Martin explains Rangers recall for Tavernier and Raskin
Their performances have earned them starting positions for the second leg against the Czech side.
Max Aarons' injury has also played a part in Tavernier's recall.
The Bournemouth loanee picked up a knock and will be absent for the match but is expected to be fit to face Alloa Athletic on Saturday.
Martin explained his selection choices to BBC Scotland, saying: "I think that is the right team to play tonight to win the game.
"Nico was fantastic when he came on Saturday, as was Tav, had a big moment for us and executed it."
He further explained Aarons' situation, saying: "Max picked up a little bit of a knock before the game on Saturday and got through it as best as he could, but it's actually set him back a little bit.
"So he'll be fit for the weekend, but there was no point in bringing him to travel and he's now got a bit of time to recover now.

"So Tav and Nico really helped the team on Saturday and they're in tonight."
The manager also spoke about Joe Rothwell, who has been left out of the squad after starting alongside Raskin in recent games.
Martin said: "He's come in, he's done great.
"He's looked a bit tired on Saturday and we've just gone for energy.
"So we have two really good options there.
"They might end up on the pitch together at some point tonight."

Motherwell boss 'proud' that 'special talent' Lennon Miller has made big-money move
Miller move to Udinese on Tuesday for a club record fee Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou is 'proud' that Lennon Miller sealed his big-money move to Serie A side Udinese, and says it's up to the club to uncover another superstar. The 18-year-old made the career-changing move on Tuesday, signing a five-year deal and netting his formative club a record-breaking fee, believed to be around £5m. Askou says the fact that Miller is a home-grown talent is brilliant, and expects this to just be the first in many major steps for the midfielder. He said: 'Pride is a good word to put on it, because he has been part of this club for so long, and it's a fantastic story for everyone and for Lennon himself, even more so, but we are proud and he's happy and proud. 'It has been going on for a little while, I have been asked many questions, which is fair, because I understand the interest, because he is a special talent, a rare talent in Scottish football, and we're really happy that part of his journey has been with us, and we wish him all the best. 'I think there would be many clubs in which he would fit in very well, because he is very versatile, he's an intelligent player who can adapt and who has already shown here that he can adapt to different styles of football and do really well. 'My impression of Udinese is that it is a club that has been quite stable. You see some of the Italian clubs where it goes very much up and down at times, but it's a club that has been in Serie A for a long time, and you don't really hear a lot of headlines negatively on the way they drive the club. 'They found a special talent here and they're quite good at getting them to take the next step, because they play more and more younger players in the Serie A, which is really positive and I think it's a great move for him.' Askou admits it's now everybody's job to try and find a talent like Miller amongst their own academy players. He said: 'I think it's everyone's job here, that we try to get the most out of what comes through the academy, and also the ones that come at a later stage, and the players we bring in directly to the first team. 'It's our job to be able to lift them, and grow them into better players, first of all for us, but we bring them in here because they're ambitious and they want to make us better. 'We hope that, now and then, a similar talent like Lennon Miller pops up. We know that it's very rare, and we feel extremely blessed that he has been here, so we're really excited to follow him from afar now, and see what he can do. 'I think [bringing through young talent] has been a part of what we've been able to do here long before I've arrived, and I hope it will be in the future. 'There are interesting players in the academy and we have some good young players taking their first steps in the first team right now. 'I'm not going to mention any names, because it's going to put unnecessary pressure on them, but we see interesting players every day. 'I'm sure, and positive, that we will see new, young players coming up in the near future.'

Tawanda Maswanhise extension is 'perfect' says Motherwell boss
Jens Berthel Askou is pleased with the Zimbabwean's progress Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou says Tawanda Maswanhise's contract extension is 'perfect' for a player who is keen to learn and grow at the club. Zimbabwean Maswanhise has added a year onto his deal, keeping him at Fir Park until summer 2027, with the club holding the option of a further year. Maswanhise, 22, has impressed this season and he's scored four goals already, having also done well last season after arriving from Leicester City. Boss Askou said: 'It's very positive. He is a player that came here a year ago from one of the bigger academies in England, and he's done really well. 'He played more and more last season, and this pre-season and the start of the League Cup and the league, he had done fantastically. 'We're really pleased with his progress and his effort he's showing, in terms of learning and growing, so it's a fantastic news for us and for him, that we know he's here for a little bit longer, so it's perfect.' Maswanhise told the club's website: 'Ultimately I wanted to stay, and signing this deal was a straightforward choice. 'The fans, players, and staff and all fantastic.
