Where play meets purpose: An immersive model for business impact
An entrepreneur and seasoned business leader with over 30 years in retail, he is also the Managing Director of The Gamifier Group, a UAE based performance consultancy and gamification tech firm. Time and again, he encountered the same pattern: traditional reporting systems that were static, retrospective, and disengaging, tools that measured outcomes but failed to inspire the people responsible for delivering them. Metrics sat in dashboards, conversations were delayed, and frontline teams struggled to see how their efforts translated into business impact.
Determined to find a better way, Elvin set out to design a system that would reimagine how performance is experienced, measured, and celebrated in the workplace. Drawing on his background in sports science, enterprise operations, and behavioral performance, he created Leaguestar, a gamified performance platform built to energize teams, elevate accountability, and drive real-time results. From day one, Leaguestar was built with a people-first lens. Rather than simply deploying software, the approach centers around immersive collaboration.
Every implementation is designed in partnership with the organization, aligning with cultural values, strategic goals, and operational realities. This includes in-depth discovery, co-design sessions with leadership, and narrative development that frames performance through a unifying, team-based lens. The rollout is supported by creative communications, tailored game mechanics, and leadership enablement, ensuring the system becomes part of the rhythm of the business, not an add-on. At its core, Leaguestar gamifies performance, turning static KPIs into live, league-style challenges that spark healthy competition, real-time feedback, and daily motivation.
Managers get instant, intuitive data to coach with impact. Employees see their progress come to life, earn recognition, and stay engaged through a game they want to win. What started as a solution to disengagement has grown into a proven platform used across industries and regions, transforming performance from a passive report into an active, shared experience that's felt, played, and owned by everyone involved.

The campaign marks a major milestone in the company's rapid international expansion and underlines its strategic commitment to the UAE and wider Middle East region. In just two years, OMODA & JAECOO has entered 41 global markets and surpassed 540,000 units in cumulative sales, positioning itself as the fastest-growing new auto player in the world. The brand's latest move in Dubai demonstrates its ambition to engage with high-value international audiences, business travellers, and local consumers in one of the world's most influential transit locations. With its brand name now prominently displayed across key touchpoints in Dubai International Airport - from digital billboards to premium signage - OMODA & JAECOO is capitalising on the airport's unparalleled footfall and prestige. This visual takeover not only elevates brand visibility but reinforces its image as a premium, forward-looking automotive innovator. Dubai International Airport, known as a global gateway for luxury and innovation, provides the ideal platform for OMODA & JAECOO to connect with trend-conscious, tech-savvy, and high-net-worth individuals. OMODA & JAECOO's participation at DXB is a key milestone in the brand's strategic expansion across the Middle East. Officially launched in the UAE in February 2025, OMODA & JAECOO's local subsidiary now serves as the central hub for the entire Middle East and GCC region. This strong foundation allows the brand to tailor its products and services to the unique needs of regional customers, providing them with a personalised and enhanced ownership experience. 'We're excited to see our footprint in the UAE grow, with showrooms already established in Deira Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and the recently opened location in Fujairah. With further expansions underway, we look forward to opening new showrooms in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi later this year, underscoring our long-term commitment to the market,' said Shawn Xu, chief executive officer of OMODA & JAECOO Automobile International. 'To better serve our customers, we've also launched a state-of-the-art, 12,000 sqm integrated spare parts centre - the largest of its kind among Chinese auto brands in the region. This facility ensures a 100 per cent parts fulfilment rate and a 24-hour supply of urgent components (VOR), significantly enhancing the quality of our after-sales service.' As part of its UAE growth strategy, OMODA & JAECOO is preparing to introduce its new JAECOO J5 - a premium outdoor light off-road SUV designed for both adventure seekers and pet-friendly lifestyles. Alongside the J5, the upcoming launch of the OMODA C7, a next-generation NEOCrossover, is expected to further strengthen the brand's appeal among the UAE's young, urban, and environmentally aware consumers. 'Dubai and the UAE represent the future of mobility - innovative, premium, and connected,' said Xu. 'Our brand campaign at Dubai International Airport isn't just about visibility. It's about aligning with the UAE's forward-thinking vision and delivering high-value experiences for the region's most discerning drivers.' With more than 300 showrooms across Europe, a record 370 per cent year-on-year growth in NEV sales, and a rapid expansion into Latin America and Asia, OMODA & JAECOO is not just building a global footprint - it's setting new benchmarks for speed, scale, and strategic market engagement. And with Dubai International Airport as its new global branding stage, the company's UAE journey is only just beginning.

Abu Dhabi Achieves Success in First Flying Taxi Trial
Abu Dhabi has officially entered the future of urban transport with a successful test flight of its flying taxi at Al Bateen Executive Airport on Wednesday. Join our FREE WhatsApp channel to dive into a world of real-time engagement! The milestone flight was announced by the US-based Archer Aviation in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), marking a major step toward the commercial launch of flying taxi services, which is expected to begin in early 2026. 'Today is the first step of many to enable the commercialisation of air taxis in Abu Dhabi and the UAE,' said Omran Malek, head of autonomous mobility and robotics at ADIO. 'We're not just launching a service, we're building an entire ecosystem around it, including pilot training, maintenance, manufacturing, and workforce development.' Testing For UAE's Unique Conditions The test flight of Archer's Midnight aircraft featured a vertical takeoff and landing, designed to evaluate performance in the UAE's challenging summer conditions, high temperatures, humidity, and dust. Dr Talib Alhinai, manager of Archer Aviation UAE, explained: 'Our initial flight tests are all about validating the aircraft's readiness for the UAE's environment. Once that's complete, we can move confidently into the commercial phase.' More tests are planned over the summer to further study the aircraft's durability in local conditions. Building The Future of Urban Mobility Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai are racing to launch flying taxis, with Joby Aviation also conducting a successful test in Dubai earlier this week. Abu Dhabi, however, is taking a comprehensive approach by developing the necessary infrastructure, including vertiports, airspace integration, and local manufacturing facilities. According to Malek, Archer plans to begin manufacturing the flying taxis in Al Ain by 2027, with plans to export them to other countries as interest grows in the region. Affordable and Accessible Contrary to popular belief, flying taxis won't just be for luxury travelers. Malek reassured that the service is being designed to be affordable for the public: 'As we build more vertiports and increase the number of aircraft, the price will scale down, making it practical for daily use.' In the initial commercial phase, a small fleet of aircraft will operate in Abu Dhabi, with the service gradually expanding as the supporting ecosystem matures. With the first commercial flights targeted for early 2026, Abu Dhabi is positioning itself as a global leader in urban air mobility, not just testing the future but building it.
