Priya Sachdev Kapur recently opened up about the emotional challenges she faced during her first marriage to American hotelier Vikram Chatwal. Her candid conversation on Kin and Kindness's YouTube channel gained widespread attention shortly after the passing of her husband, Sunjay Kapur, who died in London on June 12 at 53.

She reflected on her past marriage to

Chatwal, admitting she initially thought they were perfectly matched because 'My ex-husband ticked all the boxes… He went to Wharton, worked at Morgan Stanley. I did mathematics at UCLA, a double major with UCLA and LSE… So I thought this is a perfect match.'
Yet, she acknowledged that despite carefully planning her career and life, things didn't go as expected: 'You know how you do your career path, but it doesn't always work.
I thought I had it all right… but I guess I chose wrong.'

Kapur admitted that she noticed problems in her marriage quite early, particularly during her pregnancy. She said, 'When I had her and I realised, a few 15 to 20 weeks into my pregnancy, I realised this marriage is not right.
