Live Events
When asked about Akshay Kumar allegedly sending a legal notice to Paresh Rawal for abandoning Hera Pheri 3, the filmmaker added "I don't have anything to lose but Akshay has invested money and that could be the reason why he is taking this action. Paresh Rawal hasn't spoken to me till date."
Akshay is involved in producing Hera Pheri 3. He bought the rights from producer Feroz Nadiadwala.
Suniel Shetty shocked at Paresh Rawal's exit
Earlier, Suniel Shetty had expressed his surprise at Paresh Rawal's exit. He said that he had 'no clue' about his co-star's intention to quit the film. 'This is absolutely shocking. Housefull 5 box office collection day 5: Akshay Kumar's whodunit comedy beats Gold, Housefull 2 and 3; inches closer to surpassing Holiday, Sky Force
After struggling for years to score a hit, Akshay Kumar finally seems to be on the right path with Tarun Mansukhani's whodunit comedy Housefull 5, in which he leads an ensemble of 20 actors. Kumar's last success was Sky Force earlier this year, but Housefull 5 is likely to surpass its lifetime collection in a week. On Tuesday, Housefull 5 earned Rs 10.75 crore across both its A and B versions, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. This was a minor dip from its Monday earnings of Rs 13 crore. However, sustaining double digits after day 3 has allowed Housefull 5 to pass the crucial Monday test. Over its opening weekend, the film earned Rs 24 crore, Rs 31 crore, and Rs 32.5 crore on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. As per Sacnilk, the current box office collection of Housefull 5 in India stands at Rs 111.25 crore. In the process, it has beaten the lifetime domestic collection of Kumar's 2018 period sports drama Gold, directed by Reema Kagti, which concluded at Rs 104.72 crore. Housefull 5 has also crossed the collections of two previous instalments of the comedy franchise. Housefull 5 has beaten Sajid-Farhad's Housefull 3, which earned Rs 109.14 crore in 2016, as well as Sajid Khan's Housefull 2, which collected Rs 106 crore in 2012, and turned out to be Kumar's maiden Rs 100 crore hit. Since then, he has delivered 12 films which made it to the Rs 100 crore club — Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore (2012), Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014), Housefull 3, Rustom (2016), Toilet – Ek Prem Katha (2017), Gold, 2.0 (2018), Kesari (2019), Mission Mangal (2019), Housefull 4 (2019), and Good Newwz (Rs 205.14 crore), and now, Hosuefull 5. Given its current trajectory, Housefull 5 is most likely to beat the lifetime collection of Holiday (Rs 112.45 crore) and Sky Force (Rs 112.75 crore) today on its sixth day at the box office. Housefull 5 also seems to have benefitted from its two versions (A and B) that have been released in cinemas simultaneously. The ending and the killer are different in each version. Housefull 5, which enjoyed a solo Hindi release last week, has one more week to go before it faces fresh competition from RS Prasanna's coming-of-age sports comedy Sitaare Zameen Par, starring Aamir Khan. Produced by the actor, it's a spiritual sequel to his 2008 directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. Interestingly, that film also clashed with another Kumar blockbuster, Anees Bazmee's action comedy Singh Is Kinng. Nadiadwala has also written the story and screenplay of Housefull 5. Also featuring Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan and Sanjay Dutt among others. Housefull franchise kicked off in 2010 with the first instalment helmed by Sajid Khan, which made Rs 75 crore at the domestic box office.

