazon gift card.
You'll get a class-leading, super fast, secure VPN, with protection for up to 10 devices. But also phishing and malware protection in the form of Threat Protection Pro, and NordPass – one of the best password managers.
There's a $40 Amazon gift card with NordVPN Complete. 28 months of protection comes to $4.62 per month ($129.36 up front pre tax).
This is $24 a year more than NordVPN Plus, and for that you'll receive 1TB of encrypted cloud storage (plus all other features) and a $40 Amazon gift card.
You don't get much extra in your actual NordVPN plan but you're doubling your Amazon voucher, off-setting almost all of the extra $24.
NordVPN Prime is NordVPN's most complete offering. It's $6.33 per month ($177.36 up front pre tax) for 28 months of protection and there's a $50 Amazon gift card.
It's one of the most expensive VPN plans on the market, but NordVPN Prime boasts nearly everything you could want from a cybersecurity package. You get every feature included in previous NordVPN plans, with the addition of NordProtect.
This grants you up to $1 million in ID theft insurance, up to $100k in cyber extortion insurance, credit and dark web monitoring, and a dedicated ID theft case manager.
If you're looking for total cybersecurity protection, and are happy to spend around $6 a month, NordVPN Prime is a very good deal.
The deal is also available in Canada, with CA$20, CA$40, and CA$50 gift cards on offer. These are included with NordVPN Plus, NordVPN Complete, and NordVPN Ultra plans respectively.
The UK and Australia have access to this exclusive deal, but only receive two gift cards each. For Aussies, there's a AU$20 gift card with NordVPN Plus and a AU$40 gift card with NordVPN Complete.
UK subscribers will get their hands on a £20 gift card with NordVPN Plus, and a £50 gift card with NordVPN Ultimate.
As mentioned above, these gift cards are only offered with all two-year plans except NordVPN Basic. But all two-year plans come with a bonus four months of protection.
NordVPN's plans vary between regions. You can check out our NordVPN prices and plans page for a detailed breakdown of what's available where you are.

Apple's most popular earbuds are down to a terrific low price on Amazon

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Some of the most popular earbuds in the business are the Apple AirPods 4, and now's a great time to pick up a pair as they are on sale at Amazon for only $99 (was $129). Apart from Black Friday and Prime Day, when they dropped to $89, this is the lowest price we've ever seen them. Owning a pair of the best earbuds is essential for experiencing top-level audio, whether you're at home or on the go. Being able to listen to your favorite music and receive phone calls without needing to remove those buds is an even bigger win. This deal is for the AirPods without ANC, but if that functionality is important to you, then the AirPods 4 with ANC are also discounted to $148.99 (was $179). Whichever model you choose, you know you get excellent audio quality, innovative features, and a slick design. Today's best Apple AirPods 4 deal The latest Apple AirPods are now the lowest price they've been outside of Black Friday and Prime Day, so chances are you'll have to wait until November for them to drop any further again. This is a great offer for Apple's latest earbuds, which serve up outstanding audio with spatial smarts that make it feel like sound is all around Deal You can read our Apple AirPods 4 with ANC review to get a clearer sense of how the buds perform, but if you'd like to know what our audio editor, Becky Scarrott, thinks of the non-ANC model, then check out her AirPods 4 opinion piece. The reality is that $99 is not going to get you a pair of the best earbuds around, but what you are getting is a seamless experience with your iPhone. Being able to grab them before you head out the door and know they'll just work is a big time-saver. Just keep in mind that if you're an Android user, you will lose out on all but the most basic features, so there are better options around for you. If you're an Apple device owner, then you might want to check out all the other AirPods deals around at the moment. Trump suspends exemption for low-value imports under $800

President Trump is ending an exemption that allowed certain low-value commercial shipments into the United States without facing tariffs. Trump signed an executive order that will end the so-called de minimis exemption effective Aug. 29. As of that date, imported goods that are valued at $800 or less and shipped via means other than the international postal network will be subject to duties. The exemption is expected to hit the fast fashion industry and retailers like Temu, Shein and Amazon, as well as package shippers that import goods from China for U.S. consumers at large scale. The White House said the amount of de minimis shipments has spiked in recent years, with Customs and Border Protection processing more than 4 million such shipments into the U.S. each day. 'The de minimis exemption has been abused, with shippers sending illicit fentanyl and other synthetic opioids, precursors, and paraphernalia into the United States in reliance on the lower security measures applied to de minimis shipments, killing Americans,' the White House said in announcing the move. The administration in May had closed the de minimis loophole for Chinese imports. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. The Challenge Towns Face in Powering AI and Data Centers

As AI's rapid expansion drives a growing need for data centers, small towns like Warrenton, Virginia are pushing back - worried about the noise, energy demands, and the challenges of dealing with big tech companies. Despite the promise of much-needed revenue, Warrenton's residents overwhelmingly opposed an Amazon data center, citing concerns over community impact and energy infrastructure strain. With power needs rising faster than the grid can support, industry leaders say new solutions like on-site clean energy will be essential if data centers are to become welcome neighbors rather than disruptive intrusions.
