In a statement on the official X account of the Ministry of Sports, the minister also ordered a reward of SR100,000 for each player of the Saudi clubs that qualify for the final match of the tournament.
The AFC Champions League Elite Finals Jeddah 2025 has reached its thrilling penultimate stage, with four heavyweights—three from Saudi Arabia and one from Japan—battling for a coveted spot in the final. Four-time champions Al-Hilal will take on unbeaten Al-Ahli in the first semi-final on Tuesday. In the second semi-final, Al-Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will face on Wednesday Japan's Kawasaki Frontale, the only non-Saudi team that entered semi-finals.
The final match of the AFC Champions League will be held on May 3 at Al-Inmaa Stadium in Jeddah between the winners of the semi-final matches.

Statistically, Bahrain edged it: 101 total points to Saudi's 88, 12 blocks to five, and fewer errors (28 to 34). Both sides served two aces, but Saudi's 18 service errors were costly compared to Bahrain's 12. Qatar Stay Clinical, Wadidie Leads Earlier, Qatar swept aside Oman 3–0 (25–18, 25–19, 25– 20). Raimi Wadidie starred with 17 points, including three blocks and two aces. 'We knew Oman would be aggressive, it's a semi-final,' said Waleed Mohamed Widatalla. 'But we stayed focused and followed the plan.' Qatar reached the final with straight-sets wins over Lebanon (twice) and Kuwait. Bahrain had done the same to Jordan, Lebanon, UAE and Kuwait before this semi. With 2024 Arab Championship and 2025 AVC Nations Cup titles already secured, Bahrain are one match away from a third crown in less than a year. But tonight's 7pm final at Isa bin Rashed Volleyball Hall will test them, because Qatar haven't blinked either. Entry is free for all.

Saudi Arabia Privatizes Three Football Clubs
The Ministry of Sports announced Thursday the privatization of the three football clubs— Al-Ansar, Al-Kholood, and Al-Zulfi — under the Kingdom's broader sports investment and privatization initiative. Ownership of the clubs has officially been transferred to private investors following the completion of regulatory procedures and company formation by the National Center for Privatization. New Golf Course to Boost Saudi Arabia's Sports
Saudi Arabia's upcoming entertainment and sports city, Qiddiya, has unveiled plans for an 18-hole golf course designed by English golfer Sir Nick Faldo. The course, set along the 200-meter-high cliffs of the Tuwaiq Mountains, is part of Qiddiya's broader push to develop golf infrastructure in the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The announcement follows Qiddiya's new global partnership with the Faldo Series, regarded as the world's leading development pathway for young golfers. The partnership aims to grow the sport in Saudi Arabia and expand youth participation nationally and internationally, the SPA added. Faldo called the partnership a unique opportunity to help shape one of the world's most ambitious cities, where modern lifestyles blend with sports, entertainment, and culture in an innovative urban model. He said: 'The collaboration with Qiddiya City brings together one of the world's foremost sporting communities and a vibrant society passionate about discovering new sports experiences.' The project aligns with Qiddiya's long-term vision to become a premier golf destination in Saudi Arabia, welcoming players of all ages and supporting the next generation of Saudi golfers. The course will offer a variety of playing options and accommodate all skill levels. Alongside a layout designed to challenge professionals, it will feature evening lighting for night play and structured training programs for beginners. Qiddiya City includes more than 20 master-planned districts focused on entertainment, sports, and culture, along with housing, commercial, and hospitality offerings.