Sony moves Bombay HC to challenge TDSAT stay on Tata Play disconnection
Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has moved the Bombay High Court to challenge a recent Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) order restraining SPNI from proceeding with a disconnection notice issued to direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Play . A division bench of the court comprising Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Neela Gokhale on Tuesday issued notices to TDSAT and Tata Play, directing them to file their responses. The matter has been posted for further hearing on Monday, June 16. SPNI, a Sony Group Corp-owned entity operating under the legal name Culver Max Entertainment, runs 27 television channels. It issued a disconnection notice to Tata Play, the country's largest DTH operator with 18 million subscribers, after the latter decided to remove its channels from consumer packs following disagreements over the renewal of their annual subscription deal. While staying SPNI's disconnection notice on May 27, TDSAT had directed Tata Play to pay Rs 40 crore to the broadcaster within two weeks as part-payment against SPNI's claimed dues of Rs 128 crore. The tribunal said this amount would be adjusted against the final liability determined during the final hearing. People familiar with the dispute between the two said SPNI is seeking a fee hike, which Tata Play has resisted citing declining viewership of its channels. TDSAT in its order noted that not granting the stay could result in irreparable harm to Tata Play. It directed both parties to reconcile their differences, including at the account level. In the High Court, senior counsel Janak Dwarkadas, along with Sneha Jaisingh of Bharucha & Partners, appeared for SPNI to challenge the TDSAT order. Senior counsel Ravi Kadam is representing Tata Play. In the TDSAT, Tata Play's counsel argued that the broadcaster's demand was unjustified, claiming the company had already paid about Rs 4,000 crore over the past decade, including Rs 700 crore annually. They further contended that substantial payments had been made since SPNI's initial communication in March 2025, which had sought dues of Rs 300 crore. Tata Play, jointly owned by Tata Sons (70%) and Walt Disney (30%), reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 510 crore for FY25, up 44% from Rs 354 crore the previous year. Revenue declined 5.46% to Rs 4,082 crore, driven by subscriber losses amid increased competition from DD Free Dish and the rising popularity of OTT platforms. SPNI reported a 19% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 839 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. Revenue from operations fell 3% to Rs 6,510 crore, with advertising revenue declining 11% to Rs 2,912 crore, while subscription revenue rose 7% to Rs 3,346 crore. According to Ashish Pyasi, partner at law firm Aendri Legal, the TDSAT resolves conflicts between telecom and broadcast companies. Its rulings can only be challenged in the Supreme Court. There is no provision for challenging the interim orders to the Supreme Court. 'However, if someone files a writ petition in the High Court against a temporary TDSAT order, they are asking the High Court to use its special powers, which is only allowed in rare cases,' adds Pyasi.

Can you get Lies of P on Xbox Game Pass?
Lies of P Overture (Image via Neowiz). Lies of P , the soulslike action RPG that reimagines the Pinocchio tale in a dark Belle Époque setting, is no longer available on Xbox Game Pass . The game was removed from the subscription service on March 15, 2025, shortly before the launch of its first major DLC, Overture. Initially, Lies of P was a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass in 2023, allowing subscribers to play it at no extra cost. However, Microsoft's decision to rotate it out means players now need to purchase the game separately if they want to experience its challenging combat and twisted narrative. Why was Lies of P removed from Xbox Game Pass? Lies of P Overture - Let's Play Part 1: Krat Zoo Microsoft regularly updates its Xbox Game Pass library, adding and removing titles to keep the lineup fresh. Lies of P was part of a wave of removals that also included: - Yakuza 5 Remastered - Evil West This rotation strategy ensures new games are introduced but can disappoint players who relied on the service for access. How to play Lies of P now Since the game is no longer on Xbox Game Pass, players have two options: 1. Purchase the base game – Lies of P is still available on Xbox and PC via digital stores. 2. Buy the DLC separately – The Overture expansion, released in June 2025, requires the base game. Owning the game outright guarantees uninterrupted access to all future updates and expansions. What the Overture DLC adds to the Lies of P experience The Overture DLC serves as a prequel, expanding the lore of Krat and introducing new story elements. Key features include: - A deeper dive into the game's steampunk world - New weapons and enemies - Additional narrative layers to the main story Players who enjoyed the base game will find this expansion a worthwhile addition. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 오스템 임플란트 받아가세요 임플란터 더 알아보기 Undo While Lies of P is no longer on Xbox Game Pass, it remains a compelling experience for fans of challenging action RPGs.
